I understand wanting the waifus to come back to "life" but it ruins the whole message of accepting loss and moving forward with those memories, Asahi is now never going to have a real girlfriend or create a real family because he is going to live with his 5 sex robots for the rest of his life.

Good luck explaining that especially when he gets older and the robots stay the same age lol.
So Amelia, karin, monfa, illya and illya are real girls (androids) but if that's the case, that means they can't have children with asahi since they don't have organs, not even the reproductive ones, right?

Nice, even if predictable end after stupidly bad final arc. This anime had potential as some crazy comedy with tons of fanservice. Instead they tried to be KEY and made 180 shift in tone halfway through.

They exist in the real world but they themselves aren't technically real, Android is the correct term since physically they are robots that are made to look human and the AI controls that body, so yes they cannot reproduce unless they want to AI generate an android child lol.

The ending was beautiful when Asahi and Ai finally meet, confess their feeling and kiss... Until the other girl come back again  😑

Overall great series, this anime become one of my hidden gems anime. 9/10

This was actually good. The story was heartwarming and humorous. The characters were likeable. It was all fun and games initially with some strangeness but I didn't expect it to get serious which was interesting as you don't get to see it that often in harem anime. The ending was kind of sad with all the memories of the Ai and Asahi playing. But it was a pleasant surprising to see all the AIs in the end considering they were deleted and Asahi had moved on in his life. The low rating doesn't do justice to this show since it wasn't bad or average.

That stuff with Ai was hard to watch. She really suffered in the end and tried to put on a brave face for him and he pretty much did the same. All the artificial intelligence in the world can't change the fact that she died in both deep physical and emotional pain.

The show was very mediocre. It having a few moments of gripping content sprinkled through 12 episodes doesn't redeem it. I think it deserves being in the 6/10 range.

The final 3 episodes really got the waterworks flowing. Like many people, the beginning almost made me want to drop it (to be more precise, it was probably from episode 2 or 3 to about episode 8 or 9), but the twist kept me invested. This show wasn't even the most emotional show, but it had me crying more than anime that were actually sad. Maybe it's just me.

I'll give it a 7/10 for the ending, but I'd probably rate it closer to a 6.5 or 6.7 since it's hard to overlook how hard it was to get through most of the show.

With all that buildup you thought that the MC would finally move on with life but no, he's back at it again living with the AIs lol. I mean i know they tried to go for a good ending but i think it would've been better to see Asahi move on from Ai Izawa and those 5 branches of her, Ai literally wanted Asahi to stop living in the past and forget about her and move on but now he's back to square one, bro got 5 sex dolls XD

I really liked this anime but to be honest, it should've ended with Asahi visiting Ai's grave at the cemetery. It would've been a perfect ending for this anime.

Unfortunately, the actual ending destroyed the narrative that the show carefully crafted over several episodes by abruptly forcing an out-of-nowhere happy ending.

I don't understand why such a choice was made and I'll force my memory to erase that part and focus on the positive aspects of the series.

Asahi and Ai's reunion was so sweet! It was touching see the flashback of them before the illness, but watching the scene of Ai weak in bed just broke my heart. I mean Ai wanted to do so many things with Asahi, from high school to college, and their kiss along with the slideshow of their life together made me cry!! The fact that he also reunited with Aoi and the others was to be expected. (I mean I was like: YES! YES! THIS IS HAPPENING!!) Their data couldn't be that easily erased, and with the advancements in technology they would get bodies of their own, glad thing ended happily for them!

MC had a chance to hang out with his cute brunette classmate and start over.  If he had done so, he would have redeemed himself.

But instead, he goes home to hang out with a bunch of robo girlfriends.

Show ended up sucking.  Didn't like this one, 3/10.  It did have some entertaining moments.  Bad finish though.

That was one weird harem anime, the childhood friend is dead but he gets a robot version of her personality split into 5...kinda creepy when you think about it.  Should have hooked up with the scientist girl.

Would've been great to see him get together with the scientist or cutie classmate. A solid ending where he actually grows and moves forward.

