Last year I watched 2 eps and dropped it cause it is dark tone and gives bad vibe
So those who are completed tell me that is it worth.cause i watched some anime which I dropped long ago and actually liked it so just tell me is it worth it!?

I believe it’s worth it but it does get darker with some of its characters stories. The end also has a lot of people divided but I thought it was fine. I gave it a 7/10.

It's well animated so you can watch it if you like pretty pictures but the ending is so bad it feels unfinished.

I loved this anime so it is worth it for me.
I also felt like the ending was unfinished and I hoped for a season 2, but then I watched it again and gotta say the ending felt more clear.
It's not unfinished, you just gotta understand it.

It's not a feel good Show and tackles some difficult topics, especially in it's first half. It's supposed to be dark.

If you're looking for something cozy and surface level, I guess this isn't for you and there are better Shows to watch.

You can try to watch it again. But for me, it's a 10/10. I love the animations, and the side stories of the victims which makes me feel depressed.

No, plenty of people think like you, I just don't get why? If you aren't enjoying watching a show, why finish it? There's too much out there to bother trying to finish everything that's boring

I watched it while it was released weekly. The first ep was so impacted, even the start score on MAL is almost 9!
But after that then I feel like what you feel now lol.
I didn’t enjoy this anime much even I like mystery and dark vibe anime back then.
The art is excellent, the plot is also good but I don’t know why I didn’t enjoy it.
So I think you can try keep watching but if it’s hard to do so, then just drop it.

Hello! I personally like “dark undertones” in an anime so for me it was a 9/10. Specific for the animation style, mysteriousness of the characters, and whimsical nature of the MC. Overall, if you dropped it because of the dark nature of the story itself, I would not pick it back up. It does not get more “like hearted” or end happily. This anime is meant to leave you confused and questioning. It is about a very dark and serious subject animated in a colorful and interesting, almost childish way.

I love Ai Ohto so I couldn't not like the anime, but the ending was terrible. If you don't like it why worry about it. Put in a preliminary review of the first 3 episodes and call it a day. Or just drop it altogether.

If you didn't like the first 2 episodes I doubt you'll like the rest. The story is a bit confusing at times and as many have already written there is no real ending which is very disappointing and feels like a waste of time in the end. The animation is pretty much the only thing that's good.

The first season is relatively decent but the ending is so bad it’s not even debatable, though like others have said, this is a pretty dark show that dives into rather uncomfortable topics so if you aren’t too into that than you don’t have to continue it.

This is exactly it. That wasn't an ending. It literally didn't end. I have no clue what drugs they were on when they thought that was how it should finish. I still don't get it. There was almost zero closure. It was such a weird choice by the creators.

Personally I would have to say this was one of my top anime’s. I was extra upset when I got to the “ending.” The ending seemed like it was getting you hyped for another season but sadly it’s not.

I loved this series soo much but the ending ruined it. it's a 7/10 and I'd still say I super recommend it if you're fine with a horrible ending. enjoy it for the ride, the beautiful scenes and the music.

I liked it in the beginning but I felt like halfway through it went downhill really fast and by the end it was really trashy. They tried to give it some kind of ending that would still have some loose ends that they could resolve with another season but not enough people liked it for another season to be possible.

Cool ass concept and cool story over all. Visually stunning as well. End is weird and well bad, but an amazing experience. Watching it Weekly was fantastic, dont know how good itll be now tho. Id say give it a shot

possibly the most disappointing ending in anime. episode 8 is a recap episode. episodes 9-12 they drop the monster of the week format and it just becomes misery porn. Then they have a special hour long episode that spends half its run time recapping the rest of the series, adds 50 new elements and then sloppily tries to tease a season 2. If you’re fine with imagining that the series got cancelled at 7 episodes then i’d say it’s an amazingly creative artistic masterpiece. otherwise it’s a horrible wad of potential due to a rushed production and a writer who, even with his lack of experience in the medium of anime, refused to collaborate with the show’s director on an anime original work. He also in his own words “wrote the story episode to episode” with just a vague idea with where the story would go.

Sorry this show just pisses me off. Possibly to worst ending i’ve ever seen in an anime.

1-7 normal episodes, 8th is only recap (just skip it) and after last episode is one Special episode, which is true end of this series. this special episode has 1st half recap (just skip it) and 2nd half is end of the story. i liked it, suicide theme is rare and this anime made it very well.

It had a lot of potential but it fell so hard. It seems like a combination of not being able to finish animation on schedule and honestly not knowing where they actually wanted the story to go. They had 2 recap episodes in a 13 episode anime, one of which was more than half of the 1hr and 30 min long special that came out months after the series that was supposed to give it a proper ending. It's not worth it.

I really liked it through episode 11, but they introduced something new in episode 11 and basically failed to resolve anything in the story because of it. The OVA then doubled down and introduced a lot of new stuff that it couldn't resolve + undid a lot of the character growth we had already seen. I'm still glad I watched it but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and if you don't like stories with a darker tone there's probably no point anyway.

you've not seen that many shows, and the ones you have seen are mostly good shows, there's a few in your list I'd personally have dropped, but I can see how different taste in anime would lead you to not drop them.

It's pretty hard to tell what you actually think though, because you've given almost everything a 10/10?

I was expecting something meaningful since it had an interesting beginning and the writer was quite experienced in doramas, but in the last part they seemed to run out of steam and just didn't know what else to do with the fantasy element.

@Cammell123 Nothing extra bad, just standard astral chaos and lack of resolution for most stories. Even Kafka's Castle had a more fulfilling ending, if you know what I mean, lol.
