10/10 for the learning that this anime provided me.💙
The best thing about the anime isn't the gold or the diamond. 💎
The best thing about the anime is the very deliciousness of Nagi Arato.🤯

Damn, thicc Ruri at the end.

Enjoyable, educational, or if you're not into it after this whole time, at least it's good-looking.

7/10.

Such a great finale to a comfy anime. We are treated to some fanservice, heavily censored of course, but that is not what we were here for, it's just a nice bonus ;)
Nagi and Youko were talking about how hard it is to find work in their field, but Seto is not going to let that daunt her. Her heart is set on following in their footsteps and after a bit of self-reflection Ruri also wants to keep exploring the world of minerology. We even get a end card of an older Ruri who is still searching out pretty rocks.
I really enjoyed this anime, it had great and detailed animation and was very educational. I think it is one of the best but understated anime this season, a real gem ;)

Shows like this need to be carried by their characters and unfortunately Ruri is just too much of a brat for me to like and everyone else is a wet towel.

Pretty animation and fan service don't really carry 'meh' characters.

It was beautiful and was pretty watchable.
I think I would have taken so much more from this if I had a genuine interest in mineralogy. I did learn a few things but some of the explanations were a bit wasted on me. I would recommend the show to anybody who does have a passion for the subject though.

Excellent, both the onsen ending episode and the series!

Nagi already is a beautiful woman -- culture and education makes her even more attractive.

Oh, how I wish a second season!

Strong contender for my favorite anime this year. I loved every episode and seeing Ruri's character development throughout brought a tear to my eye today. I can't remember a show that had such a great sense of adventure and discovery, backed by some of the best environmental art I've ever seen. I'm gonna miss these characters so much.

the last time i was this invested in anything mineral related or earth science related was in high school, lol.

but man oh man, did Ruri Rocks go above and beyond in everything.
peak. just peak, bro.
of course, what they talked about wasn't my specialty but it was so fun to watch. the characters were all lovely and had their own personalities and goals, the production value was top notch and the scenery...mwah.
gonna miss this for real.
9/10.

Studio Bind trying to sell the BDs with the classic onsen steam censoring 🤣

I knew they were gonna show us adult Ruri when that narrator started speaking

I enjoyed this, even tho I'm not a fan of rocks

A very chill episode at the end, but also a very important message, one that the same fun can't last forever and that everyone has at least some worries. Love how they showed a glimpse into the future as well at the end.

This was an incredible mix of CGDCT, beautiful visuals and educational value, and was very entertaining too. I have no points to dock for anything honestly, so 10/10 from me. I really hope there's a season 2 one day.

This was much more impressive than I expected it to be, and I am a sucker for nature- and science-related shows.
I am especially impressed by production, particularly music, OP and ED. They are dramatic and profound.

Oh wow, minuscule meteors thing was honestly shocking. Never thought about that. Assumed everything would burn in the atmosphere and that's it.

Loved this show. So many new and interesting info. No joke, eye-opener in some cases. Not to mention, it made me curious and interested in stones and minerals.

I won't be able to look at nature the same way I did prior to watching this. Will certainly check rivers near my village next summer. I always see people playing in water or fishing, but never saw someone checking for minerals. I may as well discover untapped treasures, just like Ruri! :)
Fingers crossed!

Surprisingly good show I wasn't planning to watch but gave it a try only recently. If not for fanservice elements I'd give it 10/10. Well, that's just my preferences. Art and animation was top tier too.

If this gets S2, will watch without question.

I never imagined that this anime would hook me so much. I only came for Nagi after seeing the trailer, just for the fanservice, but I ended up staying for the mineralogy, the quality, and the meaningful messages it conveyed.

I don't think there will be a second season, especially with that ending showing an adult Ruri following in Nagi's footsteps. Looking for beautiful stones and investigating where they come from and why they are so beautiful. Without a doubt, a great anime.

Nice anime to learn about mineralogy.

Learn new things because of this anime. It seems the manga author studied mineralogy.

I'm grateful for the production team's thoughtful gesture of saving the ‘hot spring episode’ for the finale.
However, even if steam and mysterious lights were used to cover it up, it's unfortunate if there are regions where this episode can't be watched (due to broadcast restrictions for inappropriate content).
It's a moment that makes me truly feel grateful to have been born Japanese.