The end part felt similar to SAO
I thought so for a moment.  But, the viewer had a much stronger bond with Alice than these 5 girls.  Alice and Kirito had epic battles together, and I would have been crushed if Alice just disappeared at the end.  Whereas I would have been happy if all the AI girls vanished here, and MC instead got to know his cute brunette human classmate.

So true Alice & Kirito's bond is stronger and yeah Asahi forgetting about these 5 AI's would be best

Kinda underwhelming finale for me to be honest.

The whole memories about Ai passage lasted too long for just telling us that yes, she was dying and her time with Asahi was precious. I would had prefered a shorter passage with something more substancial in those last moments rather than being beaten on the head over and over that she's dying.

Bringing back Monfa and the rest also feels cheap. It would had been great that Asahi managed to move on by himself and maybe find himself another girl and let the 5 digital girls be a nice memory of a griefing time for him. Afterall the biggest selling point for the series is that it wasn't like other harem shows, yet this last scene undoes everything that made it unique.

With a decent finale I would had easily given this one an 8.5/10 but the finale truly made me peg it down to just a 7/10

I do agree some potential to make this series stand out more from the crowd, was lost. Having him have one last goodbye with Ai to give the past some resolve, say things that had remained unsaid and allow him to finally move on, was nice.

Having the 5 girls survive in AI form, so he could sometimes visit them in the virtual world would have been somewhat acceptable, better than bringing them into the real world as his new roomies, which regresses things somewhat.

But a final scene where he would meet a girl who smiled at him, making his heart jump and smile back at her, and then in his mind say something like "I can smile again, Ai" would have been more meaningful, right?

I really have mixed feelings for this series but overall, I really love the conclusion they came up with. While it was not really an innovative concept, I still enjoyed it.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

The idea is very nice, but I can´t say the same for the execution.

The 1st and 2nd half didn´t even feel the same anime. I didn´t enjoy much this sudden change of pace and atmosphere from the 1st half to the 2nd half.

In the end neither 1st half nor 2nd season was well done or impactful - 1st half was an okish at best ecchi/fanservice and the 2nd half tried to be impactful/melodramatic but didn´t fully succeed (in my opinion).

Only if everything was balanced from the start to end.

Seeing Ai from a normal healthy 15 year old girl to seeing her in her deathbed, dying alone, wanting to live is very, very painful. Reminds me a lot of unfortunate young people dying
out there. Like god let them live for a short while. Living a normal happy life at first then suddenly claim their lives at such a young age. Its like very sick joke. Hearing stories of
young kids dying from a incurable disease is very saddening. Goddamn, I hate terminal illness!

Now going back, Asahi as finally moved on but got a surprise to see all five ai girls turned into robots is quite a surprise. I do think its a bit unnecessary, I'm glad they reunited. But they should've done
it with Ai as well.

Its a rollercoaster ride. I didn't expect a romcom harem  from the start would have a surprising plot twist. I kinda like it. Its different from the usual  ecchi harems out there.

I hope someday we'll have better cure for uncurable diseases.

This episde grab me with Ai Backstory that makes me sad to the point make my eyes teary. Great direction to put Ai story from her prespective this time.

And Asahi can say goodbye to Ai with her memories of her still live in his heart whatever happens, Thanks to Virtual Harem Experience that happens to Asahi.

And I kinda glad to the whole girls are back Right Now in Reality, That makes me nostalgic to show before the plot twist happen. Honestly, I never even though to ecchi harem show can be nostalgic before. Feels kinda great to see all girls again.

This Anime was really impressive with directing to handle, which when all the aspect from generic harem in the beginning to bittersweet romance in this episode can handle pretty smoothly in just 12 episode was great, hey even fantastic. It was a rare case that the show with 12 episode can be constantly have more directing direction than some anime that have 24 - 26 episode.
I get why people upset with Renai Flops which too rush, but Come On gives director a credit to fill the story in just 12 episode that use every episode effectively that not messing to all aspect in there.

