| I really don't have a hard numerical hierarchical ranking of characters established in the way that I do for series. I do have the 20 slots allotted for a favorite character (for elite MAL supporters) filled out on my profile and even have some additional ones in a manual extended list beyond that, but I haven't intentionally arranged them to display in ranked order or have set a hard #s 1 - 10, 1 - 20, 1 - 30, etc. order on them before. But if I think if I had to choose literally one it'd be Rena Ryuuguu (from Higurashi). Closely followed by Nanoka Kohinata (from Koi Kaze), Kagome Higurashi (from Inuyasha), Shiki Magata (from Subete ga F ni Naru), Rika Furude (from Higurashi), and Seishin Muroi (from Shiki). |

| @Serafos alot of people don't even consider Hatsune Miku an anime character...because there is no Vocaloid anime television series. But I consider Vocaloids an anime, despite it never been converted to an anime tv show. |

@DesuMaiden also her merch (at least where I am from) is always placed with anime merch and is even in shops only for anime, until I learned I was convinced she is an anime character
