As compared to Philia's old homeland, the Kingdom of Parnacorta is SO welcoming towards her.

Philia expecting herself to be the same wallflower as she is, the 2nd Prince Osvalt and Bishop Bjorn being appreciative of her because they just lost their Saint, and she's there more than just to fill the missing slot for their kingdom, but to try learning to love their country as well. Along with the Crown Prince Reichardt, Philia gets a restart at life, with maid Leno and butler Leonardo assisting her, though being at the heart of the capital city which warrants the frequency of monsters, that's what Philia decides to engage with first to allay the fears of the townsfolk.

Philia having to do things unorthodox as compared to her time in Gritonia, but then also do things her standard way as she always does with her pillars which form the barrier, both servants certainly had their work cut out for them having to bear the brunt of it all, even on the first day of their work. Still, both maid and butler teaching her the betterment of work-life balance, though the saint herself would not just listen, which ended up benefitting everyone.

With her sister gone, Mia has to role model herself without Philia around, and Girtonia is now facing the karma they did not expect to get.

WON's ED is beautiful, and the song decent.

Mia better learns the truth sooner or later, because this will greatly affect her as well.

I'm just really glad mia isn't one of those b*tchy sisters we see in other media similar to this. I always hate when that happens.

Mia is a real one goes to show they really are sisters...but i'm having my doubts those are their actual parents and with a line like that they're gonna regret selling off Philia

battle maids and butlers cool! was less impressed by her OP-ness but how much of a workaholic she is lol

When I saw the butler and maid following her as she was about to erect the barriers, I thought to myself, "it'd be awesome if they somehow were warrior butler and maids, but this show wouldn't possibly do that, would they?" and yet they did! I chuckled. I like this anime so far. I hope we one day see Saint Philia smile happily.

I enjoyed this episode much better than the first one. Probably because the ridiculously exaggerated villains had so little screen time in this one. Though, when the father and ex-fiance did appear, it didn't take two seconds before I was rolling my eyes and just wishing for them to get the hell off my screen, lol.

I’m so pleased to see that Mia is both of pure heart regarding her sister and that she is not the typical fool. Mia knows the bond they have and I’m glad she has already deduced that she is being lied too. It’s such a breath of fresh air from a narrative standpoint. Given how fast things are already deteriorating in the Kingdom with Philia gone for just a short while and that obviously the Prince and those around him are fools. Or have other goals in mind behind the scenes to ruin the kingdom (sickly King whom has been poisoned, etc). I would expect two things to happen quickly, first Mia will begin to be abused for being “inferior” or something similar causing future plot points and hopefully the sisters reunion, second a brutal collapse of the kingdom with a massive civilian revolt.

So far a cute and relaxing show, I look forward to when Philia both comes to understand that her new home truly wants her there and when she is finally able to smile knowing she is loved.

I got hooked from the beginning of episode one. The way Mia reacted to her sister suddenly leaving her home is how I imagine common-sense people would react.

I love all the characters. I look forward to how this story develops and whether Philia feels loved in her new environment.

This degree of antagonistic nature from her home country's prince and parents is what you'd expect out of some hella edgy story like Failure Frame.
I was looking forwards to this episode because we'd get to see what her life from now onwards, but the story still didn't show anything interesting. It was nice tho, i guess. Only thing that might have me check out ep3 is to see what Mia's up to.

if Mia is actually intelligent and doesn't just take things as they come, or wait for someone to save her, I'll be instantly way more interested in the half of the story going on back there. otherwise it'd be a very non compelling, predictable b plot

my hope is rising...

Getting tired of all the typical FLs who are like "I was never treated like this back home" and not realizing its because now they have people who care about them. Ahhhh

She's OP its kinda crazy.

Lena's voice is kinda annoying, but she's so cute.

I can't believe Mia is clueless about how much her parents hated Philia. Kinda hilarious that the country is falling apart now that Philia's gone.

Philia's old kingdom thought they were scamming Parnacorta, but they were actually selling a valuable asset for a discount. Philia's actual value deserves at least 10 times of what Parnacorta paid for, and now the old kingdom is suffering, which it rightfully deserves.

I'm enjoying this more for the amazing abilities of Philia.

But as a romance and one that's too similar to My Happy Marriage, this is a failure, which is something I can overlook.

BTW... I wonder what even happened to Saint Elizabeth (the previous Saint)... how did she die?

And there's barely people mourning for her, whereas it looks like a lot are instantly change to welcome Philia and forgetting about the previous saint.

.

Not to mention... the old country is apparently lying to Mia and making it sound like Philia is to be blamed and it was her "decision" to leave.

Meaning Mias now has a mindset that her sister is the "enemy".

Which means my previous theory might be right... as the 2 countries might actually end up going to war with each other and have Mia fight with Philia.

awhhhh made me teary eyed how they instantly knew that she wasn't treated fairly at the old kingdom (thank goodness for no long, drawn out plot to get here).

little sis loves older sis! love the dynamic between the two

hoping for some action in this series as well! and development in romance!

Philia's not used to being looked after or helped; her old kingdom treated her poorly. I'm glad that Mia knew her older sister well enough to not think Philia was really a heartless person, but she needs to see behind the mask her parents and the prince are wearing to know who drove her older sister away.

And the former fiance deserved that karma after mistreating his former fiancee & selling her off to another kingdom who is now prospering while his suffers lol

I was really annoyed at how dumb the initial setting was in episode 1 and how it made no sense that she contributed so much while being literally hated by everyone. Like, how do you have the title of greatest saint while the entire populace, parents, and royal family want to get rid of you? Also, why would you not continue using her instead of selling her off? It's not like her title doesn't make clear how useful she is...I only kept going because it was obvious things were going to be different in the new place.

But while watching this episode, another thing that had bothered me and I managed to pinned down this episode is...Mia, the supposed "nice" sister who loves our MC...or does she really? How can she be so oblivious to how hostile everyone is to her beloved sister? Even if you somehow stayed so oblivious for years despite the open hostility everyone shows to her sister, her chit chat with the villagers regarding the present she got and how she intentionally hid who gave it to her made is pretty clear that she is well aware that the populace don't see her sister in a positive light. If so, how can she sit there and smile and chit chat with the people who are treating her most beloved person so terribly? It makes no sense at all.

We also see from this episode that our MC was well overworked and had to work from early to night every single day, but that would mean that her sister is obviously slacking off in turn. You can say that the sister is just that dumb and oblivious like the rest of the kingdom, but can you really say she is actually nice and actually cared for her sister if she failed to notice or act when her sister is being treated with such hostility and also even taking on work that is clearly well beyond what she herself is doing?

So you're telling me Mia totally has never realized how everyone's behaviour towards her sister to make her so unwelcomed at her own country? All the menace especially from the parents? Sure Philia left unwillingly but all the sad thoughts she had... How can she not notice the surrounding towards someone you love and admire the most? Especially the gossips and badmouthing are literally everywhere. Well, unless she stays at her house most of the time..

I'm just happy for Philia to have a new place that she can see as soon-to-be-called home

The author clearly went overboard with the contrast. The villains are here and the good guys are there.
