| Alicia and Rhode tag teaming against Drel looked really cool visually. The episode as a whole seemed to have been animated and directed particularly well overall compared to the rest of the episodes. Of course Clevatess would save Luna with no fail, though at this point he’s just fed up with trying to hope in anything changing for the better. I’m slightly impressed he’s put up for this long. |

| Damn, the lore just became more complicated. Clevatess is the youngest(?) of the four Demon King, while Zavtier is the oldest(?) The Hero Legend is about the True Humans and remnants of this legend are held within The Book of Tor who kept the legend alive and being the "storyteller" of the world. The current human races are an inferior species, the True Human knows of and can wield magic effortlessly. Clevatess lost interest in humanity, abandoned Luna to his fate and Dorel is basically killable, how will Alicia turn things around? We will have to wait for The Return of The King(nice reference) The ED itself is a giant spoiler, heh.  |

| I completely blanked on the fact that Drel was his sword now. So watching him reform after Rhode and Alicia worked in tandem to cut him in half was surprising! Even more surprising is that the true humans are long gone. I can't blame Klen for feeling detached by the news. |

| Some nice reveals. True humans/og humans left but where? Also I assume they were capable of using magic naturally. What's this book inside the forge. What's inside it? I'm just glad this had no scifi bs reveal. That ending scene with Klen was chilling. Is he really gonna leave Luna alone? That we'll see. |

Clevatess' troll face drips with the menace you'd expect from a demon lord and I can't get enough of it lmao. Genuinely relieved Luna didn't really make it this far to just get yeeted into the fire by grandpa though. You know a story's gripping when just being teased about its lore can make for a surprisingly intense cliffhanger. Hope this anime gets blessed by the Season 2 gods. |
| Wow, when faced with the truth of this part of the world, Clevatess slides into nihilism and just gives up on everything. Wasn't expecting that. That was one hell of a lore drop though. The hell is that book (the ED makes more sense now by the way), that it's so powerful it can control a whole bloodline? Who wrote it, the ancient humans? Why? What happened to them? There's no way we're getting any answers with only one episode left so please let this series get a second season! As for the action parts, wow again, they really went all out. Alicia's now missing a hand though, hopefully it can be reattached? I'm blanking out, we haven't seen what happens with dismemberment yet, have we, at least when it's not Clevatess himself reattaching limbs? Also, her sword can control water and there's a guy who can make ice right there. Just saying. |

| I LOVE when Crunchyroll upload the wrong fucking subs for the Clevatess episode. Small company and all that. Shame too because this was the most important episode yet, I fucking love when we get reveals in dark fantasy stories that turns the world on its head and makes everyone start questioning their purpose. This felt like some of the big AoT reveals. I never would’ve guessed that the furnace is just the manifestation of the truth essentially. The true story of the world and heroes presumably. I’m a little confused on how the fires of the furnace work though. So it has a will of its own and has guided kings for generations, but was the current king really there or was that just a pure puppet recreation from the archives of the furnace? Did the furnace genuinely intend to kill Luna or what? Why did it get upset and try to attack Klen? So I wonder if this’ll be like a Metaphor ReFantazio type situation. Maybe the true humans created the current humans and demon beasts? But why? What happened to the OG humans as well? I’m guessing magic is the missing link between the two humans. You know how mind fucked Klen of all people had to be to just drop Luna and his entire debate on wiping out humanity and just walk away? Seeing him be so lost and confused was crazy. It’s like he became a nihlist instantly and realized nothing mattered because he’s been living a lie. Said all that and didn’t even talk about the Alicia/Rhodes vs Drel Fight. Have I mentioned how good the sound design is in this series? It lends so much weight to the action and makes every fight an eargasm. Drel’s true form looks so cool too. Can’t believe we only have one episode left of anime of the season!! Season 2 please |

| Well this gives the ending sequence a whole knew meaning. To think that the book there was the book in the forge. Also who are these ancient humans Drel was talking about. Some more answers but more question hmm. I guess my thought from last episode of the king being controlled by an other dark lord was incorrect. It seems to be that book/forge instead. I hope Clevatess is not just going to walk away like that. Also Alicia's hand dang and they seem no closer to stopping Drel. |

| I don't get it? So, 1000 years ago there were OP humans with superior tech, magic and they made dark beasts too? And their tech (the book/the forge) is manipulating everyone to this day? Drel seems to want to end that. Clevatess didn't like being manipulated. Now I'm curious if those ancient humans exist somewhere else. |

| Good ep Klen clutch asl with that save, didn’t even see him do that. Drel feels unstoppable atp. Tho, this Alicia and Rhode duo goes hard. There’s sum abt the visuals that make this series look so bad, that it pisses me off idk. Like intentional dimming, grain filter of sum sort. Looks like everyone was simply pawns to the book of Toah and now Klen has given up on his goal. 9/10 |

| The idea of people going insane from discovering "the truth behind the world" feels very Lovecraftian. Also reminds me of Kumo desu ga Nani ka, where if someone gets their "Taboo" level to level 10, they're redpilled (As in the original Matrix meaning of the term) about the truth of the world. and how superior beings are behind everything. |

| Clevatess witnessing the former King of Hiden throwing Luna thrown into the furnace of the King's Forge, whose true name is Toth, Hidelius the VI, his family legacy being one who opposes the legacy of the hero in Edthea, it's such a wild theory that even Alicia and Princess T'ala admits that the history of the 13 Heroes were not what was surmised, but if there's any chance to correct history, they must be the ones who carve out this new path. And since even the former King himself is faulted to a degree, never once did Klen actually decide something that's off of his current trajectory, more than Drel coming to the forge, and Commander Royes being taken by Gart straight to the same place as well, with his Regalia. Drel's rematch against Alicia and Royes is an exercise in frustration to show more of his overwhelming power, more than his dark ichor body and sword having taken hold of his humanity to dispel the legend of the hero. On Klen's end, knowing that Luna and the headless king's sacrifices formed the Master of Forges' book that even the youngest of the Lord of Dark Beasts can decipher, destroying humanity was his calling, even then and now, but Zavthier's interpretation which gave rise to the Book of Toah, just crushed all that ambition. Now the book shown in the ED finally makes a lot of sense, and the lore has just expanded significantly. I'm not ready for the finale to come next week... |

| The legend of the heroes is nonsense, a complete sham. Clevatess' entire journey with Luna was pointless, even his desire to wipe out the hominids. Alicia's heroic quest and the death of the heroes who pursued the Magic Kings was also nonsense. Because it was all based on that book, written by the real hominids. What happened to them? What led to their extinction? Clevatess even doubted his own existence when he said he was born of chaos, just like this world. But who originally said that phrase? And apparently, there were other Magic Kings. He thought Clevatess and the other three were unique beings, not successors. In the end, Clevatess realized how ridiculous it all was. He did it out of boredom, perhaps seeking a real challenge, but he ended up abandoning everything, including his desire to destroy the hominids, after discovering the truth. All that chaos... for a damn book. But please, Klen, don't leave Luna alone. And if Dorrel, or rather Vordin, gets hold of the book, wouldn't that be a problem for Clevatess? Maybe the King of the North wants to become the sole ruler of the world. But hey, maybe that book doesn't even contain anything important. It could just be Vordin's curiosity about a legend of beings that no one has ever seen. |

So humans in this world are long gone, and the lord of dark beasts have been sort of like following some legend they made all that time ago? How is this going to end in one more episode? I really hope there's more! I need more! |
