My top 3 anime are
Spy×family-
Likable things-Fun and likable non stereotype character, engaging dialogue, smart screenplay ,voice acting topnotch,on point story,no comedic relief character, enchanted the manga by anime only scene.
Dislike-overreacting in some scenes, how smoothly everything went like a tale story ,I hope a little bit of realism like our world where both social and family problem are shown like a newly formed family and they overcome together
Summertime render-
Likable things-Smooth Animation and art, Character facial expression in wtf moments are really well drawn , engaging plot always put me in curious, what will happen next , fanservice 😏, tanned waifu, scenery shifting with music really done well, Main character is self aware even though it looks to move the plot though I don't have problems with it.
My problems - I didn't like how the cast showing lack of emotions ,I can understand about shinpei he live in abroad now show he is not attached to main girl like others but his father his 17-18 daughter is dead and you look like a stranger came to someone else funeral , her sister look like her oneechan marriage ceremony happening rather than death ceremony, her friend joking with main character ,I don't like how bland the funeral was ,I really don't know if funeral in West of 17-18 are like that since it is licensed by Disney but here 17-18 year funeral means a huge thing, like seriously the whole settings can change by any fun farewell event even it have much more sorrow.
Kaguya Sama-
Like- Fun and enjoyed characters ,3 dimensional character , animation smooth , really good composition of manga into anime,A1 really proved that you really doesn't need to faithfully follow manga for great adaptation, Chad op and engaging ed.
Dislike- Some jokes are overstretched ,periodic comedy, I really like how in S1 how comedy is unpredictable and caught you off guard not every scene is make into comedy ,but now every small to small scene make into comedy that really make it exaggerated and boring some scene, have to roll my eyes and sigh but still enjoyed more than other seasonal

Spy x Family: There's really nothing I dislike about this show. I think it's very cute and I love the characters and their dynamics. The animation is great also.

Kaguya-sama: Again, I can't think of anything I dislike. Hilarious and unhinged as usual, with lovable characters.

Tomodachi Game: I'm surprised this show hasn't been talked about more, I've been enjoying it a lot. It definitely started off slow but as the story progresses it's been getting more nuanced and exciting. Reminds me of Death Note at times. My main gripe, I suppose, is the slow start, and the fact that there hasn't been much character development so far, but I expect that will change in episodes to come.

1) Kingdom s4
Historical. China. War. Political intrigues. The excitement that most people usually get from AoT, I got it from Kingdom. The only issue is that s3 set the bar way too high, I'm not sure this season will top it.

2) Komi-san s2
Slice of life with quirky characters, good production value, good directing and Komi's derpy face making me chuckle a little bit is already above average comedy for anime standards. Don't expect plot progression (and I feel that it can only get worse if the "romance" progresses).

3) Ascendance of a Bookworm s3
Slice of life + isekai. Myne's craftiness and sense of business make it more interesting than other slice of life anime, in which the girls are just loafing around. Production value isn't above average, though.

I am watching Tomdachi game but I think the setup is not done well it can be much better but I really the deintegrate power of friendship trope and not like other many animes where relying on freind solve every problem but solve selfreplication ,selfbelieve , hardwork with relying on friends

Top 3?

1. Summertime Render
I'm a sucker for Mystery/Suspense and the way the anime is heading, really gets me more and more invested into the series. The plot is interesting and I can't wait for the next episode to come out.
What I dislike? The random fanservice-moments, they are unnecessary in anime like this one.

2. Spy x Family
When I first read the synopsis, I got intrigued by it and the fact that this setup is basically old Germany before the fall of the Berlin wall, just made me more curious. Turns out this anime is not only interesting, but funny & entertaining and just has this wholehearted moments, which give you a smile.

3. This was actually a hard choice for me, since I'm watching quite a few things this season...
But my final choice will be: Dance Dance Danseur
It was a hard call of which is number 3, but the way the other contenders head story-wise, they dropped below the 'Top 3'-point for me.
I really like the story and the inner conflict the main character has to go through, especially in the term of what is supposed to be 'manly' and what he actually enjoys doing. The growth is visible and I can only cheer for him while watching it. What I dislike? The overly long necks. XD"

I didn't put it any of the sequels on purpose, because they are already getting the attention of their respective fanbase and besides, it's the same stuff as previous seasons of them, nothing entirely new to talk about.

Yeah I agree the setup was pretty weak, however the later episodes have all been great so I can forgive the first couple episodes. And I agree, the deconstruction of the friendship trope is very cool.

Top 3:-
1) Ao Ashi
It really exceeded my expectations. Just keeps getting better each episode. Character interactions in it are great. The storyline seems promising and I love football so...yeah
/
2) Kaguya sama
I'm a manga reader and hyped for it. Really want to see how they adapt the chapters.
/
3) Tomodachi Games
Everything is pretty much unpredictable lol. It keeps me hooked up. Opening kinda gives the spoilers tho.
///
some other good animes this season:
Spy x Family, Summertime render, Deaimon.
///
and here are some animes that pretty much suck or are basically trash (I know no one asked but I wanted to mention them):
The executioners way, Gunjou no fanfare, Aharen san (This is probably the worst anime of this season so far), Shikimori san.

