Season 1 for sure, I don’t resonate with the “I have no enemies” thing in season 2, especially not when the best they can do to reinforce it is a one-sided slugfest in which the one person somehow half dodges everything. Felt way too fake.

It was better in season 1 when pacifism was shown to be an admirable but fatal ideal. In the real world, pacifism as a universal good only works if you convince everyone, now and in the future, that they should be a pacifist. When facing a violent foe, someone that labels you an enemy even if you won’t do the same, nonviolence is usually not the correct answer.

wait till you see part 3 and especially part 4 animated, they are even better than the second part.

The miserable slavecore of season 2 was unnerving and the MC turned into an obedient sheep. I don't like pacifist ideas, we are not bonobos. So S1 it is.

Kinda insane it only took Muslims a decade to occupy Iberia, but it took Catholics centuries to reconquer Iberia.

I am not a foreign heroine addict. I only ended up reading them due to Japanese sites algorithms, these 2 sites to be exact~

I don't only read sci-fi LNs, I also watch sci-fi anime and manga~
I barely discuss sci-fi anime and manga on MAL because sci-fi fans on MAL are very elitist. :(

And I also read fantasy LNs, ranging from psychological to mystery to gore~



Not really. I studied mechanical engineering and currently working as a software engineer~

I only learn some basic history on Roman Empire, Socrates, Industrial Revolution and our own local history in school.
Not sure why enrolling in the top engineering university in Asia requires me to learn these basic history~

I sometimes read history books for fun~

I studied in the top engineering university in Asia, not the best university in Asia~
Peking University is not the best university in Asia, it is National University of Singapore, but it is not considered an engineering university~

And I don't study in Peking University. And I am not the top student at the school I studied in.

We only learnt basic history, such as fall of Roman Empire due to barbaric raids, or the Industrial Revolution due to England being rich in coal~