What a beautiful and inspiring anime this has been! I love how anime can get me invested in topics and fields that I would have never even looked into otherwise, I will never take the beauty and complexity of our wonderful earth for granted again. 😌

Ruri even inherited Nagi's warhammer.

I took earth science classes in school and was happy about the accuracy on many of the subjects in each episode. I also learned quite a bit while cheering on the characters as they learned and grew. Quite possibly my favorite show of the season. The manga is still going, so if the story continues there, I'll go read it.

Beautiful way to end off the anime. It was a very chillax and comforting in a way experience.

Well animated, simple yet great character designs, stunning background art and such beautiful details were put into making the minerals look, well beautiful. Show was very easy to understand even for someone who doesn't know much about rocks, I got to learn about all this stuff alongside Ruri.

Seeing that last scene of adult Ruri, looking into what the future holds for her is really cool. And other than that, the highlight of this show for me is Nagi. Other than the... obvious aspects of her that people like... I also really liked her and Ruri's big sister and little sister relationship a lot. It was really wholesome. The other characters, Seto and Imari were also nice. Overall, the whole group was very wholesome and it was fun seeing them learn about rocks and mineralogy through this show.

8.5/10 great educational show with wholesome characters and stunning visuals. No complains here

Ruri rocks? This show should had been called Ruri sucks. Can't recall any other character in recent times this bratty, selfish and entitled had the chance of being the main character without getting some reality check by any of their peers. Never saw this charm most of the stans pushed forward about Ruri and her slowly finding her path in such a mind numbing boring profession that even the characters admit there's so little demand in their area.

The edutaiment aspect of the series was a complete chore to watch/listen to. It felt that it was 100% aimed towards people that were already invested in the mineralogy field, and that's not a good thing. For instance, shows like Yama no Suzume, or Dairy of our breakwater days managed to mix up the whole edutaiment aspect in a more balanced way that it felt more appealing to outsiders that weren't familiar with hiking or fishing.

Going back to character writing, the whole cast feels like watered down versions of more compelling characters with their own worries and goals in comparison to once again more thorough and complex characters like in Yama no Suzume.

The only outstanding asset of the show was the amazing animation and great background designs along with the fanservice, but it's hard to feel entertained with only the visual aspect without the heart.

I'll die on this hill, just like videogames, good graphics don't make up for fun gameplay, immersive storyline and charming characters.

Ruri is a living saint compared to Iseri Nina (the MC of spring 2024's dark horse anime Girls Band Cry) when it comes to being bratty, throwing tantrums and generally being PITA... Yet, these are the exact kind of shows which have staying power: the GBC recap movie debut was all the hype this week. Characters who are not cookie-cutter and Mary Sue are simply more interesting and memorable.

18:50 Nagi’s napes 👌🏻

My 18th Summer 2025 anime finished! Once again, I regret not hopping on this anime sooner. This could’ve been my one and only Sunday anime for Summer 2025 🥲 I would’ve had an anime to watch everyday. Better late than never 🤣 Of course, I admit I only watched this because of Nagi 🤣 no shame. She is just 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Voiced by Asami Seto with that cool beauty voice. She’s a grad student like me too 👀 Like I said, author knew what they were doing 🤣 it worked. Love how the characters were animated too. So cute. It was kinda cool tho learning about mineralogy 🤣

Totally watched for the plot 🤪

I wonder if the blu rays will uncensor those onsen scenes because if so I might have to come back once those release

sad to see the way this episode ended since it doesn't give much hope for a sequel seeing as Ruri is an adult now (which I wonder how that is in the manga) but either way I think that finale was at a good point in the show

It is amazing when you found a show that related with your current life. I did learn bit Geography in form 6 back then, but I dropped out. Nevertheless it was amazing. It was like you're studying the same topic but on different media. I love educational anime. There are tons of knowledge that we can't thrive all of them but we do stumble upon them little by little. Learning new things is really fun!

Damn can't believe I forgot to watch the finale of this. Quite phiisophical for a "fan service" episode. I enjoyed it so much I wasn't even mad Nagi got the least exposure in the hot spring. Honestly this show didn't even need the cute girls to sell it, they just made it even better. Probably my favorite show this season. Beautiful animation, great characters and educational and entertaining at the same time. 9/10
