MT doesn't have sexualization in my opinion. It's just a story about people with just common sex drive, we all have it. It has purpose, it has reasons, it's not out of place.
ReZero doesn't have excuse for Bard or Which Cultist girl in ED. They are stripped just because.

About Subaru being stupid. If I'm correct, author himself aknowledged it. But either way, it's best seen in the extra LN chapter where Subaru isekaied to MT world during Rudius meeting with Orsted. It was written by both MT and ReZero authors so it's essentially true to the characters.

About fights. Like this fight of Emillia with Cultist. It was down to "hit hard, be hit hard". No injury, everyone is just man of the steel, while talking a lot. That I don't like. HxH or MT fights in comparision have no out of place dialogue and usually takes intelligence to win other brawl. Or if it goes down to brawl, everyone got hurt and fast.

Also please don't diss someone with "you have no reason". It essentially ends discussion, because you can't counter it in any way, it's the same as calling someone "stupid" during argument. It serves no purpose

Except for that preemptive attack towards the tower, there was not a single hit, the whole fight Emilia and Sirius avoided, deflected and blocked each other's attacks, maybe Sirius would have been hurt and that's why she used a hostage. Although Re:zero has actions, it's not its main theme or at least that's how I see it, so don't expect HxH level fights. I can understand that you are unhappy when you watch only this fight, but when you take into account all the previous fights from the first and second season, you will understand that "No injury, everyone is just man of the steel, while talking a lot." is not at all the case in Re:zero and that two characters just happened to deflect each other's attacks due to their current strength, agility, and other situational circumstances. I didn't read that extra chapter.
About Subaru being stupid, of course this is just my opinion, I think he is more average than stupid, an average man, not an average isekai protagonist, as we saw at the beginning of the series Subaru does not have great ambitions and works to achieve what he wants in given moment (he himself said it countless times) when we look at some situations we could say that it is stupid not to think about the further future and in some situations he could have a huge profit if he did it, but what can we expect from someone who has been fighting for days so a few days can pass without bloodshed. I was also annoyed by how Subaru can be stupid, but I think that if we put a few ordinary characters in his place it wouldn't make a big difference, the world he is in is not very favorable for gaining power or becoming stronger, I just think of him as someone who is carried away by his situation.
Of course, there are usually no lasting consequences, but that is the very concept of this series, that the main character fights again and again in order to end up with no consequences, which is why MOSTLY there are no lasting consequences, but that doesn't mean there won't be any. If you don't like that concept, it's not about the series, it's about your taste.

another banger op and ed added to re:zero's resume. so far white fox is doing a perfect job adpating arc 5. down to the exact small details even like incorporating emilia's cute battle yells that were a point of emphasis in the light novel. all the death's were just as brutal as i imagined when reading about them. looking forward to them keeping this up

Reinhard should have been a little more suspicious before he killed Sirius.

@a_Shape Honestly i think is normal he's naive about this.

First, Reinheart is super young, so despite his op abilities/ strength, he doesn't experience as much as some old veteran fighters. Also he always easily handle his opponents, so he's often off-guard.
Look at how he carelessly put Subaru gang in danger because you can clearly tell he's not experienced in dealing with little tricks. If he is really experience, he should have put a protective barrier or something on Subaru gang before fighting Elsa.

Second is from his conversation to everyone, you can clearly tell despite he's very modest and nice, he cant read air at all. He doesn't know some of his kind words can hurt someone sometimes. Look at his conversation with Gafriel and Subaru back then.
For a person who can't read air, when the crowd went a bit overexcited about killing Sirius, is natural he doesn't feel anything is off.
