Nothing like starting off the day with tears in my eyes. Oh my God, I would’ve been happy with just Fernand finally standing up to and confronting Julius, but the last 6-7 minutes were a waterworks fest 😭 If there was ever ANY doubt about the Adenauers being irredeemable it’s gone now. Mia, Philia AND Hilde deserve their revenge and it’ll be glorious to see.

So much respect to Fernand for fighting through his illness and fear to go to the board meeting and tell Julius off. The little bitch hasn’t had anyone stand up to him in ages so seeing him get all angry and quivering was brilliant. Of course like the scared bum he is, he blames Mia and her family who he’s literally conspiring with for the situation. Accusing Mia of “treason” is hilarious.

“Let’s make it official, will you fight with me?” So yea my Fernand and Mia ship is coming along very well. It’s gonna be so funny/satisfying when Mia becomes queen and banishes Julius and her parents.

It’s insane how gorgeous all the women in this series are. The mattilas sisters are absolutely stunning. 😍 illustrator was in his bag.

THE LAST 5 MINUTES ARE INSANE?!! I’m so glad they removed any doubt about Marquis Adenauer being pure evil. No sad backstory, no attempt to make him relatable, nope. He’s just been a jealous evil demon since childhood. It makes things more interesting too. Spreading lies about your own sister and then taking her kid is CRAZY. But I’m kinda confused on why Hilde let that happen like surely she’s strong enough to have just fought him off? Everyone saw her pregnant and no one saw the Marquess pregnant so..? Either way, death is too good a punishment for him and I hope it’s painful.

“You take my kid I take yours” basically lmao. God I was in tears hearing Philia’s letter to Mia though. Even with everything she’s been through, including the things she doesn’t know, she’s still mainly worried about her little sister. What an incredibly strong woman I love her so much. And we didn’t even talk about the demon realm coming! Ah I could yap all day about this series I really love it!
@Marinate1016 the most realistic part is when parent finally had a child , the foster one is undoubtly will be left beside , i saw this event with my friend . thats last even make me want to know how my friend is doing well

That explains why Mia's parents were mistreating Philia. She's not their real daughter. Still, it doesn't make them any less lame as villains.

I would rather they speed up Mia's revenge so we can focus on the demon realm threat, which seems to be the meat of the story.

I love the oldest sister, Emily, she’s trying so hard to act cool but you can see right through her act 😭

Fernand did such a good job at standing up against his annoying brother.

Now I understand why Philia’s parents hated her so much. She’s not related to them and only took her to benefit from her.

The bond between two sisters is truly a beautiful and magically thing. :’) this shit made me tear up

It made a lot of sense now that we know Phillia's background... to see how her "parents" treated her and they were more loving with Mía.

DAmn......that hit me right in the FEELS....Starting from that first "Your parents already stole my daughter" through the whole explanation was like.....wow can't even put it into words.

Sorry Mia, your parents are **** and I will thoroughly enjoy seeing them get what they deserve (along with Julius of course).

It also completely explains why Hildegarde was so tough on Philia....ugh....I think I need sometime to recover my feels now...excuse me....T_T

Holy moly, what a plot twist! Did not see that coming at all and here I thought Mia's parents couldn't get any worse. I stand corrected. They are horrible people. I feel so sorry for Hilde and for Mia too who has to carry the burden of knowing this truth now as well. 😢

One of the best anime airing this season, and I think this season is stacked.

Episodes 7 and 8 have been exceptionally amazing. And of course, Yui Ishikawa and Kaede Hondo are doing great work with the lead heroines. Can't praise this anime enough.

TBH, Mia is just trying to recover the kingdom while taking revenge for her sister.

But she's indirectly causing the 1st prince to fall for her... lol

However... what exactly is the plan here? what are you trying to expose? When majority of the Royals already knows what kind of person the 2nd prince is... AND still follows the 2nd prince's command anyways...

Expose him to the public? the one where 80% of the people in the kingdom already hate Philia anyways? LOL... (the only ones that like Philia as we've seen in flashbacks is the kids, literally just the kids... nearly all adults in that shitty kingdom hates Philia and is glad she's gone)

(also, what the fuck is the 2nd Prince going on about? Branding Philia as a traitor? what's that going to do? there's no way the other country is going to let the shitty country touch Philia... unless the 2nd Prince is going to declare war on the other country? lol... the shitty country's military forces is already dwindling due to the monsters overrunning them, the other country would just steamroll the shitty country over, LOL)

.

BTW, I just noticed...

All the Saints in each country... all have the exact same color scheme huh? The shitty country is all purple hair + purple outfit, while the other country is all brown hair + pink outfit, LOL.

Going by this... does this mean that a person is determined to be the Saint of a country... based on their hair color? LOL

.

And... yup... Philia's Master (mom) gone through almost the same shit they gave to Philia...

But it still makes me question... WHY... does the Saints that gets betrayed... always stay in the shitty country and not move out? And... WHY... didn't the king do anything to protect the Saints? This happened before he got sick, it's before the 1st prince is even born... Since I am sure 1st prince and Philia is near the same age. (and this happened before Philia was born)

In fact... the whole reason Philia's Master lost Philia to began with is... cause she didn't move out and ended up with Philia being taken... I am pretty sure if she had moved away, this while thing wouldn't have happened.

