it seems that the studio finally got budget for the last episode, the art and animation was solid, very good last episode, Manbagi Rumiko finally makes her debut, atleast a glimpse of her back that is, anyways great episode

Very nice episode! Komi and Tadano reminiscing about the year that passed was very nice. I like how close they've got.

The eraser war was fun, as was Hitomi helping Tadano with the White Day present.

I'm glad that Komi is slowly conversing with Tadano. I hope she keeps this up! She still has many friends to make or meet. Not sure if they're going to make more seasons with her accomplishing her goal.

Komi's mother is too hyperactive with Tadano, her father, instead... Damn, what a awkward interaction (but not really one) with embarrassed Tadano.
Eraser fight was in hindsight something that had to be expected for a season finale, making everyone appear just for a little (thinking also about you, Makeru Tadano, it seemed that her screen time was shorter than season 1). Can't remember the name of the tall girl that dresses in knight armor, but i already like her after she karate-chopped r.y. with her hand.
It was very nice to have the main couple remembering the events of the first year, it was a relief to discover that they haven't been separated for the second one, but at the same time now i'm concerned as never before about whether there will be a season 3. Without r.y. it would be a top 10 favorite and a 10/10 for enjoyment. i need more of these beautiful characters, and multiple of the also beautiful supporting ones (and Sasaki Ayami over everyone else).

just like season 1 i loved everything about season 2

though i am late watching it

but now that i have im surprised theres nothing about a season 3 even still....

but hopefully will hear something soon about a season 3 cause i love this series

with that said will be reading the manga for the mean time (have yet to even start it and was waiting to get done with this seaosn to start )

but yeah love this series and hope for some news soon on a 3rd season

i liked it way more than S1. komi actually making progress here and talks a bit. comedy was more stable than S1 IMHO and made it from the 1st til the last

Nice finale to the 2nd season, Tadano gets Komi her gift for White Day, an eraser fight tournament takes place which was pretty fun, and Tadano and Komi reflect on the past year with the many great memories they have made. Komi is still growing and talking a bit more. I JUST CAN'T WAIT FOR THE 3RD SEASON!!! (I give the 2nd season a 10/10)

Dear readers, this last episode is an unparalleled spectacle from beginning to end, bringing the season to a dignified end with a taste of wanting more.

My wish was for it to end with an air of romance between Tadano and Shouko, but it's fine that way with them remembering everything they've been through and preparing for the year to come. This end of the year show shows that everything they've been through will become memories they'll always remember, and also that there's room for more wonderful moments in the year to come.

Great last episode. First with the whole class having fun together and then some fun time for two with Tadano and Komi... even though Najimi squeezed herself in there somehow haha

I think I enjoyed this season even more than the first one, probably because of the addition of great characters like Katai and Satou. Though she got introduced way too late, we only had one part of an episode of screentime for her. Hoping for a season 3, even though it's unlikely at this point. 8/10

Fun finale! Tadano choosing the gift with his sister was cute, Katai giving Kato the gift was really sweet, the whole sequence of Tadano going to Komi’s house was really cute and very funny, the eraser game was fun (with really good animation), but the highlight of course was the scene at the end where they went through the whole year again. Komi speaking is always a highlight and this one was no exception. Very satisfying finale, can’t wait for the third season.

Too slice of lifey for me. It was a direct continuation of season 1 with new characters but no change in plot. After 2 seasons, MC cannot confess nor can Komi articulate a single sentence properly.

If Komi was not beautiful, the girl would be wallowing in depression and loneliness.

What a way to end season 2. I've watched both seasons twice over in 2 or 3 days last week

I love, love, LOVE this anime. I relate to and identify with Komi and her struggles so much as I have the exact same issues and struggles.
I wanna give my thoughts on what happened this episode and my thoughts and hopes on Season 3 which I hope beyond hope gets announced ASAP.

White Day was adorable. Did Komi get Tadano's hint with the candy?

Komi is upset aboout something.... Worrisome
The ERASER DROP BATTLE was fun and intense.
The proceeding scene of Komi and Tadano in the classroom was sad with Komi revealing her fears regarding the end of school ceremony, being put into new classes and being worried hers and Tadano's time together might be coming to an end and heart-warming with Tadano and Komi having flashbacks of the past year the people he and Komi have met and become friends with and all the fun together at all the events they did and hang outs they had. Also nwtf hi Najimi!!

