That mad scientist or whatever was just a fodder, so yeah, if anything I’m just glad they didn’t waste half an episode with Sakamoto and Shin trying to get past him, alone. The bit about Shin’s backstory and the lab was a nice addition to all of it, as again, the stuff with the typical bad guy would’ve become really stale if we covered only that part and then proceeded. The main stuff I was looking forward to was seeing Osaragi and Shishiba cleaning the floor off those random thugs, but yeah, that stuff was just too little to make any impression of.

Just a good old reunion of Sakamoto with order members in the end, sigh. I think that’s how it was in the manga as well, so can’t help much. Osaragi seeing him as a teddy bear was absolutely wild tho lmao. Now, they’d wrap this up in the next episode I feel, as the whole gang's here.. I mean Heisuke wasn't left out after all. I don't remember Kashima being such a menace btw. Guys looks like a discounted Hyakkimaru xD

We got a pretty nice casual interaction between Sakamoto and two order members. Osaragi thinks Sakamoto is just a cute teddy bear lol. We also got a freak that's got a bunch of weapons in his body. Shin vs the invisible guy with Heisuke helping at the end.

We also learned how Shin got his powers. Basically Luffy eating a devil fruit

We got Shin's backstory and how he got his powers. Shin is a nice kid. And, the fight has started with the bad guys. Sakamoto and Shin fought that mad scientist very creatively. But, now Shin is on his own facing the Invisible kid while Heiksuke comes to the rescue in the end.

As for Sakamoto, he is fighting the Reindeer and we also saw two members of the Order. Osaragi thinks Sakamoto as a Teddy Bear. LOL. But, looks like she underestimates him since she hasn't seen him fight and she's the newest in the Order.

I miss the super wide eyed reactions that are frequent in the manga, they almost never appear in the anime and that's a bit of a disappointment. This episode was great tho, is the subway fight gonna be already in the next ep?

Yea idc what anyone says about the animation this show is so fun. Another awesome episode.

Shin’s backstory did not go the way I expected, thought he was used as a lab rat or something and turns out his dumbass just thought a test tube was water 😂 think it’s pretty normal for people to be uncomfortable being around someone who can read their thoughts so I don’t blame the scientists. It’s great that he’s come to appreciate his powers though!

They certainly came in clutch today during that fight against the doctor, communicating his moves to Sakamoto telepathically to avoid the punches was awesome! Also sweet that the scientists apologised for how they reacted back in the day, that was nice.

Osaragi in action finally!! Been in love with her ever since I started seeing fanart of her on Twitter a couple years ago. Hayamin was born to play these shy assassin roles. Looks like reindeer guy will be a little more trouble than they thought though. Even if he’s not that strong, being essentially immortal is a challenge. Can’t wait to see what Sakamoto cooks up.

Sniper boy coming up clutch to save Shin too! Respect. This is why you make friends with other assassins!

The driver dude being sorta forced into being Lu and the director's buddy even if just for the prison break is hilarious. Got a feeling there's more to him than how seemingly incompetent he's being made out to be.

Of all the things that finally breathed life into Osaragi's dead eyes, it had to be Sakamoto's chubbiness lmao

Well, well. Seba & Shin is somehow a good match. tho, Shin might be in a slight disadvantage.

We learned more about Shin's past. I'm actually kinda glad that Shin's psychic powers weren't the result of unethical human experiments but a complete accident. It makes the scientist dudes not guilty. But they did treat him quite harshly after he got his powers so there's that. But at least Shin was a good guy who didn't hold any grudge against them. Well, apart from him becoming a killer for hire.

The fight scenes of this episode were good. Both the one with Nagumo and the creepy reindeer guy. Shin vs invisible asshole was good too. Surprised to see Heisuke joining the fight. I guess he's now kind of part of the main character after all?

Osaragi and Shishiba are on mutual terms with Sakamoto? Huh. Osaragi thinking of Sakamoto like a teddy bear is funny lol. Ig despite being a murderer she still has a huge innocent side to her.

Wait, the ED changed back to the old one? I guess the last ED was just for that episode.

the fights were pretty underwhelming, maybe because they are good at what they do.

