| A bit more focus on Miwa this episode. Her father really pushed her to the limits huh I think it was cute that she was able to spend some alone time with Yuu. Plus, Yuu got the chance to reflect part of his own life. This episode showed Miwa's more vulnerable side, more than any other imo. |

| No way I really only got one more episode of my girls next week and that’s it :( They’re going out with a bang with this Miwa arc. Can this author NOT make me go back and forth on who’s best girl every week, thanks? lol I love all of them so much and these last two episodes with Miwa have just made me fall in love with her. She’s such a sweetheart and I love how tender and vulnerable her moments with Yu are! Yu stop making girls fall in love challenge! It’s bad enough he got all 3 of the sisters, now he’s pulling their rivals too? Yaotome is gonna be competing with Miwa in Shogi and romance soon enough lol, but more importantly, I love how much of a great friend she is to Miwa. Even though she beat Miwa, it didn’t bring her the satisfaction because she could tell she wasn’t herself or at her best. In her own little tsundere way, she wanted Yu to go cheer her up. Speaking of cheering up, you can see how much Yu has rubbed off on the girls because Kazuki and Niko are acting like proper big sisters/mother figures to Miwa. The way they tried to keep her level headed and encouraged after the loss was something they’d never would have done before meeting Yu! Even their cheesy little expressions feel so much like him. I think Miwa’s dilemma with her lack of true love for Shogi is something a lot of people go through. Sometimes you’re just really good at things and get into them for praise, but your heart isn’t really in it. I think she enjoys Shogi, but her reasoning for playing up until this point was validation and praise from her dad. Her sisters are just in another plane of existence in her mind and this is the only way she can feel special too. For her, the loss wasn’t just a Shogi match, it also represented losing her father and sisters’ affection and that’s terrifying to her. Yu being able to relate to that same feeling because his mother was so talented is nice. Thing is, just like Yu’s mom loved him for him and all his shortcomings, so to do Niko and Kazuki love their sister. Not her kissing the Yu doll omg?? Our girl is recharged, refocused and ready to go. Can’t wait for the big conclusion next week :/ |

| Miwa motivations for winning are very cute indeed. I did not expect to find out the reason behind Yuu's 'talent' for cooking, it was really touching. These cakes they made for Niko and Kazuki looked delicious. Miwa falling even more for Yuu, kissing a pastry haha. Guess the last episode of the show will also be the end of Miwa's arc, and so far it's been a very solid one, so I don't mind ending the show on that :) |

Those sweets her and Yu made looked pretty good. I like the mini Yu she made. So cute! Every episode the girls just fall harder and harder for the dude. |

Miwa imagining something naughty while walking through the love hotels with Yu π€£ππ Yu making great efforts to see his mom praise his cooking broke me to tears. That was a cute sweet made by Miwa using a marshmallow resembling Yu. We got to see a little adorable Miwa in a kuma suit π«Άπ©·π»π» I just came to know that Yu is actually older than Miwa by two years lol I always thought Miwa, Yu and Niko all were of the same age. Can't believe that there's only one episode left this season π I don't want to say goodbye |

| Blushing in this anime is nothing short of porn... Brilliant episode both Miwa and Yuu got great development. And Sakura keep pushing her stake higher each time. Fuck how the author created four amazing flawless waifus. It's really hard to keep persuing just for the glory, people do indeed burn out. Really felt for Miwa there. Yuu did well to cherr her up. Little Yuu and his mother being happy when he made her breakfast is so cute. And till death he took care of his bedridden mother and granted her wishes. Feeling inferiority to your mother is bad but still he was amazing child. They deserved betterπ₯² Miwa kissing that marshmallow Yuu is dangerously adorable scene. Nico & Kazuki fighting to see who's dessert is betterππ It's set up perfectly for Miwa to make comeback and win. I don't dislike her or anything but I really really want Sakura to pull off. I want to see the underdog win for once. This Peak will end next week :( |
| And just like that, Miwa takes the lead as my ship for Yuu & my personal fave of the sisters. The amusement park “date” was probably the funnest episode, giving everyone scenes to shine. But I honestly think this was the best episode yet for character exploration. Now I’m curious to see how the remaining match(es) with Yaotomecchi go |

| Miwa losing 2 out of her 3 title matches, that's quite unprecedented, and a shocker alright. Sakura basically wiped the floor against Miwa, and Yu finding a positive spot within the weakness sure is an angle that he only can see, that kind of pisses her off, both intellectually and (even) romantically as well. But as expected, Miwa grazing in defeat even to her other sisters is not something she can understand (after being changed by Yu), and he is the only source of help she can have. But what luck to find her in a cat cafe rather than the usual spot of under the bridge, and contemplating on her playing Shogi for fulfillment because she's made out to be just that from the influence of their accomplished father, she just wants to be like both Kazuki and Niko in their respective areas of interest. Alas, Yu taking Miwa out on a ride across the red-light district...to his usual family shopping instead, and sharing his experience on his late mother on how he picked up cooking, the house attendant has it hard too to give his mother the care she needs. And the marshmallow doll that was made for Miwa, that kiss is surely the defintion of hidden affection, not just for him, but for her other sisters as well. The final title match, and Miwa better pull her weight above all that pressure for a solid finish. |

| Yuu is a really good Tomatomancer, always making the girls blush and turns them into tomatoes. (what am I saying) Wholesome and Cute episode, the little flashback with Yuu's mom made me tear up a bit. Yuu may not be a genius and a ponkotsu on everything else, but his hard earned cooking (and cleaning) skills are worthy of praise. Miwa not being the same as her sisters when it comes to their passion huh, but the fact that she cried over losing just shows she loves what she's doing too, and even if it's just an instrument to gain praise and stand together with her sisters, there's nothing wrong with it, it's a good motivation too. Miwa's little sweets were so cute, and she kissed the one she gave Yu, it's an all out war for the sisters now! ?? Feels sorry for Sakura, but Miwa is taking back those wins (she'll love it too anyways). |

| It was a very sweet episode, but it was overshadowed by the fact that she plays shoji not for the love of the game but because she wants her father's approval. SMH I feel this is what is tainting an otherwise enjoyable romcom. |
| Yu is so persuasive with his way of saying things that it even made a cat blush. While he's average in almost anything else, it's this habit of his that makes him so enjoyable. His way of handlings things was needed again when Miwa lost to Yaotome once again at shogi, putting her 0-2 down in the best of five title match. Miwa was so pissed that she had a scowling face that made even Kazuki and Niko freeze in fear. Either way, her choice of hanging out at a cat café for comfort was an excellent choice as it gave her time to open up her emotions to Yu about how frustrated she felt. It hurts to see someone as pretty and wholesome as Miwa cry her heart out, so I'm glad that Yu went out of his way to help cheer her up. The cupcake and coffee dessert made for Niko and Kazuki respectively looks incredibly delicious. I also love how Miwa also made a cute marshmallow treat based on Yu's face before she kissed it on the forehead. It also led to a funny moment when her sisters commented on the same marshmallow Yu, mentioning about it having a receding hairline because of where she kissed on it earlier. XD I'm happy that Miwa has found her drive again to give it her all, so I do hope she can make a comeback and outright win the title match again Yaotome. It'll make for a grippy, but enjoyable final episode for sure. |

| What an absolutely fantastic episode this week :} Miwa was too good throughout this whole episode. The animators were great with their facial features and expressions in this episode as well, I think this has been a reason I enjoy this anime so much :} Once again though, Yu knows exactly what to say to help out a sister and hopefully it works and Miwa comes back to win her games next week. But the star of this week has to go to this guy:  |
