Anime as other fictional stuff there will be always some people who take it too seriously which shouldn't have be done [By too seriously I don't mean to not like/love/analyse or even study/learn from a title, just putting it too much into reality or some aspects of it into reality which shouldn't have been done, as there might be nothing wrong into having a certain character being a role model, but there will be alot of wrong things if you'd believe that jumping in front of truck will make you isekai'd]
Exceptions might be obviously anime and other works which are inspired by real events which happens all the time/happened in the past, or documentaries [idk if there is an anime documentary tbh].
By your examples it will all be different in the way you look at it.
- You might not be considered or appreciated as a hero, and yet you can walk around help those who need help and in their eyes you'll be appreciate as a good person or even as a hero.
- You might not overpower you enemies in a way it is shown in an anime, and yet if you are a profesional/master of martial arts/sports/or any kind of competitive sports or games you can overpower others by honing and using your experience
- Well here I'll agree, having a harem of girls = more money to spend on a dates, more money to spend for valentines, more money to spend for birthdays, more free time required to sacrifice to meet with all of them, I'd say harem is a disaster instead of a dream
- You might not have a shoujo ideal romance, and yet romance is a relationship between two people if you don't give enough of your own values to make a mutual trust, not to mention that both sides need to trust each other and being honest with each other and talk about any problems/negatives/positives/other stuff between each other, than what have you expected at the first place?
- You might not explore such adventures as in shwos, but yet you can join or gather your friends and play a Role Playing game either board or video game or even in VR, you can also gather your friends and just sightseeing or go for a hiking maybe it isn't the same adventure and yet it is still some sort of an adventure
If someone is sad because something is too good in an anime, isn't it better to reflect your own life/decisions/stuff which you can change and change them willingly to make you own life better, putting aside obviously stuff which you might not be able to change.
Btw I suppose Sao is not that good as you might think, idk if you have experience breaking a bone, while your limb is disabled due to treatment for a month-2 which is usual for breaking a limb going for rehab after that is quite tough, now thinking of your body not being used for 2 years it would take more time for rehab than it was shown in LN/Anime I'd suppose. Aswell as emotional trauma due to being put in a real situation kill or be killed, alot of people who are in such situations such as soldiers are left with huge ptsd and traumas which make some of them even unable to live a normal life anymore, aswell as some of them just take their own lifes away. There is more into it, obviously no one thinks about it during the teenage age, when I was watching SAO for the first time I've also never paid attention into it too. So I wouldn't say his life is such effortless as it might seem to be. |
