It just provides a weapon (whip) to its user, but without making it the reason to make Chameleon Saint's design look odd. |

| But whips arent a combat weapon to begin with, so that wouldn't be realistic just like the whole finger wire weapon thing isn't very realistic even though it looks cool. So of course it would be a dominatrix thing more often because that is where the association more is for people in Japan because they didn't come from a culture where whips were used on cattle and slaves. Are you suggesting dominatrix's arent real people and females can't freely express their sexuality without you judging them? |

| @KuroudoAkabane It's a lore thing. Long story short, female Saints of Athena had to denounce their womanhood and feminity in order to be able to be Saints. Mask was considered as the most important proof of doing so. |
