The Loli and GhostBlade scenes were the best, the character development was also great! What did you think of this episode? |

If it’s for my daughter I’ll defeat even a former top ranked hero? π Ghostblade father of the year award. Do not fuck with a man’s daughter. Sliced his ass every which way but loose with a damn dinner knife. GOAT. Glad Nuonuo finally knows Ghostblade is her dad, BUT little Johnny also knows he killed his dad now.. oof. Last few minutes really puts Little Johnny’s “every time I look at you, I think of the past” in perspective. Dude was with his father’s killer this whole time helping him on missions and ironically coming to see him as a father figure. Rough. Nuonuo finding out Ghostblade’s her dad from his stalking diary is so onbrand for them lol. At least she knows all the efforts he’s gone through now, but damn at the same time it’s gotta feel horrible because she kinda brought into her mom’s badmouthing and thought he was some creepy weirdo and the whole time he just wanted to get close to her π’ Next episode is gonna be crazy. I hope Nuonuo and Ghostblade are able to get a happy ending but.. idk. Don’t know how everyone comes out of this alive and we haven’t even got to the aliens yet π |

Some of the comedy in this episode kind of hid the gut punch it delivered at the end. Did he have to leave for good? Is he infected by Fear now just when she knows he's her Father? And now the paths connect, near that alien wreck! |

The misunderstanding kept getting out of hand but he stood firm to his beliefs and protected her. Surprised by how good Ghostblade character turned out to be. Nuonuo also found out about him. Did Ghostblade get affected by fear there though? Also Little Johny missing, he's a spy? Another cliffhanger. |

For me this is tied with Lin Ling's arc the second best arc of the show after E-Soul's. DJ Shindig got defeated rather easily. I guess Ghostblade is that much stronger than Loli. Seems like this will be connect to Little Johnny's arc. I'm thinking Ghostblade got corrupted by fear after killing Shindig. Based off the end of Queen's arc it doesn't look like Little Johnny is faring any better. By the looks of it we might have a battle between Ghostblade/Little Johnny and Queen/Cyan. |

While a bit misguided I like how earnest Ghostblade is. Hopefully the forbidden dark chocolate doesn't ruin him. |

It was nice of Shindig to show up for round two. His new fear power to induce sadness into others gave everyone a much needed opportunity to get some heavy feelings off their chest. Still, he proved to be a bad match up for the emotionally subdued Ghostblade. He's a top hero for a reason. Little Johnny has gotten pretty close to driving Ghostblade up the wall this episode. I'm curious to see if that'll keep happening now that Ghostblade has come into contact with a bit of fear, or if maybe the shoe ends up on the other foot. Things could get pretty ugly again if Ghostblade is responsible for him becoming an orphan. |

Ghost Blade's arc has been one of the best arcs so far, maybe only behind Linling and E-Soul's. The arc beautifully illustrates what fatherhood traditionally means and what is expected from men: to hide their pain, put a brave face on, and keep walking. I really empathize with him. Besides that, it was funny to see Ghost Blade and Little Johnny alone, and the comedy scenes were very refreshing. I expect to see Little Johnny consumed by fear and awaken to the fact that Ghost Blade was responsible for his parents' death, and possibly a redemption arc for Ghost Blade for both being a distant father and the assassin of Little Johnny's parents. And... Finally we're getting the heroes together! Maybe from now on we'll understand how the Top 10 are connected and why Linling was kinda isolated from them. Maybe they'll give us more of Nice? That would be cool, and might explain why they didn't remove Nice from the popular vote ranking. |

While it was nice to see everyone being open about their families, I should have clocked that the extra emotional aspect of it was "fear" being in the air due to DJ Shindig. Good confirmation that Loli is affected by fear outside of the suit. I had wondered if she had any lingering immunity since she wears it and it was of her creation. I do like the intermingling of multiple characters that this mini-adventure provided. All things considered, Ghostblade is a good dude. |

Ok we got more set up and stuff. Ghostblade got rid of the DJ guy but the fear also touched him...I wonder how that will affect him? More importantly though where's the Johnnies? Looks like everything is leading up to the cliffhanger on queens last episode. Glad Nuonuo found out Ghost blade is her dad and saw how much he cares for her through his uh observation diary I guess. Kinda wished we got more time with Ghost blade and his daughter but I guess it is what it is. We got limited time with each character. Also This ep we get to see multiple heroes together which is always nice to see. |

It wasn't only that the episode itself that was peak but it made me realize why it was decided to start of with Lou Li's arc after Queen's instead of who we would have thought it would be (Little Johnny). |

