| I hope Shoukei gets some revelation like Youko did when she made that turnaround some time in those first ten episodes or so (or more - can't remember exactly when her personality changed for the better!). Unfortunately... yeah, Youko is starting to lose it again. I want to say "I wish Keiki would give her better guidance", but I don't know if he can. I wonder if the emperor of En could bring her to her senses again? Honestly... not one of the three "main characters" in the three storylines we're following is likable, at the moment. Suzu is fanatical and vengeful and just wants to get back at that horrid mistress of hers; Shoukei is completely self-absorbed and shallow, and just wants to get revenge on all of the young queens/empresses since she is no longer one; and Youko is going crazy trying to please everyone - in a sense, reverting to her old people-pleasing personality. Will continue to hope for the best... |

| I'm LOVING THIS ARC HOLY SHIYAT WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN??? WHY ARE THESE TWO OTHER GIRLS BEING GIVEN IMPORTANCE??? They've been planting seeds right from the beginning. Right when Youko saw Enki for the first time, he said something. That was because he was looking for Taiki. And for a long time already. Jesus fucking Christ what is the seed they have planted from when Suzu went to Mt. Hou and saw Taiki? MYSTERIES MYSTERIES Youko's personality, the change in the cabinet, the change of fates of Shoukei and Suzu, the respectable-as-fuck Gekkei (seriously.........what a manly man Gekkei truly is.......true respectable man, not like the stupid shitty ass kiddy kids and kiddy adults elsewhere) If only this had more than just 45 episodes. There's not enough space for the gigantic story. Even Ginei was still incomplete (as not the entire novel was adapted), despite being 26 to 30+ minutes spanning 110 episodes. Goddamnit The whirlpool has arrived. I have been caught, and I can no longer escape from it. But I have to sleep so I can watch more after I wake up. Fuck yeah. Oshii said: You know something's wrong when you hate every character on the screen for an entire episode. What a happy little world you live in then. |

| Cut the girls some slack. Youko is still learning her ways as a queen and she doesn't really know, whom she can trust. Suzus feelings regarding her mistress are completely understandable and justified. And she doesn't really want to go back at her, she just wants to escape that miserable life and to be treated as a human being. Between the poor girl and the sadistic bitch, Suzu is at fault? Get real. Shoukei may be self-absorbed, but she is not responsible for her fathers crimes. The villagers are lucky, that the soldiers prevented them from killing an innocent person. I wouldn't mind if they were sentenced ( and killed ) for the attempt of executing an innocent person. Old Bag says, Shoukei thinks that she is the only one who suffered and she has no good conscience. Ironic, that she describes herself. |

I don't know about Lord Kei, he could avoid so much problems by doing that.. but no I hope the princess won't get in any big trouble now that she's not in Hou But I don't think so, this anime have too many problems And I still don't know what these characters are for :( |

| Why do some of the characters tend to be so annoying it's hard to watch ;-; I guess the point is that they start off ignorant and annoying but then grow and change but still.. hopefully the characters will be more likeable |

| Youko was certainly satisfied with herself after letting off some steam xD A big moment for someone that used to have no character at all. Besides, the thought that people serving under me could be so petty wouldn't sit well with me either. Better leave things to Keiki for now. And yeah, leaving the palace for a place where she can clear her head and learn more about the world/people she's living in/she has to rule seems like a good idea. For a second the prospect of Suzu meeting a Youko that went down the dark path came to mind. Now I think that they will have a random encounter somewhere. It might turn out to be a life changing moment for Suzu. As for Shoukei. Damn, she was about to spread her legs in a different way. Well, she got a taste of the horror the subjects of her father had to go through. Now she ended up at royal court again, below a younger looking queen. Oh, Kyou is gonna be a bitch to her. She gives off that vibe. |

| I'm surprised to see people hate this arc. I disliked the previous arc for the most part, but I'm actually liking this arc. I'm excited to see how the 3 women come to meet, if they even meet. I already saw how Youko and Shoukei are similar in their personalities. I can even see how Youko and Suzu are similar, in that both of them are waiting for others to save them and bail them out. Though I do wonder how Shoukei and Suzu are similar... Is there even a similarity??? |
