 The official website of the Otonari ni Ginga (A Galaxy Next Door) television anime unveiled the supporting staff, cast, first promotional video, and key visual (pictured) on Wednesday. The anime is scheduled to broadcast in April 2023.Cast Machi Kuga: Rina Endou (Re-Main) Fumio Kuga: Maria Naganawa (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon) Staff Prop Design: Kumiko Shishido (Area no Kishi) Art Director: Arisa Taira (Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai) Color Design: Masumi Ootsuka (Chain Chronicle: Haecceitas no Hikari) Director of Photography: Ryou Kujirai (2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu) Editing: Yuuki Honda (Net-juu no Susume) Sound Director: Ryou Tanaka (Runway de Waratte) Ryuuichi Kimura (Kemono Friends 2) is helming the anime at Asahi Production. Gigaemon Ichikawa (Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei) is handling the series composition. Tomoka Ootaki (Dolls' Frontline sub-character design) is designing the characters. The anime adapts Gido Amagakure's romantic comedy manga which began serializing in Kodansha's good! Afternoon magazine in April 2020. Kodansha shipped the fourth volume on May 6, with the fifth volume scheduled for a November 7 release. Kodansha Comics licensed the manga in English in June 2021.
