I am sick, and tired, from people spreading hatred in this community!
I stumbled upon an individual, not going to say his name because I am not as low as him, but he is a popular anime youtuber and his name ends with SNOB. So this guy, all he does is spread hatred for EVERYTHING 24/7 and makes vedeos every day saying how horrible everything is, and his last video he straight out made a video about a MAL comment where he advises his fanbase to go spam that fellow profilfe, and uses his fans as his army, just because he didn't like what that person told him. Imagine this? Its terrible! Is this the anime community agree to tolerate this behavior? I'm SHAKING right now, and can't contain myself, I am THIS ANGRY! Ok, I am really disappointed in this community, and that such behavior can be let to go unpunished! I was so pissed of I gave him and hism inion TWO pieces of my mind! Hope they stop acting like children now!

I'm done, and disgusted! I hope one day we stop bickering like children, and I hope, we change one day, and we mature, and stop acting like children, then I feel this community will BE GREAT AGAIN!

to be fair, jujutsu is no way a 9, a normal sane person would have scored it below 4

You’re right, anime fans should accept other people’s opinions.

So everyone should stop crying and bitching when I talk shit about most of the popular shows because they should accept that I’m right.

Snob seems like a much milder version of YouTuber young defiant lol.

But as for acceptance, I don't think it's that big of a deal if people are unaccepting of others' opinions at the end of the day. What is problematic though is when they start crossing red lines and taking questionable actions because of their disagreements in anime opinions/tastes.

Never. People fought wars because they couldn't accept other people's opinion, today we luckily only shitpost on an anime forum. Human nature will never change and that's not just an anime community thing. That being said, if he actually called out for people to spam someone that's against YouTube TOS and he can get banned for it. Do with that information whatever you want.

I think OP should calm down. TheAnimeSnob is a professional troll (if he gets any money out of YouTube which is doubtful). A very obvious one.
Yes, learning to deal with such people is important for the community and not being triggered is lesson one...OP should start with that before preaching to others what to do.

Why following Sob's channel to begin with? Also what's the solution OP is proposing here - forming an angry mob with pitchforks and torches, going after the dude? This is wrong and probably what TheSnob wanted in the first place - more drama content for his channel.

Yep, TheAnimeSnob is one annoying fellow. Lately he troll reviews on AniDB. I can't help but notice his reviews popping out in the profiles of shows like Tengoku Daimakyou and Jigokuraku, also seemingly he can't stop arguing with Chibi in those, despite the second dude not being there to respond...

Hell, I AM annoying fellow, but the simplest strategy against me is just ignoring my posts.

It doesn't matter to me, I love hearing everyone's opinions about anime.. It's better than listening to others who only talk about 'current events' politics and world news..

A lot of the anime viewerbase can't even accept empirically-verifiable reality, so I wouldn't count on this kind of opinion-acceptance any time soon.

Although I agree that that particular individual engages in pseudo-intellectual fanbase trolling masquerading as reviews.

I mean, that goes both ways though. The comment in question isn´t really a prime example of "accepting other people´s opinions" itself. That said, indicating other people should comment on the commenters profile is never a respectable move.

Whenever humanity as a whole decides to do that, which is never. I think as a species we should come together in a collective realization that we all suck. That's the only way to get world peace.

LOL this is so true, whenever I try to get in convos with people, they wanna talk about salaries, jobs, daily spendings, tiktok trends. I'd rather argue with dragevard on mushoku tensei than talk with those losers

Oh yikes.. I wasn't aware that he did that. That is indeed very scummy, smh.

I'm not sure what he's trying to accomplish, but he seems really desperate for attention. 🤔

Eh. I don't really care about unity in this community anymore. Unfortunately, when you look for change, people just look at you as being the problem yourself in not ignoring others and just letting people continue to make the anime community the unwelcome environment that is. The ones who are indifferent to it tend to be just as toxic as the ones who create problems. The only thing you can do as far as making friends in this community is finding like-minded people you get along with. I wouldn't worry about connecting with the community as a whole.

What can I say? They're anime fans, of course they're immature. It's always been like that. They're never going to accept people's opinions because if they don't like it, nobody else should like it.

Accepting other people's opinion, is tantamount to agreeing with that opinion. On principal no one in the anime community will accept that. Unless you get to know individual members and reach an understanding between yourselves. But as a collective entity, the anime community will not change to suit anyone, in a positive or negative way.

It's similar to wanting to join the cool kid's circle. You can't join by making friends with the group. You gotta look for the individual, that's the weak link and exploit it, to your benefit. Bit of a scummy example, but you get idea.

Ah, the drama within the anime community.. It's like a never-ending soap opera of entitlement and pettiness. This Snob guy, oh, he's a real gem, isn't he? Spreading hatred, instigating his fanbase to go on the attack, all because he couldn't handle some criticism. What a fragile ego.. It's laughable how some people think they're above reproach and can manipulate their followers like puppets. But hey, that's the internet for you.. Anonymity and a platform can turn anyone into a power-hungry monster..

Soooo... Who left? Anyone I'd know? ...Apparently someone with way too much free time on their hands, unless 570,360 the collective post count for "removed-user" as opposed to just one person...

Anyway, the answer is 'never.'

So no one particularly interesting has left.

Thanks for the info.
