| Like it or not, isekai is here to stay. It will never go away given how easy and profitable it is. Weebs love their otaku wish fulfillment fantasies and idealistic escapism. I do wonder what the next big trend will be, though. A change in pace would be welcome. |

| Works belonging to this genre are still popular and sell well. LNs, manga, anime, VNs... type of medium doesn't really matter. The situation of isekai stuff has been stable for quite a long time and I don't believe this trend might change anytime soon. |

| Definitely not. I don't think the "era" of isekai will ever really end. The isekai genre will remain around for as long as light novel writers can come up with new ideas for it, and companies like Kadokawa can keep adapting those light novels into anime. Also, it can't end before we get No Game No Life season 2. |

| As long it sells, it'll never end. At some point it'll stop selling when the new trend takes it's place, and it's most likely romcoms. Light Novels recently have been making a lot of those "Popular Girl x Average Boy" type. |
