| Hmm, might take some time to get used to these kids. Arel has a new "rival" of sorts and a friend. The idea of the magic school, entrance exams, etc seems to checking more boxes on the 'fantasy tropes' list for this anime. Seems to be an ongoing arc rather than some one time episode though. |

| mmmkaaaay... so how is he going to attend six different schools at once? each daily lesson better be at or below 1 hour or he's going to be spending 6+ hours a day running from class to class. plus, if his 'first efforts' are so maxed out during the entrance exams... by the way! that was SUCH a cop out on the white and yellow schools' exams! all we saw were big spheres of white and yellow light coming from behind a huge outer wall... so what is he doing at that college anyways? sure, the sword city had lots of folks' stuff for him to copy and whatnot. is he going to learn how to combo lots of different 'colors' into a new 'prismatic school' of magical combat? kinda like the Chinese alchemy system with wood and metal and fire and blablabla? use the fire to heat the water and make a fog bank that you control by calming and directing any breezes or ??? hmm. i dunno. i guess i'll find out next week. :) |

| The animation is good but the writting is TRASH but still find it enjoyable weird lol. I had been reading the manga as well it it is very similar to the anime. Very rushed. I will keep watching until the end. ^_^ |

| No amount of setup and back filler can help a bland MC. Even the deadpan doesn't work because the MC is also dead-faced. The fact that the story is just floating around aimlessly only makes this feel more pointless. We get it. Spells and gimmicks and overwhelming power. Class-redefining and limit-breaking abilities. (Sarcastic) woohoo! To what end? If they'd made this strictly SOL and he made life in the town or kingdom better for others as well, even in simple ways, it might have been okay. If they threw something in like an invasion or cataclysm or impending war or rivalries between factions, it might have been okay. Even the "demon" from a few episodes back was just brushed off as nothing. So this is just.... meh. |

| Loved the episode. I love how every time someone mocks Arel, a situation comes up where he has to show off and shut them all up, just like he did with the three kids, haha. I also liked how each of the children had a hair color matching their own element. The children aside, I’m curious to see what’s going to happen now that the anime has suddenly shifted into a school setting. In the City of Swords, Arel won the tournament, became famous, and then basically left. But in the Institute of Magic, he’s actually going to start attending school now? What? I thought the teachers would just tell him there ain't anything left for them to teach him, but apparently he’s really going to start attending classes next episode. I wonder how long that'll take. I expected it to play out exactly like it did in the City of Swords, but as Arel said, this seems completely different. |
| Trash academy arc. While previous episode might have been the best, this one is probably the worst. Annoying kid is no match for funny Lilia and the whole episode felt like copy/paste. They better keep some time for Raina. |
| I didn't think I would miss Lilia, but these three pokemon-ahh kids might just be worse... Arel literally isn't happy until he learns and becomes the best at everything, he mastered sword skills and now plans on magic! |

| Even with 3 years of timeskip, Arel is still the same as before, escaping to Arsbell, the City of Magic this time to attend the Institute of Magic, only leaving a note for his family. Instead, he's together with his transport driver Leon, driving the young magic spellcasters of Kaito, Collette and Kufa, who still have a lot of work to do in the face of danger, such like a wild troll going berserk. Going into Arsbell, which Arel has to master all 6 colours by their magic schools, and Kaito just shrugging his mouth off of the brilliance of his "master", he sure surpasses everything like it's nothing with the red, blue and green schools. However, within the young kids, Arel giving Collette the encouragement to pass her own green test, and then finishing both white and yellow magic to finally enter the black magic school, of which its clerk of skeleton Latalia welcomes him with quite the scare alright. How is Arel going to attend all 6 magic schools? Kid me not... |

| i think that carriage driver knows arel all too well now and ain't even surprised that he can pull off some superhuman feats lol and i feel those three's confusion and surprise when arel announced he's taking all 6 classes. he's crazy, but he's got aptitude for those i guess. |

| ROFL... Episode began with "It's been 3 years since I started training" Then it shows her pour Tea... Reiner... are you even training in sword? are you sure you're not being trained to become a wife? LOL . And as expected... MC dude is going for ALL Elements, since he's "no class", just as physical skills, he can learn everything and anything. And also as expected, MC is aware, dude even said "Deja Vu", unlike other series MCs that just either gets confused or pretend nothing happened. Tho... I been wondering... why is there only ONE "City of Sword" and ONE "City of Magic"... where are the other cities? Since so far, we've only seen other small villages... are there no other cities out there? . LOL @ the 3 kids tho, they're kinda cute, but also feels like they're gonna be real annoying, especially with MC being aware. And at the carriage rider, dude was laughing at the whole thing, cause he already experienced this once before, LOL. I think the Green hair one is going to be the least bothersome one, since she's the shy type. . Also, MC modified a skill again, this time turning a Fire spin into a Laser. Too bad they skipped the Light, (white?) and Black tests. We only saw Fire, Water and Wind. And as expected, no one really go for Black Magic, since that's the "evil magic". . poor Skel lady tho... got beheaded, good thing MC didn't use light magic, otherwise she would have actually died. (again?) . I also noticed something else... the City of Sword pretty much just got Guilds for ALL physical skills. While magic is separated into elements. I guess physical skills aren't diverse enough to be focused as classes... |

| Arel took only 6 episodes to go from noob to the strongest swordsman, and now that he's tackling the city of magic he's back in the underdog position again. I can't blame him for feeling Deja Vu for how this is playing out. The Dark School being the most unstructured might actually end up offering Arel the most challenge here. Maybe he'll accidentally stumble across something magically taboo. |
