So begins the labyrinth battles...

Yeah no surprise Laust and his friends get directly involved in this. Ralma has a lowkey leadership role in this but feels like she talked too much. Got a feeling they might run this. On a bright side, at least every character is getting some fair bit of screen time.

While Japan doesn't create dungeon genre, at least it should be able to claim that it creates dungeon stampede situation.

Lol. This show.

"How should we address the current issue? Maybe something we foreshadowed?"

"No, I think we should randomly introduce yet another character from Laust's past. It's totally natural that everyone has met him and/or Narsena. AND that all these key players know Laust as being incompetent when EVERYTHING we writers have actually shown the audience suggests he is very competent even before we reveal whatever BS underlies his true nature."

damnit. They could have paced this episode a little faster and left room for the reveals at the end. An plot action unfolding scene starting next episode would have been much more fum waiting for that a hoary old elf exposition scene starting the next.

@LordCrueltyV An old elf? That seems rather a contradiction doesn't it? Being an immortal race, they are usually drawn young. But here, the Elf looked like the Old Hermit of the Mountains. LOL

Nah, it was still a good choice.

Anyway, 3 more episodes left... and I need more Narusena!!!
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Non stop monsters everywhere, a good day to be an adventurer if you want money.
Everyone was shocked when they started talking.
Good to see people like Ralma & Ronaldo here to help out.
Mist might tell Narsena about her being the sleeping princess and about the dragon.

Yes, it’s rare to see an old elf in anime. Even in shows where they visit an elf village or nation and meet the elder council or elf ministers, you don’t often see many depicted as truly old.

I feel the same way. The show was doing fine until last week’s episode and this one. Now it feels like we’re just stuck. On the bright side, they finally revealed Mist’s face.

That said, with only three episodes left, there are still too many loose threads to tie up. It seems like the ending will be rushed and leave a lot of questions unanswered. I’m not feeling very hopeful.

I fear this is gonna be another rushed mess like New Gate. This has already gone off track from the Manga.

Let the stampede begin. Damn, they’re changing way too much from the manga. I still can't stand how they keep calling Laust “incompetent” or “incompetent idiot,” especially when it comes from someone like Ralma. I wish they would cut that out. There’s also way too much exposition. Why not show it instead of telling us?

Oh no, our walled city is being invaded what do we do:
A) Keep the enemy out and have them pay for it in blood
B) Fight them outside the city and keep them safe

If you chose option C) "Pull the brain dead move of instantly abandoning the walls to let the enemy in to the city and fight them in a maze of corridors where it is almost guaranteed that there will be enemies popping up in the future to haunt you like some kind of hellish std" then you are the brain dead mc's of this story and need some tactics slammed into your head before you get everyone killed. Seriously walls offer a serious advantage to the defenders in a siege. I remember reading the old rule of thumb was 5 attackers per every 1 defender when besieging a castle, which a walled city is not but the same rules apply. Yet the mc's give up their major advantage and instead fight in the area where the civilians are hiding.

Lots of masters and master's masters. Laust and Narsena parallel to initial meeting is cute c:
Still on side of Mist is the problem, but we shall see.

Interesting, I know the rule of picking fights in your favor, so 3 to 1.

The monster exterminations have officially begun, and so is the labyrinth uprising itself.

It's a whole barrage of the labyrinth monsters appearing towards the surface, and some of them knowing how to speak the human language after mutation. Still, it's great danger both in numbers and strength, and Hanzum anticipating this to rewards adventures handsomely, there's no mistaking it: this is a labyrinth uprising.

But still, this is the Mardat Guild here with more adventurers than any other Guild, so for excessive magic to spill out and cause the uprising, it looks as if both Hanzum and Mist had anticipated this in time to come, it's just a matter of time. With the surprise return of Ronaldo being both Laust and Narsena's master helping out, and Hanzum willing to bring Laust, Narsena and Ralma to see Mist.

It's the end game closing in now.

This is the dumbest thing to lose suspension of disbelief over, but there's no way that carriage wouldn't have been salvaged in some form - even if just as firewood.
