Whose your favourite non-human anime villain?

Many villains in anime tend to be more monstrous or otherworldly in design, making their designs more menacing and interesting than the average human villain. Who is your favourite non-human villain?

(Humanoid villains without an inhuman from such as Freezer don’t count. However, a villain can still have human features if they have an alternate humanoid form, or their human features are twisted beyond what could be considered normal.)

Meruem from HxH.

I cant even begin to describe his character development.
You hate him at first, but by the end you sympathize with him even with all the evil deeds he did. Truly, one of the best written villains in anime

Meruem of course.

He is the GOAT of non human antagonists. The writing behind his character is unmatched.

Togashi literally CREATED a board game JUST to give a huge layer to his character and his dynamics with Komugi. The genius behind Meruem's character can't be matched

I'd say mine is
from Madoka Magica.

Although their position as a "villain" is debatable; they're certainly the main antagonistic force of the show at the very least. I just love how hateable they are, and how most of the time when they're callously explaining their reasoning for why they're doing the things they do, you just can't help but go: "Damn, the little shit is actually right."

Meruem is a worthless shallow psychopath villain. He slaughters kids and then the story of HxH is written with such audacity that Togashi actually intended for the reader to feel sympathetic for this psychopath just because he has a short positive interaction with a girl. HxH is one of the worst shonen anime ever made. HxH doesn't have any good villains, or even any good characters, for that matter.

Eh, I wouldn't describe Meruem as a "psychopath", since he never really seems to derive any sort of perverse pleasure from killing humans, outside of the immediate gratification he gets from the act of absorbing their Nen.

I'd say he's more representative of a "cruelly indifferent force of nature" whom initially (and understandably so) views humans as being far beneath him, due to his birth-given position as the in-universe pinnacle of lifeform evolution.

But then the pesky human aspects of his genetics slowly start kicking in and challenging his own "inhuman" nature, as they do for most of the other Chimera Ants, and well yada yada... you know the rest. I believe the Ants' character progression was handled very well and was fitting for the arc's themes, but I realize that I'm not exactly in the minority when I say this.

Nosferautu Zodd comes to mind. He's probably not my favorite but I read Berserk recently and I like his style.

Squealer from Shinsekai Yori because he is so thought-provoking (tickles the concept of being human and non-human too).

Non-human as spirits/anything who are not related to race of Human or villains who are not humanoid look like.

If the first than it would be Ulquiorra Cifer or Grimmjow or Barragan who are the Arrancars of Espada level, Hollow spirits who evolved from Hollows to Gillians to Adjuchas [minorities evolved to Vasto Lorde and one exception of Arrancar from Gillian phase] and than with broken mask achieved Soul Reapers Powers and became Arrancars. Ohterwise I don't know can't recall anyone with non-human traits or look like maybe that Boro guy who was the final opponent in One Punch Mand season 1.

Diva from Blood+ & the Nazis of Hellsing aren't humans even though they retain the appearances of one.
If we're going with non-human looking than I guess Demiurge? Without spoilers, he's basically the anime version of Josef Mengele

Hard disagree with your reading of Meruem and HxH as a whole. Meruem isn't a psychopath. He sees no issue killing humans the same way that humans see no issue stepping on ants or eating animals. If Meruem is a psychopath, then all humans are too.  So not only does human morality not apply to Meruem, if it did, then you're making a hypocritical argument. Also meruem is also like 10 days old. He's a child who is still learning things. You're not supposed to feel sympathetic for Meruem per se. You are supposed to see the contrast between how this monster can find his humanity where as the humans are becoming more monstrous (Gon becoming a rage monster or the chairman unleashing a WMD).
