Name the hottest villain or villains in your opinion

I would have to say one of them would have to be Esdeath from "Akame ga Kill!". She was one of the main reasons why I eventually bought the entire series on Blu-ray.

It's only boring / generic based on how many other Anime franchises after it have basically copied her design since. Even Elsa from Re:Zero is just as boring and is almost likely a carbon copy of a Esdeath design which Re:Zero was basically produced 2 years after the release of "Akame ga Kill!" by the same studio.

Based on the fact Re:Zero adopted from a light novel while the character of Esdeath is based off an actual manga. Silver Fox took liberties of the design and animation of Elsa and which likely influenced many of the designs of characters for other projects after it.

Over all most Anime characters are generic in design based on the era they were created in.

Likely you are simply looking beyond the character design from the costume they wear to their personalities and likely base your opinions on fan art too.

@ColourWheel I have never watched Akame ga Kill so I don't know what kind of personality Esdeath has, but I literally pulled up a full body image of each of them and they have nothing in common design-wise. The colour scheme? Completely different. Outfit? Completely different. Hairstyle? Completely different. Literally the only thing they have in common would be the body type.

I've seen 22 out of 24 episodes.

Then you're also going on about how the same people made both shows as if that means anything. "Oh these are two seductive characters and the same studio animated them so they're clearly copying" bro what? They can animate more than just one character type. And Elsa's original design wasn't even created by them, the LN illustrations came first.

If you want to make the claim that Elsa's design is copying Esdeath then you're gonna have to bring more proof to the table than just "it came first and the same studio animated it" because that means nothing.

Even the source material for Re:Zero was created 4 years after the the source material for "Akame ga Kill!". Where the light novel of Re:Zero had little or no visual references to go by when it came to characters designs during it's initial release. Evidently the inception of "Re:Zero" coincided during the time period when "Akame ga Kill!" was actually being produced into an Anime by White Fox. Likely the character design of Elsa was easily based off of other projects animators in the the Studio have worked on in the past based on the fact Silver Fox often has taken liberties on work they produced based off of many light novels in the past. It's only logical they look towards a character like the recently created character design they came up with for Esdeath (Even though there was plenty of source material to go by since her characters is actually based off a manga character) to base future female seductive looking villains such as Elsa. Which would put the timing dead on during it's initial production with some of the same Key animators working on "Re:Zero" also happen to work on "Akame ga Kill!" in the past.

Either way I could give a crap really. I am just simply explaining my own theory. But over all almost every Anime character design is generic based on the era they were created in. Where it's easy to point to the character design like Elsa being pretty much like a carbon copy of any female villain that came before her during the same era.

Either way it's just an opinion. No reason to get your panties in a bunch over other Users opinions.

There are times when your argument would work but this is not one of them. If you used it on any of the multitude of pink/red haired main girls in a magic school setting then yeah, they're all copying each other. But Elsa and Esdeath look so different that this argument doesn't work even slightly.

If there are specific parts you think Elsa took from Esdeath's design then please do go ahead and point them out. I couldn't see anything though.

There is no point to since you already conceded earlier on in this thread that you never even watched "Akame ga Kill!". Maybe to you Elsa looks considerably different than a character like Esdeath. But to me I look at Elsa and see her as almost a copy of characters that came before her. Most notably Esdeath.

Over all in my own opinion most female character basically look the same released around this time period much like how Users will look towards the 80s and say most Anime female characters looked the same back then too.

there are ALOT of villains I find sexy, some that come to mind are Griffith from berserk, Hades and the three judges of the underworld from saint seiya also Gemini Saga and Pisces Aphrodite before he redeemed himself, Shuten Doji from samurai troopers was a villain at first before his redemption and I considered him the most attractive character. a very obscure one I fancy is Gai from Shurato,technically he was brainwashed and turns good again in the end but regardless he was still a villain for most of the series and I considered him the sexiest character in the show.
