| The original music is seriously so good, I am absolutely loving this series. I love Bocchi's social anxiety, it's so relatable, and seeing her share her talent to her fans is so heartwarming. Each of the characters in Kessoku Band are so sweet and charming, I can not get enough of this show. My first band anime was actually Angel Beats!, which is still on my favourite anime list, but I remember downloading the whole Angels Beats! OST. LiSA was the singer of Girls Dead Monster, and seriously, those songs are my soul. I think the other band anime that really hit me was Given, because the story and the whole creation of the band was also really heartwarming. In Given, the main character also writes the lyrics like Bocchi does 😭 I guess I'm just a sucker for over the top music that's produced really well, matched with a dramatic story haha Bocchi the Rock is honestly making it up to my top 10 though, maybe even AOTY, which my boyfriend thinks is hilarious. The humor in Bocchi is top notch too though, and the fun animated and claymation sequences they do in every episode are really a treat. |

| A show all about affirmation. So many of our beloved rockers got the recognition and validation they deserve, most of all Bocchi, Gotoh. She has fans, she has a band that recognizes her ability, and a club manager, older senpais, who support the dream. The series could have ended after this episode, and it would have been a happy ending. |

| Bocchi and Nijika's conversation really got me. It's a big deal for an introvert to get out of their comfort zone, let alone with other people. Not only did Bocchi evolve, she gained the confidence to save the live show when it all seemed lost. Nijika showing both genuine gratitude and pride due to having come so far, was quite the moving spectacle. You could probably write an essay on all the little details this show has to offer. I'm curious to learn other people's thoughts once the show is over. The show could end right here for me, but I'm still looking forward to the next episodes. |
