By "seriously" i mean, do you get frustrated when you have a day late in a seasonal anime , when you haven't watch an episode of anime during the whole day , or just feeling frustrated when you look at your giant PTW.

Personally i don't because it would just make me hate the medium and frustrate me , and i also think that i will have the time in my life to watch all the anime i want and read all the comics and manga i want.

That would stop me from enjoying anime. I mean, I barely enjoy anime nowadays regardless so that would make it even worse.

Why? is it bc you find new anime boring or bc of yourself?

@Zakatsuki_ My brain's just been fried by social media I think. My attention span has taken a huge hit in the last couple of years.

I do enjoy anime still it's not like I can't watch anything. It just takes longer to find shows I enjoy watching, that's all.

Honestly, no, I'm not an anime addict who needs their seasonal anime episodes to be on time.

No, that’s how you get burnt out for an indefinite amount of time. I think that’s what happened to me to where I’d only watch one or two anime per year.

By that definition I don't take it seriously.

It's just disposable entertainment, what's there to take seriously about it?
It's sort of annoying when there are delays, but I don't even watch weekly...

Don't know, lol. The question is too vague, but I guess I also don't take it seriously by most other definitions.

@Zarutaku Oh no, One Piece is different. Delayed chapters and episodes, and I start having withdrawal symptoms.

Sounds like a work to me. Anime is a hobby, the only problem I have that anime filled my disk and flash drives fully, I tend to download more than I watch.

Sounds like addiction to me rather than taking it seriously. I know because I had that feeling for a long time. I just got frustrated if I didn't get my daily dose, even if it meant only one episode. But now I'm more stable so to say.

To be honest, i do take anime seriously, thats why my top1 is LOGH and also i really love Adult Anime
That dosent mean i dont like more simpler animes, comedy or whatever, there are several forms to be entertained >3 apart from anime of corse

If all that is what means to take anime seriously, then no, I don't take anime seriously. Fluctuations in release schedule dun or delayed watching dun matter that much.. There are days when I haven't watched any anime, but they fall short in comparison to days where all I have done all day in watch anime..

As for giant PTW.. It does feel giant at times as it's nearing ~200 titles, but it's dwarfed whenever I see accounts with +1K in PTW.. also most of the shows in that list have not aired yet.. I do want to complete the ones that have finished airing..

I just saw the trailer for Rooster Fighter, and now I can confidently say I take anime 100% seriously. For it has blessed me with a literal fighting cock.

I don't take it too serious, I have only been watching anime for 3-4 years. So I've not hit a burn out where I'm struggling to find shows I'll like, occasionally I pick a dud but I can often just return to a series I know and love or pick something new. I will say my first 2 years or so were a little easier, as there were plenty of strong anime to pick up and run with. But I will say the future has been also strong, it seems there always a couple anime that peak my interest each season which for me is plenty as I've also got games, or a healthy back log to chip at.
