| You forgot about literally the best romance anime of all time, Nana. Air Gear is also warmly recommended to any fan of the ecchi+sports combination. Not my favorite anime year of all time, but I'd definitely put it above any other year between 1900 and 2010. |

@Nirinbo Nana came out in 2005. Sure it finished in 2006, but I count the year as when the series starts.

| You're missing Simoun and Kanon (2006). A great year, 2011 is equally great, with Panguindrum, Madoka, Chihayafuru and Fate/Zero all gaining a rare 9/10 from me. |

Kind of shocked you put "Hellsing Ultimate" on such a pedestal when the Original "Hellsing" Anime was far better. All "Hellsing Ultimate" did was flood the Anime with more blood and gore making it an edgy mess using "Christopher Nolan" tactics with his use of overly dramatic sound tracks to make something as mundane like someone taking a dump on a toilet seem like a cinematic 15 minute scene into a perceived Masterpiece. lol |

| I have seen several of those and worship Mushi-shi; but yesterday I watched the last part of Solty Rei and uhhhhhhhhh... it just wasn't very good. |
