Her character arc is essentially loving a bad boy who tried to kill her while learning healing and being a far less interesting character than Tsunade that outshines her almost every time. Her biggest defense is she is hot enoughto get good fanart. Honorable mentions Rudeus Greyrat (Mushoku Tensei) Pretty much a lolicon to harem king plot Tamaki (Fire Force) Scares the tourists away from fanservice with ecchi. | This poor boy. He was hated everywhere outside of the Japanese fandom at the time of airing. The wanton hatred of Suzaku could be seen anywhere Code Geass was discussed. The way things were was that anyone who opposed Lulu had to be executed, and his role as a foil to Lelouch won him the #1 spot on the fandom chopping block. I'm not sure how the modern fan sees him and his character, but a quick google and look at the websites most people use nowadays, and they're still calling him all kinds of things. |

This poor boy. He was hated everywhere outside of the Japanese fandom at the time of airing. The wanton hatred of Suzaku could be seen anywhere Code Geass was discussed. The way things were was that anyone who opposed Lulu had to be executed, and his role as a foil to Lelouch won him the #1 spot on the fandom chopping block.

| @CC I did not know he was hated so much back then, despite Code Geass being my all time favourite. I watched it years later for the first time, 2014-2015 I think, and never interacted much with the fandom. So this is probably the reason why this is news to me. If I remember correctly Shuu from Guilty Crown got some hate back in the day. But I do not think he surpasses Rudeus. |

My vote is otherwise on this fuck, Inaho Kaizuka. He is the epitome of an emotionless character, which is not a bad thing by itself, except the fact that he's ridiculously OP from the get-go for no good reason at all. Also cops out death because why the hell not??? Stupid-ass, hate him so much. Not sure how others feel but this was just another terrible anime (or one that had potential then got ruined completely) in the mech genre (and yes, I hate Shinji in Evangelion too). Honestly, you could argue the princess, Asseylum Vers Allusia, is the #1 hated because of how much of an imbecile she is, and Slaine too due to the plot (those who know, know) and obsession with said princess, but IMO Slaine was easily the best character other than the instructor, Koichiro Marito, who genuinely had a great story for a side character. Just that Slaine's potential had to be tied to the plot, honestly he was the driving force for the plot in S2, which worked well until they fucked it up for everyone (he should've been the sole survivor but noooo). Either way, I remember when finishing S2 that my older bro who watched it with me rage talked about it for 3-4 hours straight past midnight. Absolutely. Ludicrous. That anime/ending was. |

| Everyone loves to hate on Rudeus Greyrat or Kazuya from Kanokari. I actually like both of them though. Two of the better male leads out there imo. Now who I really don't like is Natsuki Subaru. Not even watching him suffer so much is enough to make his character any less unbearable. |
| The classic answer to this is Lynn Minmei from the Macross franchise. Partially for being on the "wrong" side of a love triangle, partially for being whiny/bratty. And she came off worse in the Robotech dub that many viewers saw back in the day, due to significant rewrites and poor acting/singing. The 2000s redub didn't seem to redeem her all that much, despite being voiced in English by her Japanese VA. Although there are more recent re-interpretations of her character arc. |

(first character that came to mind) I had no clue Rudeus was so hated until I read this thread lol, I was under the impression that he was a well-liked character. |