For episode 16, the first 15 minutes were filled with quite entertaining comedy—this might be the first time I’ve really noticed the comedic side of To Be Hero X. Seeing the interaction between the cold and stoic Ghostblade and the cheerful Little Johnny was pretty funny. (I’m curious what would happen if Little Johnny found out that the one who killed his father was actually Ghostblade—even though Ghostblade was just carrying out a mission. The Hero Association truly feels like a menace in this universe.) There was another funny moment with the misunderstanding where Ghostblade was mistaken for a stalker who had feelings for Nounou (when in fact, she’s his daughter). Then, the atmosphere suddenly shifted into something more mellow—it turned out to be caused by the fear particles. Watching how incredible Ghostblade was, defeating Shindiq who was infused with those fear particles, and doing so with nothing but a kitchen knife, made for an amazing fight scene. At the end, Little Johnny disappears? Did he go with Ghostblade to investigate the origin of the fear particles? |

Ghostblade has become my favourite character so far, his pov is so entertaining to see lol and that cold at action scene was also good. He killed without any mercy. But that fear particle entered in him, well that would be a bad sign. Glad to see nuonuo came to know he is her father! |

for me the story of the last 4 characters feels mid like a story that is not very good and is helped by good animation and direction unlike the first 2 characters which are very good in terms of story, animation, voice and direction. In addition, the unique animation in the story of the first 2 characters has completely disappeared making me quite disappointed. |

can we say it was the funniest episode of the series so far ? poor Ghostblade I laughed so much when Loli’s dad was trying to help him to hit on his daughter , glad that Nuonuo discovered he’s her dad in the end . Kinda nice episode, but I HATED the "Ghostblade getting infected with Fear particle" at the end. Like, bitch, can't you be more careful? Sigh. This is such a trope. Also, I really hope this anime starts connecting the dots now, bringing back the heroes from the beginning, otherwise I'll rate this show very lowly for being a disjunct mess |

Ghostblade paired with Little Johnny for comedic effect, contrasting mute moody guy with cheerful goofball. Most of the episode keeps a lighthearted tone with jokes built around misunderstanding Ghostblade's relationship with his daughter. All fun and games get interrupted by a suspicious purple mist affecting all campers emotionally. Ghostblade minces the source of the mist with a knife, but ends up infected by liquid "fear" at the last moment. No matter what happens to him, his daughter found Dad's diary with evidence of what's previous "stalking" was really about. Solid episode with an intriguing cliffhanger. It seems like Queen and Cyan were driving nearby same area, which explains why glowing, alien-looking monster in the vicinity. Something crazy is about to go down(After Little Johnny's backstory). |

Good ep Sadly worse than the 1st ep, but man is the johnnies talkative. Even Ghostblade is annoyed to the point that he wants to speak. Not Luo thinking Ghostblade likes them young. Bro should have whipped out his phone to communicate. Ghostblade swiftly cooked Fear affected DJ, but the more important thing is that his daughter realized who he was before he could disappear. Onto the johnnies arc. Maskless kakashi looking ahh 9/10 |

MY COLOR MENTIONED!!! (It's just too perfect for this one whole plot since Cyan's) - The song Luo heard from his Dad, and then he added the lyrics for Cyan to sing it, I interpreted that song as it means 'I'll watch over you', from Luo to Cyan and a song of a parent to their child. - And now we have this parent-child relationship between Loli and her father, Ghostblade and Nuonuo, and even Little Johnny and his parents (possibly Sheng) So the song kinda hits hard whenever I hear it during these characters episodes. Little Johnny telling Ghostblade about his past, I wonder when will it click with him, or if they will ever know their connections. It's funny how Loli's father thought Ghostblade has it for Nuonuo lol, of course he loves her! But not in the way you think haha What a dinner table of complicated relationships. And Nuonuo finally learned the truth, that the stalker– Ghostblade is her father, just watching over her... I feel bad for Ghostblade for not being able to talk and just directly say it to her :< , It's also cute how Ghostblade ate the squid/octopus? so Nuonuo can avoid it. I don't like that Fear going inside Ghostblade, please don't lose yourself to that thing. And Little Johnny is nowhere to be seen, it's possible for the fear to affect him and go berserk. Queen and Cyan is also on their way for vacation! The Dog Kaiju that we've seen at the end of Queen's arc. It's converging, we're reaching the point where all these heroes are gathering together. |

@gorkthe134th I thought I was the crazy one for not really enjoying it. It makes it super frustrating to know the answer that the characters themselves keep dancing around. And double frustrating because Ghostblade can’t speak and explain himself at all (?) Another thing I’m not really a fan of is the whole “if this touches you, you’re corrupted!” trope. Ghostblade doesn’t deserve such a thing to happen to him and who could overcome the fear bubbles touching them if the corrupted ones literally explode after they’re killed, getting the fear substance EVERYWHERE. |
