| Good news everyone! Suetsugu has confirmed through twitter that the story will have one more volume. Volume 49 will release July 13th, and the final volume 50 will release later in winter. She has also confirmed that volume 50 will include spin-off content. We should have five more chapters if she sticks to her 4 chapters a volume pattern. I'm sure many readers are/will be relieved with this announcement. |

| a nice round number lol I do want to get into this series, should I start with the anime then read the manga? edit: May 6th, I love this series so much time to continue from season 3 to the manga :D |

| Hurray, a round number at 50 volumes! My OCD was really bothering me for a long time whenever I remembered it was (originally) going to end at volume 49. I wonder how many of that 50th volume will be a continuation of Chihayafuru vs spinoff content. Because I'd rather have more Chihayafuru-story centered around the main characters, rather than something I'm not interested in, like some of the less interesting side characters, if they were just going to put them in as padding to fill out the volume. |

| Finally! The author dragged this for so long that it was getting bothersome (honestly I like the manga but there were chapters that nothing happened and it started to seem that she only wanted money). |
| I like to post in manga forum when I feel it is worth it, so people will think. "Shit, is her again" or something. People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English. |
