Your opinion on csm animation quality?

I get the feeling that it may have better animation quality than jjk

I think it will. Mappa is apparently on the production committee. That means they will get paid in direct proportion to how successful it is, unlike most shows where the studio pay is only up front.

So they will put their heart and soul into it (even more so than normal i mean), and it will probably be the highest quality work they’ve put out. Thats my guess anyway.

I mean the teaser trailer we got had great animation, but how are we gonna compare it to jjk when the show hasn't even come out yet

Like we literally haven't seen the animation lol

Jjk suffered from a lot of compositing problems. The animation was great, but there were scenes that didn't have enough frames. If csm can have animation level on par with jjk and great compositing, it'll be insane.

It’s compositing not composition first of all .
Yeah I can agree the compositing for jujutsu kaisen s1 was bad but as for JJK 0 movie the compositing was great in which they genuinely improved .
Chainsawman will have the compositing over the top cause they have capsule company(demon slayer and fate heaven feels photography,compositing and cgi team) under youhei miyahara which will do the compositing for the show .

PS jujutsu kaisen Background art director and team for s1 was literally pathetic which also made some scenes look out of places , I’m Glad chainsawman is having Yuusuke takeda as art director with studio bamboo fully involved. Overall it will be threefold better than jujutsu kaisen s1 .

they've been working on this project for quite a while and the teaser looked great too though pre-animated. this is also one of mappa's biggest shows considering the hype from the manga readers. i can't say for sure if it will be better than jjk since it's not even out yet, but it most likely will

Judging from just the trailer, its gonna be very good. Of course, it could change but I think its gonna be above-average no matter what.

It has big names working on it, a fairly long pre-production time and freelancers asking to work on it. It thas more than enough potential.

storyboards also got pretty bad in the second half with JJK but they showed the editor of chainsaw man the storyboards and he said they were perfect

This is also probably the most hyped anime of the year, as it was also super super popular as a manga, especially outside pf japan, i have never struggled harder to get volumes than i did for csm when it made its English publication.
