| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Man, I felt horrible for Godai at the end of this episode. He finally gets a job and the company goes bankrupt, man Ibuki's dad is such an inconsiderate prick. It was kind of amusing how Kyoko was unintentionally insulting Godai when she gave him the necktie, I had a pretty good laugh from that. |

| Godai just can't catch a break, can he? Poor guy. He did say he wanted to find a job with his own power, though... Now he's going to get the opportunity to [attempt] to follow through on that. Hopefully he finds a better job before the series ends! Why would Kyoko be concerned with money anyhow? Wasn't Souichiro a teacher? Teachers typically have pretty low wages, unless that's different in Japan... |
| I felt so bad for Godai. It seems he always is treated badly. He always has to pay for his neighbors 'parties'. He's just had this problem with Ibuki's dad, and theirs much more. Plus now. Poor Godai. and I laughed @ Kyoko when she was trying to congradulate Godai, but messed up a bit. |
| Woo Yagami really told the other tenants off, that was enjoyable to watch! Wish she were around more often xD And I wish Godai wasn't so cold towards her, she's really only doing everything she can for him. Man that sux for Godai, he finally landed a real job and the company instantaneously goes bankrupt. |

| So Yagami's father completely forgets about Godai's existence despite the memorable events of the past few episodes, that is complete and utter bullshit. It just feels like the show is bending over backwards to make Godai into the punching bag by this point. |

| I swear Godai's been cursed or something! He lost his job before actually starting it! Mr.Yagami might as well not have given Godai that letter in the first place! I feel utter pity for Yagami because she's living a fantasy( Godai just gets annoyed when she shows her love for him and "True Love" is two people on the same page, not one!) Kyoko sure was cruel when trying to congratulate Godai lol |

| I hate when Godai is mean to Yagami. She is is so nice, cooking for him and all and he harshly tells her to get out. One shouldn't treat such precious thing like that! I felt really sorry for Godai and Kyoko when they realised that this company for which he was about to work had gone bankrupt. They were happy, Kyoko prepared such a feast to celebrate and it all went down. |

| my boy can't catch a break 💔 in a sense its a good thing. he won't feel indebted to anyone for the job now. i knew he felt weird after receiving the recommendation just so ibuki will go home. i hope things go well for godai. also the whole necktie part was funny. it was unintentional from kyouko but still XD |

| Oh hell nah, they didn’t just give Godai a job only to take it away immediately lol, it was to be expected the moment Yagami’s dad talked about cutting off certain companies but man it still hurt to see, what a cruel twist, damn Rumiko you’re mean to our boy lol. I imagine this turns out well in the long run but for now it’s a shame, but hey at least he’s not in debt to Yagami now, she tried using that to snake her way back to Godai but she can’t now, but the preview shows her returning to Maison Ikkoku so I guess that’s not enough to stop her lol. But even if Godai didn’t get his job, I’m glad this situation with Yagami and her dad has finally been solved, it was a long process but I think it ended quite satisfyingly, except for the job part lol. Also, wife Yagami was pretty fun, this might be the closest she ever gets so it was fun while it lasted. |
