| The ending of "Wave, Listen to Me!" had a really beautiful song. The animation was so-so but the music gave me chills. The show itself was whatever, I've only seen the first couple episodes. |

| Without a doubt, Jigokuraku was a letdown of an anime. But, its opening was a banger: Another opening I still listen to often despite the anime itself being bad was BNA: Most of my other favourite openings come from (imo) decent anime. |

| People are letting some crazy takes slide within this thread haha The only thing that was universally praised about Domestic na Kanojo was its opening, so I guess that's one example. I never expect an opening or ending to reflect the quality of a show, so there are no unexpectedly good openings for me personally. |
| If you like a sort of manly and an epic fantasy-adventure song, then "The 8th son? Are you kidding me?" has a surprisingly good opening. The show itself is either bad or okay, but since I love isekai, I think it's a good show in the end. youtube |

| No one posted this yet. Show is ok but this op was so good. Bubblegum Crisis I'm going to post my favorite OP as well. It's not the best music but it suited the show so much, and that's what makes a good OP. |

| I haven't seen Domestic Girlfriend, people say it's bad (and knowing more about the plot made me agree with them), but this opening is undoubtedly beautiful. Another anime I haven't seen but like it's opening is Koufuku Graffiti. It seems like a decent anime that's nothing special, but good. Normally I wouldn't watch it, but this song changed my mind. Especially the lyrics. |

| Drawing Days Anime: Katekyo Hitman Reborn Ever since I saw this opening for the first time, it has become my favorite of all anime. I remember the day I watched the last episode of KHR. I put it on YouTube to watch one last time and occasionally ended up crying. Absolutely nostalgic. In this case, this opening marked me more than the anime itself. |
