Gokusen is a more light-hearted, comedic version of Yakuza Fiancé, with the female MC being from a yakuza family, Black Lagoon, especially the second season has a yakuza daughter as the heir (Washimine Yukio) and Koroshi Ai has a crazy ML similar to Kirishima.
As for a similar manga, Hotaru no Yomeiri has a similar crazy ML to Kirishima.

| @Yasminaa Ah, for Gokusen I would rather consider to watch the drama series with real actors (I never understood why they put that dog in the anime / manga... and the drawings are not the best tbh) It was my first drama series and I watched it multiple times it was really great ! even if frankly it's more a GTO story where a teacher from a yakuza family will deal with juvenile offenders than a yakuza romance... there's one in it though, the teacher has a life outside her job |

| @Titadou I've seen both the Gokusen live action/drama and the Gokusen anime and both are good. I can agree that the character design of the anime/manga isn't the most appealing. The live action/drama was quite good taking into consideration that unlike the K-dramas, the J-dramas are less realistic/seem more fake which can turn into melodramatic or cringe humor territory. For some reason K-dramas actors are way better and less cringe/melodramatic than their Japanese counterparts. Maybe because the Korean actors get more inspiration from the American acting methods than the Japanese acting methods. |

| For a sec I was worried about Yoshino but then I remembered what kinda tough girl she is. So she did her own research I suppose and found out stuff. Here I was hoping to see Kirishima obliterate those guys but I have a feeling we'll get some action anyway. |

| loved this episode!!!!!! oh my god i swear one more time i see someone complaining about not knowing the characters’ intentions like bro that’s the whole point kirishima is not supposed to be predictable and evidently neither is yoshino ok calling them toxic like ????? ok, get over it this is not a shoujo romance why are you watching this expecting kirishima to behave like some prince also in the manga all i could care about was shouma but im so psyched for kirishima in the anime, ishida akira is really the PERFECT fit for him!!♡ he brings him to live |

| Ozu's a real brave guy for trying to put Kirishima and Yoshino in a trap! Yet just like Kirishima, I'm surprised at how Yoshino is ahead of the curb on this one! I have to love it when we get a highly competent and smart FMC! |
