| I've watched fewer sports anime than I realized. But I was still able to concoct a top 10 for your viewing pleasure. It should be noted that this list will likely chance in the near future, as anime such as Koroko no Basket, Sk8 Infinity, Megalo Box, Tamayomi: The Baseball Girls, Ping Pong the Animation, Ahiru no Sora, and Princess Nine are all near the top of my PTW list. 10. | There are tons of sports anime out there and voting specifically 1 is really hard. I voted Haikyuu because it has the best side characters in it. Shows like Kuroko no Basket, Yowamushi Pedal which is kinda unique and rare or shows like one out with badass character. And i think Slam dunk is the best Manga series |

| I usually drop sports anime, because many times the "down time" and "training time" can get very boring, or they are just boring overall or annoying. The only 3 sports anime I could complete were Eyeshield 21, Cross Game, and Free (season 1 and season 2). And those 3 sports anime are not perfect by any means, but they have something that makes me want to complete it that I am able to digest it. |
Cross Game is incredible! It has an incredibly balanced and enthralling cast of characters. |
