| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Interesting...he gave her a name by blurting something out of nowhere, he was not even sure why he called her that. I've been wondering since the first episode if these people ever heard of encrypted radio transmissions. Back in episode 1, Iskui & co. tapped on the conversation between Rochina and Battentain so they know when he'll arrive on Lido. In this episode, they were still transmitting on the same unsecured channel which Fyana and Chirico listened on so they know the Battling ATs were cooperating with the police. In both cases, they maybe using the same hardware but whatever happened to operational & communications security in the VOTOMS universe? Another ludicrous scene was when Chirico and Fyana were trying to make a run to the subway while under fire from the police.  It's just like a walk in the park, Fyana's even enjoying the breeze from the explosions! LOL |

| Well, Fyana's VOTOM was made/given to her by the police, so it's logical to assume it would have what it needed to listen to their channels. Also, that's a lot of new VOTOMs, and if they had trouble with Chirico, that many should atleast amount to the same. |

| I sense the end of this arc very soon! Glad Fyana and Chirico have joined up and it seems like it'll be permanent. Hopefully she adds a whole new dynamic to the show, and in the next arc they go back to building the gritty atmosphere that made the earlier episodes so compelling. |

| The whole part with Proto One escaping the explosion was just ridiculous haha. Not even legit silly mecha shows did something like that. She probably should have died at least three times this episode, but escaped every time without a scratch. |

| He called her "Fyana," but he must've heard that name before, although he doesn't appear to remember at the moment. Fyana almost escaped with Chirico, but she was caught, and the gang had to escape. The military is flying in, with loads of ATs. It's gonna be a real mess. |

| are you okay? i'm okay are you okay? i'm okay are you okay? i'm okay give them some injuries, everyone in chirico's circle keeps escaping unscathed. chirico and fyana are insinuated to perhaps share a past, fyana is way too specific of a name to shout out on instinct. |

| Each time the story takes 1 step forward, it takes 2 steps backwards with all this "nah, let's just have Chirico fail yet again at rescuing Fyana" |