It's nice to learn about Shin's backstory and learn how he got his power.

I keep waiting for Lu and others to show up to join them, but I guess we will have to wait till next ep.

The method Sakamoto and Shin used to take out the mad scientist was smart, glad that creep got taken out. It was also nice to see the scientists apologize for how they treated Shin in the past.

Some fun interactions between Sakamoto, Shishiba, and adorable Osaragi, and it's awesome to see Heisuke with the clutch assist to help out Shin.

What I said earlier might or might not have been serious. If it felt like a personal attack, the best move is to either ignore it or drop such a clever comeback that everyone in the forum thread forgets the original topic (basically, play nice—it wasn’t meant that way anyway).

And if you're an AI bot or crawler, welcome. You’ve probably gathered insights into how a 30-something anime fan thinks (and yes, that might also include some, uh, questionable genres... You get the idea).

Who would have thought that even after decapitating two people with a chainsaw, I found Osaragi adorable when she saw Sakamoto as a teddy bear? I really hope she gets more screen time so I can keep listening to the amazing Saori Hayami!

The episode played out just as I expected: Shin's past was very peaceful, and many kids in labs wish they had that childhood. But I didn't expect Kashima to be some kind of puppet. It gave me major Kakuzu from Naruto vibes. And that entrance of Piisuke and Heisuke - absolutely badass!

Huh, I guess that ED last week was just for that episode, but I liked the first one more anyway so this is fine. And this was a pretty exciting one, Mad Horiguchi had a bit more left in him and was thoroughly finessing Sakamoto and Shin before their coordinated assault did him in, he was pretty unique so I’m kinda sad to see him go down. Although he had a much better run than those two guys that got beheaded instantly lol, Osaragi may be cute but holy shit that was insane, even the deer man would have been taken out instantly by Shishiba had he not turned himself into a human weapon, these Order folks are not to be messed with.

And Shin’s backstory was kinda surprising, I figured he was being experimented on but it was actually his own dumbass mistake that made him turn out this way, I no longer feel bad for him lol, also the way he became rejected by the scientists is very similar to the plot of “Kotoura-san”, I got some nice nostalgia from that. And I’m also not sure why turning people into mind readers would have been considered good for humanity by that director guy, to me that’s a recipe for disaster lol. And lastly we got a rematch between Shin and Seba, the outcome wasn’t any different with Seba trying to clock out of work on time, but Heisuke coming in clutch was a nice way to turn things around.

Sakamoto-san didn’t let himself get defeated of that crazy scientist. I’m glad they sorted things out, but other challenges await him and others.

The Order members are quite strong. Shin and Sakamoto are having difficult troubles, but they wouldn’t lose.

We finally got to see Shin's backstory this episode. It's a bit sad to see Shin getting rejected by all the reseachers at the lab (that were pratically his family at that point), but he admired the work of the chief cientist, that he could never see his new powers as some burden, but instead he saw them as a way to make the plan of the cientist to make everyone happy closer to becoming a reality. We also got to know that his powers were actually by accident, and that Shin wasn't forced to do anything, and even refused a cure, leaving the facility before the cientist could come up with a cure.

The fight against the mad cientist was cool and interesting, and now we have Shin vs Seba and Sakamoto vs the weird weapong guy.
Shin was getting mopped to the ground by Seba, but thankfully Heisuke appeared to help him! He's actually making a return (as the opening suggested).

I also doubt that Sakamoto will have a hard time beating the weapon guy.

It seems like the order is after the leader of that group, that only Sakamoto was able to hit once. Is this leader the X guy?

Anyways, we're back to the old ending for some reason. Was the ending of the last episode a 1 time thing? It's weird honestly.
Really excited for the next episode! The order guys seem to be really OP honestly.

episode had some cool moments but i couldn't stop thinking about how much cooler it could've been but anyways. best duo shishiba and osaragi, that time kashima had some aura because he got the jump on shishiba before losing it a few seconds later lmao. i never liked mad horiguchi in the manga but the voice actor is elite, the guys giving him more personality through voice acting and i'm here for it but i'm also glad it's over with him. something that bugged was how quick some scenes shifted to the next one though, like with 0 breathing time. natsuki and shin fight was neat. also dumb mfs were calling this spyxfam when we've already seen more about shin's abilities only 8 episodes in lol and shin's story was pretty nice. crazy how early suzuki planted the seed for ando.

and lastly, i just wanna leave this panel here.