The three of them walking down the street to go home was lovely as Tadano saying they should ask everyone out after the closing ceremony. Najimi agrees, forcing Komi to do the inviting which sends her into a state of panic at the thought of doing so and starts shaking. She nods, accepting the task bravely. Tadano come to her defence saying she doesn't have to force herself which is cute. She continues shaking in response.
The cat from the first episode of season one! A SECOND CAT! WAIT.... They both look just like...... My heart melted at this interaction and the implication of what these two together meant and the symbolism they represent.

Scene shfts to Komi Shuuko opening her daughter's bedroom door. Kmi is revealed standing in front of her desk, sorting out her notebooks and taking the required one for that month. A photo is revealed of the class from the previous year. Komi puts her notebook in her schoolbag and leaves but not before stopping in front of her mirror to do her trademark smile with her fingers which is freaking adorable

Outside now. Cherry blossoms are in the air. Komi arrives at school and pauses in front of the gates to gather herself. The scene shfts and shows the two cats TOGETHER on a part of the school's boundary wall, along with students arriving and milling around the gates, waiting for friends or inviting students to join their clubs.
Focus shifts to the black cat who is watching Komi intently with the orange one half out of view and sleeping in the background.
Komi grips her bag tightly before the scene shifts up to her torso and eyeless face and, wait, is that a new character yet to be introduced in the background?? She's blurry but has all her details, including eyes and bright ORANGE HAIR; and was shown in such a way that she couldn't be missed. Every student before that was drawn without distinctive features. She must be important. Komi takes a deep breath and follows that new character, passing through the school gates. The courtyard is packed with students advertising their clubs, hanging with friends and having fun. Komi maks her way through the crowd. Oh? Another interesting new character has appeared. Bright yellow/blonde hair, styled high and with flowers in. Dark skin. It's a noticeable contrast to the brown and black hair or, in Komi's case, purple, in this scene. Once again the creators WANTED us to notice her. Could these characters be yet to be introduced ones in season three? Does this lend weight that season 3 is happening? There's no way they'd blatantly and obviously show us these 2 characters and get everyone's interest and hopes up if they didn't plan to continue the series, right?
Komi arrives at the class roster boards, finds her name under one of them and heads inside. Surprised she didn't look for Tadano's but maybe couldn't see it with the students milling around.
She arrives at her class's shoe cubby and finds her own, placing her outdoor shoes in there and putting on her indoor ones.
Oh! Tadano is there at the same bank of cubbies and doing the same thing as Komi and revealing that they're both in he same class again this year too. They both have to be happy about that. Tadano greets her good morning, his final line of the episode, season and series to date, and Komi does the same, writing it down but Tadano barely reacts.
A silence ensues. Komi gathers herself and her courage and begins speaking her final line of the episode, season and seriesto date: I-I look forward to the upcoming n-n-new school year.......with you.
Now the way this was delivered is interesting. Let me explain.
Komi could have just been directing that at Tadano. But could also have been a loose hint at season 3 confirmed especially as they didn't focus at all on Tadano, except for a half shot from behind him a and two from behind Komi: one that doesn't show his face and one that partially shows his face but no eyes and no reaction on his mouth (you think there would be some kind of reaction if it was directed at him andhe was listening) as Komi spoke and the focus was kept on Komi looking at us, the audience, especially with the ending ......"with you" and her opening her eyes and looking directly at us.
Now, I COULD be reading too much into it but why would Komi deliver the line like that if season 3 wasn't on the minds of the creators. That and teasing us with 2 new characters just lends too much weight in support of season 3. But what confuses me is why Komi wasn't immediately greenlit for season 3 at the conclusion of this episode if they did all that with the new characters and how Komi's final line was delivered. Season 2 got announced BEFORE season 1 ended so it's strange the same didn't happen here. I've already watched both seasons twice in 2 or 3 days and am now reading the manga. So I REALLY hope season 3 drops soo (and beyond given the manga is ending and now would be be a good time for season 3 and beyond to be announced and for the anime to catch up to and complete the manga). PLEASE announce Season 3 asap.
