Jordan's character was fighting his brother. Really intense stuff. So I yell at the mother "Quiet down that baby or I'll quiet the baby for you!" This of course did not lead to a pleased reaction, so now the theater was dealing with an angry mother, a crying baby, and people gossiping very loudly in the background. This stressed me out so I took a restroom break and slit someone's throat in stall 4 to relieve some stress. Then I came back with popcorn and was right on time to see the vampire get hit by the guitar. Great stuff. Anyway this reminded me of that because if you think about it, Michael B. Jordan helped kill a lot of people in that movie. Yes they had become vampires, but they had clearly retained their personalities. Yes, they were going to bite them, but this was not going to lead to their deaths. They were trying to give them eternal life! Shouldn't someone have at least reported those killings to the authorities? |

Now on other hand if they are posting pics of a body, have the name of the victim being an actual missing person then you can be suspicious. I used to know a guy elsewhere I still kind of wonder about but he was both highly manipulative and a chronic liar.

| @MissHeed Yeah I dont remember the details though I just remember impression of being troubled and lonely. It was from a thread we did years back for anonymous confessions where people would message volunteers to relay what they said into the thread with no info who it came from. We had a full conversation and nothing sounded overly cliche or too weird like a troll would do. Unfortunately I think a rogue mod deleted the thread years after it was made even though it had so many replies and everyone was being helpful in responses to confessions, since i hadnt found it when i tried looking and couldnt find anything, was in forum games. I was being ambiguous because I dont quite recall for sure if it was a guy or girl but also making it more impossible to guess and because for that line i only had to say it once. I would have just picked one if i had to repeat |

In this scenario, I’m not sure if they’re joking, so I’d still report it. Yes, if it was someone I personally knew, then I’d speak with them directly instead of the police
| @TrillJessie As I said in an earlier post, you likely can't open a criminal case just because someone said online even if reported. That only counts if it ties to an already existing investigation of some kind or if it is video or photographic evidence or something. With no ties to any investigation then it won't even be looked into or if it is then you could be putting someone at risk of losing their livelihood over nothing more than a non serious comment since being in the penal system will cause problems for them and people close to them even if later found innocent. Instead you should try to inquire more details from them till it reaches a level it seems like it is likely true and that you understand the motive. Even then they likely are from a different country than you and police dont always relay this information. You'd more likely find an actual murderer at a truck stop in the US. The FBI concluded there is potentially hundreds of serial killer truckers. |

I did just read your earlier posts in this thread, and that experience you had was really interesting. You definitely know more about the policy than me. My sister had all of her private information online hacked by someone, and the police didn’t investigate, so I do know that they only open up cases when they have enough evidence. In an online space, I just hope people are joking, and even then, I don’t think it’s funny to say you’re a murderer. I’m not likely to ask someone who claims that they murdered someone for more details. I don’t want to be that involved, and that’s why I would rather inform the police as a tip. I do live in the US and was planning on reading a book about those truck cases. It’s scary, but worth being aware of. |