As for the ending itself, I don't heve a problem with the ending. In Fact is Kinda Good we get back to normal harem situation (But Real this time) that makes all of 6 first episode not just the way of Asahi escapism and put in the end of Asahi Grievness, But some progress with the girls too.

Renai Flops at the start of Season I think just gonna be Yet Another Ecchi Harem Comedy Anime that you see every year with just diferrent paint of job, But when Renai Flops makes some buzz to Anime Community that something not right with this anime, Because of that I hook to watching it. I kinda glad to not miss this Anime. Heck, Maybe next time I tried to watch that Another Ecchi Harem for Laugh. But I doubt it will as great as Renap Flops did.

10 / 10. Definietly One of The Best Harem Show I ever see with great plot twist that know what direction its gonna take.

Yeh, this was a tearjerker towards the end, it was hard to watch Ai suffering on life support and I'm glad they could properly say goodbye to eachother. Now I really thought when Asahi returned to irl and moved on, he and that brunnette would naturally grow towards eachother sinde she was shown showing concern towards MC but on the other hand I'm really glad the girls are back too.

8/10 enjoyed it.

I could say "what a unique romance ecchi harem anime"..
I could give 8/10, but then the plot twist make me lower it to 7..

IK it has a hidden message about not to depend on technology, and I don't get the idea of "uploading memories into server"..
To make it simple I just don't relate (don't want to) about sci-fi..

I was honestly surprised by this anime, it sorta felt like the good old days of something like Sora no Otoshimono, where it pulls you in with fun ecchi shenanigans, setting you up to have your heartstrings pulled later.

The relevance of this particular anime to today's world and probably the future within our lifetimes, like AI therapy for example. Ofc they play too much into the AIs being human and feeling human emotions and getting into that "true sentient AI" territory sci-fi is so obsessed with, often depicting them as little more than humans with a twist, BUT it's still fun when it's not trying too hard to be pretentious.

I could definitely see similar things being used for therapy in the future: training an AI on someone's records or training it on them while they are dying to be used to construct juxtaposed abstractions to help you cope, obviously regulated with a lot of rigor in the details to avoid causing further trauma, but there is merit to the idea.

VR and AI are being developed independently, but they are just cooking to clash revolutionarily very very soon. We live in exciting times.

...
I will subnote one major detail, besides the common tendency to fallaciously depict near-sentient AI as merely slightly disordered humans (though from our perspective it may end up just feeling fairly real regardless, though in the anime they did actually acknowledge that the apparent behaviours of deep learned AI is all algorithmic fabrication not real intelligence or motion), the major detail being the notion of uploading your brain to a computer cannot happen and will never be possible until we can actually build computers literally out of biological brains, and even then it's extremely unlikely that any form of consciousness transference will occur - that said we can indeed train AI on people, and eventually we may be able to train an AI on recorded neurological data (EEG, MRI, other forms of brain imaging etc), which is why it could very well be used for therapy/closure similar to in this story.

LMAOO now he's gonna be fucking robots for the rest of his life. I want to give this a 1/10 because of how fucking stupid the plot is, the last 3 episodes literally make no sense. why does the kill program summon monsters and robots in the virtual reality?? Why can't Asahi just return to the virtual world whenever he wants? Surely there's 1000 backups for each of the 5 girls (evidently, yes, considering the end)? Why couldn't there be an Ai robot? Why did he even go into the virtual world in the first place if all of the girls were going to get "deleted" anyways?

Anyways, yeah, this is trash. But it was still emotional and enjoyable so I have to give it at least a 3 or 4/10

Es un anime bastante dificil de recomendar por lo anterior asi que le pongo un 7/10.

They should've showed me that backstory before, when I actually cared about this show. The ending though... why would you go full drama if you are too scared to actually kill anyone off? Not even an AI ffs...

The first 4 episodes were actually pretty good, then it went downhill fast when they focused on the actual plot. What a pity, it should just have stayed a romcom harem and it would have been fine. 3/10