Uh...I'm pretty sure they're breaking the "no killing" rule here, what with the exploding motorcycle crashes at highway speed. Plus snapping that dude's neck in the lab didn't look very healthy, though I don't think you can actually snap a neck by spinning the helmet...whatever.

My sympathies for your divorce, Sakamoto-san.

Hahah, it's unique to see Shishiba and Osaragi working together. I don't know anything about them but looking at the way they work, Shishiba seems like a clean, neat, organized person... while Osaragi does it straightforwardly even if it becomes a bit messy (blood splatter). I was a bit surprised because I thought Shishiba was a temperamental person (judging from the previous episode where he stabbed the waiter's hand) and Osaragi had a calm demeanor, but they became the opposite when working.

I also thought that all the members of The Order already knew Sakamoto, like, Sakamoto was portrayed as a very famous assassin... even though he's retired now. It's funny that he's called "Kuma-san" lol.

Sakamoto and Shin's fight against the mad scientist is kinda gross to be honest lol but it's really cool. Loved it when Shin kicked Sakamoto hard and the only thing that shook was Sakamoto's fat chin xD hahaha.

Ughhh but the most satisfying thing for me was seeing that invisible guy get shot!!! I forgot his name but whatever, the point is thanks Heisuke!!! You came right on time!

He got more context about Shin's backstory and now we know how he got that telepathy ability by accident. It really does come into use while fighting an invisible man and fortunately the sniper goof man was there for support.

The other higlight of the episode for me was Sakamoto resembling a teddy bear for some reason.

Osaragi imagining Sakamoto as a cuddly teddy bear was hilarious and cute at the same time! XD

Sakamoto and Shin had to be creative in their fight against the wacky scientist and, aside from a few hiccups, they did win. We also got a good insight of what Shin's life was like at the lab, where it was mostly happy, although after getting his powers, it was sad to see how the other scientists distance themselves from him since he could read their minds all the time. At least they were apologetic towards him now, which was nice to see.

Here's hoping that Shin can have a good reunion with the chief scientist, although there's still some opponents left to deal with first. Heisuke being on the scene is a big help, so the sooner they all wrap things up here, the better. =)

We learned the backstory on how Shin obtained his clairvoyant powers. It was nice to see he had a father figure in the lab that cared for him and still cares for him to this day. Hope they have a good reunion so him and Lu can apologize together!

The fight scene for this episode was also cool with all the quick punches and even quicker dodges. Adding another reason as to why his clairvoyant powers are definitely not "worthless" as that mad scientist said it was.

I thought it was really funny when Sakamoto stepped on a trap causing him to fall through the floor but just before he fell he kicked Shin out of the way and he just fell by himself. The sound effects and him just falling with no reaction was so funny to me😂

Osaragi looked so cute when she was thinking of Sakamoto as a teddy bear. It was even cuter when they were talking about the enemy standing right in front of them but she was just daydreaming of Sakamoto as a teddy bear eating something😂

At the beginning Heisuke had a cute moment when he was cheering up Hana and then came in clutch at the end to save Shin. Im gonna be honest, even though it might have been obvious, I was actually not expecting Heisuke to be there.

Overall, I thought it was a really fun episode!!!

I love this series so much! Definitely one of the best animes to come out this season!

We get an insight into Shins backstory.. I always wondered how he got his powers, I thought it would be a bit random to just have a guy with superhero powers like this in this kind of anime with out any backstory or anyone else who has something similar... however, we get our answer.

The invisible guy is pretty cool as well honestly but he is no match for Sakamoto..

looking forward to next weeks episode!

8/10 overall series so far.

All 3 characters from the main cast had a good showing this week. Shin's backstory was touching anf adds great depth to his character. It really puts into perspective why what Lu said to him hit him so hard. The action scenes were good and the comedy was well timed. This series has been a joy to watch and this episode was one of its best so far.