.

Mia learning the truth was sad tho, but as the Master said, this is her revenge. Which is legit and a well deserved one, especially since it's actually beneficial for Mia to be "taken away" by the Master.

For a minute, I thought Auntie Hild had a similar "vibe" or personality to Phillia-chan. What a bomb of a twist for it to be her mother. It makes sense why Mia's parents treated Phillia so damn ruthlessly in the past.

Also, Prince Fernand's appearance in that meeting was satisfying. I just hope he'll be safe against any possible assassination or poisoning, you know. He's got plenty of people on his side, though.
Respectfully ofc

This episode highlighted all the family bonding focal points of the anime to a T. The way that Mia and Auntie bonded after she found out the truth was so heart warming and also served to show the real purpose of why she trained Phillia so hard.

What stood out to me even more was the bonding between prince ferdanand and Phillia, the way that he recognizes shes struggling just as much as him and used that to serve as the catalyst for his growth and stepping into the role as prince.

The last minutes really touched my heart, When Hilde told the truth, my hatred for Adenauer was at its peak. That family has no goodness in it, I want this family to be completely destroyed!! And my tears continued to peak when I saw how Philia expressed her affection for Mia, how rotten their family was, Mia and Philia could still feel the warmth between them.

Mia barely survives with help from Pierre and the others, like her Aunt Hildegard who has to come out of her retirement to help with her saintly duties.

With exorcist Erza finally coming to meet Philia to warn her about the Demon Realm and its leader of archdemon Asmodeus warranting her, there's no time to waste double-downing on sealing the Demon Realm ASAP. Meanwhile, Mia having to clear her way out of the arrogant nobles who disregard Fernand, him making a surprise appearance in front of Julius and the other nobles to force their hand, especially towards his younger brother despite his still-recovering wavering spirit...and yet, despite his pieas, the younger brother now going after the Adenauers to reconcile back their prestiges, what a roundabout way of doing it.

Grace going to the Mattilas Family with the eldest Emily, middle child Amanda and youngest Jane, the sisters are beautiful no doubt, though it's their magic boosted by Philia's knowhow on the Magic Convergence Spell that transcends even the eldest's jealousy on the greatest Saint. However, more than Marquis Pryz from Julius's faction having his secret meeting with information for Mia, it's Hildegard meeting her to put the facts onto the strategy table between Fernand and Julius's factions, as well as adopting a younger sister like her.

The bombshell with Philia being Hildeguard's daughter, wed to the man who lost his life against the head of the household who's become evil and desperately wanting a daughter to instill confidence into the family, this has been the revenge of her lifetime, that Mia is one reason why things have stood this way being from her brother's family line. Yet, the two seemingly unconnected cousin families coming together, with Philia's reassurance that Mia is just like her very own sibling sister.

Sure, Philia may have gotten flack because of Mia, but they're still close related relatives.
A destitute family coming together to alleviate the hardest of times, the righteous side of the Adenauer family still holds on.

I really didn’t see it coming... That reveal about Philia’s aunt😭😭😭 they both suffered so much

I just... I couldn’t hold back my tears at the end...

Philia… even without smiling or showing her emotions, I know she was suffering so much inside.

Misunderstood... rejected...

She went through everything in silence. She’s incredible. I love her.

If they're just cousins, I guess that opens up a new romance route... I jest.

A much better episode than I expected, though the reveal wasn't that much of a surprise given the resemblance. Also, a great ED really shines following a scene like that.

If I was Mia, I wouldn't even have asked Hilde for more info or an explanation after she offered to adopt me. I would've just said, "Let me get my things and let's go and you can explain on the way" :P

I knew it...kinda. Philia resembles her aunt than her trash parents so I had my suspicions that she could be the real mother. The trash father stole Hilde's daughter, now this time it's Hilde's turn to steal Mia away from the trash parents.

Damn. The Asmodeus loves the Arch saint and it's inside Philia.

Hoping the crown prince gets better and better so he can kick that trash prince's butt out of the kingdom along with those ally nobles soon.

Philia starting to get like the prince and the maid sees this and it's excited. lol

Another episode of useless Mia. "I won't let the one fighting on the front line get hurt!" moments before she...does absolutely nothing as her sister is being accused of "treason" LOL I'm starting to question whether she's just trolling everyone including the viewers and are actually on the second prince's side at this point. She talks sweet, and pretend like she is actively taking action but takes no actual action to change/improve things. Almost like a demon whispering sweet things, but secretly steering things towards the worst outcome. I know, I'm only half serious about this but it sure as hell feels like it's true. Nine wholeass episodes and still no revenge in sight, still meekly obeying the second prince while working as a saint (read slave) for those same people.

We find out Philia is not actually the daughter of those...things. Crazy that she let her baby just get taken away and didn't take more drastic action though. Does she not love her baby enough to put her life on the line to get her back? They just sit there and take it, while still working as a "saint" (read slave) to the very people that are stabbing them. I feel like my brain cells are getting deleted the more they reveal about this situation.

Julius is such a sore loser.
And that was quite the bombshell her aunt shared with her about Philia's background. Now it makes sense why her parents disregarded her so much & treated her like trash, but now Mia's folks are facing karma coz the prince they're supporting is actually a greedy coward.
