| Idk man, the whole "you have to beat me to be able to date my daughter" thing really left me with a sour taste. Like I know they like fighting and everything and that's how they communicate but ughhh. I loved the rest of this show and it was one of my favourites this season but this ending...idk I feel let down. Like Tomo can't just fight for herself?? I really dunno. :/ |

| So cute omg. So sweet!! Jun actually makes a great boyfriend. Hes so expressive in his own way & so straightforward & honest in the relationship. I actually really like his character. He’s also so hot lalalalalalalalala I smiled when Tomo kissed him hahahaha she’s so endearing. I’m going to miss all of them especially the 3 girls, made me laugh so much & so much fun to watch, all of them likeable in their own ways. I think that’s the charm of this series these characters are just so much fun to watch & all have their quirks and personalities. For a romcom, their romance actually progressed nicely alongside the comedy. I feel like all of them had some sort of development, I really enjoyed watching♡ I LOVEEEEEEE CAROLLLLLLLLLLLLL, I’m gna miss Carol!!!!!! |

| I've enough of those heterosexual romances but this????? this anime was really good, tomo and Jun are meant for each other. I'm gonna miss them. I'd love too see them grow up as they go to college, then marry, having kids and all that shit lol that would be fun haha. that was really entertaining show for me |

| favourite show of the season (not counting aot)! the fight was weird for sure I get what they were trying to convey but it only halfway landed kinda lol but it doesn’t take away from every other part of the whole series which I thoroughly enjoyed don’t think I’ve liked a season one romcom this much since love is war and I’m sad it’s ended with a single season but it was a great time while it lasted! misuzu, carol, Tomo, and jun were great characters and so fun to watch! |

| One of the best anime of the season, I'm not so much into romance, but this one is now one of my favourites of all time, I loved it, I liked all the characters and the story. I will miss it, maybe they could make an OVA with some extra content, but the material has been all adapted. Tomo is the perfect tomboy, I loved her so much, but I also loved all other characters. |

| So basically we get to the last couple chapters of the manga in which Jun had to fight Tomo's dad in order to get permission to date her. Although the fight was rather short and a bit anticlimactic the Jun and Tomo kiss scene made up for it. This was another example of a romcom done right in which you had amazing chemistry with the male and female leads along with a great supporting cast in Carol and Gundo. For me Carol was the star of the show as she made the series more entertaining, but I can see why people like Gundo too because she reminds myself. Jun turned out to be an interesting character for me because he not dense like most male leads in romcom anime/manga. He's a tsundere that was having a hard time sorting his feelings for Tomo who is not only just a friend, but also a rival that he wanted to beat. It was only until the beach episode that Jun's feelings for Tomo-chan start to manifest leading all the way to the final episode. 8/10 |

| For me this is probably the best staple of what a good romcom should be like. A medium sized cast that have their own stories and motivations rather than being just decor for the main couple, funny skits that don't get repetitive, tangible development from the couple(s), and a satisfactory conclusion. Carol & Mizusu stole the show most of the time. Carol was a huge surprise, specially because she felt she would be a very hollow "bimbo" kind of character that would fit in as a disruptor, but she ended up being he most loveable wingman with her own love story. Hidaka Rina as Mizusu was just amazing, voicing all her deadpan skits and also her most out loud angry and spiteful moments. Rieri also has been knocking it out of the park (previous season with Romantic Killer). This is probably the best rom-com I've watched in the last few years. I see a lot of people complaining about Tomo's dad being the final boss. This is like OG trope for old school romcoms, I'm talking about 80s Rumiko Takahashi staple. It seems a lot of peeps just started watching anime a couple of years ago. |
| I still can't believe this got an anime adaptation. Lay-duce really outdid themselves, the show was so funny and wholesome. Honestly this was by far my favorite show of the season, and I can see this becoming a classic. Rie Takahashi gave a really memorable performance as Tomo, she put so much energy into the role. And I can't forget Sally Amaki and Rina Hidaka's performances either, Carol and Misuzu really helped push this show's popularity which is great. I'm gonna miss this show so much!! |
| This was a pretty good romcom. I liked the ending especially the kiss (that's how you do a romcom). I liked the side characters of Misuzu and Carol although initially I thought they would prevent the relationship but at the end they did help a bit, and they also provided some comedic relief. The animation was mostly fine, and the characters designs and storyline were good. I felt this had a good fulfilling ending so I'm not sure if a follow-up will be made (maybe if the manga is ongoing a special may be done). Overall I give this a 8/10. |
| Jun actually managed to land a punch on Tomo's dad, and that's impressive! Tomo gave Jun the willpower to do it. Jun was still hesitant to kiss her, so she had to finally initiate it. They're officially a legitimate couple now. :) For a modern day rom-rom, this was really good, and to squeeze it all into 13 episodes was pretty impressive. I hope that they make an OVA of it. |

| Pretty wholesome ending, I didn't expect to enjoy it this much. Does the anime cover the whole manga or is there more to expect? I don't really see this getting another season as the ending wrap up things pretty well. |

| That fight between Jun and Tomo's Dad was really cool in my opinion. The way Tomo and Jun confessed their love to each other was hilarious but also sweet. |
