| Akane lost man. Just by 1 point. This was her first major defeat. Her total point was 92. But score card is really interesting. Akane had Hiraku beat in 3 of the voting sections by 1 point and tied in one but in the streaming votes she lost 4 points. Hikaru got full points from the streaming votes and Akane got full points from the live audience. The viewing experience on-screen and live played a major factor here. Really interested to see which direction we go now but man it's still really sad but happy for Hikaru tho. And as always, beautiful summer themed color page. |

| Only reason voice actress won was thanks to her fans. I would've been be okay with Akane losing fair and square, not like this. |

| Oh well, the reality in some competition is that, there are other platforms other than live performance available for other audience to watch if they're not able to make it due to unavailable spots. The 1st half of her performance was pretty average until she really steps up her game in the 2nd half and manages to engage and make some laughs out of the audiences. I feel like it obviously has something to do with popularity so no surprise. It was definitely disappointing for Akane and not going to say it's a better luck next time since she'll definitely continue to have a will. |
| Akane did a good job and could be spending time with her rakugo family, but Kaisei just had to be dick and make her feel bad. Even tho she may not feel like it, I think she really did prove the worth of her father's rakugo here since she basically beat Hikaru at everything but the live stream. Hikaru won, but only due to being famous and having fans. It makes me think of how those Black Clover character polls usually have irrelevant characters ranking high because they were based off of pop idols and their fans just vote for them. |
| Damn bro... I would also cry. Just one point... But I am glad this manga takes more of a realistic approach and MC doesn't win everywhere just because she's MC. Don't give up, Akane!! |
| Yeah japanese really do admire their voice actors/idols, be it in reality or in fiction. Akane just got a taste of it firsthand:((( Knew it was going to end with Hikaru just scoring a win over Akane by barest of the margins, but that still hurt seeing Akane with those tears. Though it's the setbacks which make the character, and I'm sure it'd Akane's as well. |
| Her shaky start really cost her. She grew so much that it sucks she lost but this experience will fuel her to win next time. |

| This is exactly the result I wanted although I want Akane to be successful in the world of Rakugo, I think things have been going too smoothly for her so far. So seeing her lose is a more than interesting outcome and now that she has come to terms with what happened to her father, I want to see now what path she chooses for herself. |
