I feel that the boss of the Hero association, where Queen and Lucky Cyan belong, is just as bad as the other Hero associations.

@Denkenisme I think she may be worst than Micky.

F the agencies.

It's always fun to watch from a different pov, Loli and Xiaoqiang are adorable, the ending always incredibly excites me.

While I'm waiting for Lianglong's theme song, can't they just release the song played on the radio please? It's been 2 weeks i'm dying to hear it, it's soooooo good omg.

Much like in the real world, politicians and companies (a.k.a. THE CAPITAL) cause all of people's problems. In a way I feel bad for Ghostblade, since his brain is clearly defective, but also fuck him for killing Sheng and probably a bunch of other innocent people. This episode was a great reminder to cherish those you love while it's possible to do so.

Someone mentioned Queen looked brainwashed and... yeah. Her eyes look vacant, kind of like when she just woke up in the hospital and wanted to go to the Tournament. I wonder if Micky is using her own beliefs to manipulate her?

It's pretty clear already that one's Trust in themselves is extremely powerful, so much so that it can be stronger than the trust value. We also know since Lin Ling's arc that one's willpower can offset the limitations imposed by the trust value that come from what others believe of you. In other words, what you believe about yourself or even your own willpower can be more powerful and affect you more than the beliefs of the majority. However, even then you're not immune to the trust value/what others think of you.

We also know from Queen's arc that this has negative effects: her rival and former X, Bowa, believed firmly that she deserved to be X and that her biggest obstacle was Queen, to the point that it affected how she processed reality (took incomplete and baseless rumors as fact, didn't even realise Queen wasn't X and that someone else defeated her, didn't realise she wasn't in the Top 10 anymore).
It might also be possible that the trust value affects the X competition somewhat, as both Bowa and Queen were unhealthy and blindly obsessed with it, and Bowa ended up manifesting Fear due to losing it. Maybe the importance the public gives to it makes it easier for some people to lose their minds over it: if you believe firmly that you can/deserve to be X and make it your life's objective, then perhaps the trust value lends itself to feed this obsession to abnormal degrees. Your negative belief + beliefs of the majority = bad (maybe even Fear).

So, after all that, I wonder if Mickey is using Queen's unstable state of mind to manipulate her? So far we know he sends her and Cyan on a trip that'll take them right to where this whole mess is, but I wonder what his objective is? What is he trying to push her towards?

That was a solid episode. Lots of recap but from different perspectives, which made it still fun to watch.

The next few episodes are shaping up to be insane. Having just about everybody in one place...

This episode highlighted how corrupt the hero association is. It seems like Rock is the CEO with all the obvious influence as he is the most open supporter of the Hero Association, but Micky is the one with all the insider connections. I also wonder where Zac and Shang fit in this puzzle. Both act as rogues, with Zac deregulating the hero market and Shang just doing his own thing, presumably to figure out who killed his son.

I also wonder why that plane went down. If Vortex, the actual X, was on the plane, how the heck did it go down? Who on earth managed to beat him? I would assume Phobiaclone / Split – the number 2 hero at the time – was involved, especially since we saw during Lucky Cyan's arc that people started talking about Fear immediately after.

Yep after last episode I knew this is how it was connected to that Queen scene. Queen and Lucky Cyan will arrive in their car now. Also so messed up now when you think Little Johnny was so trying to be so close to his father's killer. Btw the plane Vortex died, that's the one with Lucky Cyan. Holy shit man, I love this. Really curious what'll become of all this.

The first 2 arcs were mostly their own thing, but since we switched to 2D animation with Lucky Cyan's arc and onward until now, everything has been actually pretty tightly interwoven. The fear and the plane crash from Cyan's arc echo throughout. Queen and Cyan being sent on 'vacation' towards said plane crash where they'll probably encounter an enraged Johnnies and Ghostblade as well. Loli's story introducing her father and his lab and the study of fear, as well as introducing Ghostblade and his stalking of his own daughter. Ghostblade's story and Johnnies' are also closely connected because of the assassination of Johny's father. All the while the major corporations have discovered or at least are discovering something that they don't want everyone to know, hence what is most likely the silencing of heroes Sheng and Vortex. Something is obviously cooking, and I should've never doubted it.

All of this feels like its looping across every hero, Maybe the payoff is gonna be worth it. All of their origin stories are connected.

I feel like there wasn't really too much new information, with most pieces sort of just falling into place. It seems like all of the heroes are now at the alien site though, and Little Johnny might be heading for a confrontation with Ghostblade?

More dots were connected in this episode. I find it interesting when we see the same scenes but from different characters' POVs.
