Wow, how mature, Zoro. :) But...it is true, just letting Usopp come back without talking about it may not be the best idea. It could happen again.

'Course to Zoro it seems to be more about upholding the honor of the match. Coming through with what you say you're going to do. In this case, Usopp losing and following through with leaving. So if he's going to come back, it needs to be to ask permission to come back, I think? Not to mention that it was Luffy he challenged. He needs to have respect for Luffy as a captain before anything.

I like that Zoro is trying to better the crew, and better Luffy and Usopp... They need to be strong together, no weak links to break them all should something happen again. Plus Zoro is trying to keep himself as honest as possible by speaking out and making sure his voice is heard. I admire that a lot.

Well this is heartrending. Luffy trying to be optimistic about Usopp never showing up, and Usopp on his way with stupid words prepared...

That Luffy said he 'didn't hear Usopp'...I think it shows that he was hurt. How long did he wait in that room for Usopp with hope?

I would feel really heartbroken to see my nakama leaving me behind, even if it was my fault. I mean, he became Sogeking just so he could stay with the crew, even when he didn't agree with them. And honestly that was based on his feelings of hurt that they'd have to leave Going Merry.