I really can't continue executioner and her way of life since the main character seems edgy and hypocrite and I really don't the main character will receive any punishment for her deeds if she would be antagonist that I can still continue but she being protagonist turn me off

Other ones which are also strong enough to be honorable mentions are:
Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu
Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road
Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san

And I watch way more than that (if you check out my 'Currently Watching' @ my profile), but they just didn't get the edge for different reasons.
- Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu is about a guy who got isekai'ed into an Otome game, which is funny itself since obviously Otome games are meant to be for a female audience, but since he had played it for his sister, he knows the game. And as he said in the very beginning, this game is all over the place and not how an otome game usually is built, which just makes it entertaining.
- Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road is like the antiforce against isekai, which is thankfully a different approach to the genre, since most anime are just so generic, that I usually barely watch any of them.
- Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san is def wholesome and funny and I like the idea, that the girl is the one, looking out for the guy and protecting him, but aside from that, it's just another RomCom.

1. Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road

I really like the story and the worldbuilding, it isn't like most isekai imo. I also really like the way the MC is, and no character has been able to bother me which is pretty difficult, Momo is crazy so there's always something with her, Ashuna is very fun to see, Akari gets more interesting specially after the most recent character, and Menou is simply a type of MC I like as I mentioned above.

2. Date A Live IV

I have been waiting ever since it was announced, this season has been very good and it is getting to the best parts, I have been really enjoying it so far even if they cut something but those moments are kinda insignificant to the overall plot.

Third is really difficult, and I cannot decide, really, but the others I'm watching are Kawaii Dake ja nai Shikimori-san, Spy x Family, Koi wa Sekai Seifuku no Ato de and RPG Fudousan (I think RPG Fudousan would go below the other 3, but it is still nice to see).

This is not a huge critique, but if you ask for a top 3 you're most likely going to get the same titles over and over.

Anyways, so far I'd say:
1) Honzuki no gekokujou
Pro: best isekai ever
Con: none

2) Paripi Koumei
Pro: Zhuge Liang
Con: none (as long as you don't search for Jolly Bulikirály on youtube or whatever)

3) Koi wa sekai seifuku no ato de
Pro: low expectations
Con: it's still a romance

s2 is a significant improvement in terms of visuals over s1, and the latest seasons are even better than s2. No more jarring switches between 2d and 3d when characters weren't even fighting.

Well, Date A Live keeps having the same formula since not all the spirits have been sealed, but the story should progress from that around this season while revealing some stuff, I know the dating can be somewhat formulaic but I like the way most of them have different gimmicks to them. The animation is definitely an improvement from season 3, however it is up to you to continue watching or not.

Then I should give it a try by binging it after S4 is finished

1. Spy x Family-
very wholesome and family centered. Almost a new focus (a change in what I usually watch- normally adventure and action centered animes)

2. Ao Ashi-
another sports anime to my list! I can tell this is gonna be worth it.

3. Ya Boy Koumei!
Another new change as well. Music centered. I normally don't like animes with the music genre but this has been an exception. Interesting characters from the start as well.

Honourable Mentions-
-The World Of Otome Games is Hard for a Mob
-Tomodachi Game
- Aharen-san wa Hakarenai
-the Last Summoner (a Chinese animation)
-Love After World Domination

I hardly dislike any of them especially my top 3 because they are mostly not even halfway through how many episodes they are supposed to air.

I didn't continue kingdom after s1 due to cgi but did the cgi got better

s2 is a significant improvement in terms of visuals over s1, and the latest seasons are even better than s2. No more jarring switches between 2d and 3d when characters weren't even fighting.
Then Gonna try S2 since I really like the story but didn't continue with manga since have a hard time reading multiple manga

1. Summertime Render- The mystery there is pretty intriguing ngl.

2. Spy x Family- Nice way to show a platonic family even though they aren't actually a family.

3. Ultraman s2- Despite it being a Netflix anime, S2 was grand improvement compared to s1 in terms of CG. Only problem with it is that the current arc is underwhelming.

Honorable Mentions: Kaguya sama s3, Rikekoi s2, and I'm Quitting Heroing (stupid name title tbh.)

I guess to be odd I guess I'll say the worst one this season...Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road.

Ignoring Spy x Family and Kaguya-sama: Love is War - Ultra Romantic

1. Dance Dance Danseur
The performance in episode 5 was amazing. The dramatic visuals along with how Jumpei and Luou clashed with one another to exhaustion kept me immersed.

2. Summertime Render
Delivers high tensions and trepidation with lethal and cunning threats. I'm intrigued to learn more about the mysterious shadows, and how Shinpei would try to outsmart them just to survive.

3. Healer Girl
The musicals can be awkward in their execution, but gradually it sold me on its idea. It's straightforward and the vocal performances are fairly pleasant to listen to.

I'm not watching too many anime this season but here goes

1) Summertime Render- I really love how the mystery and the atmosphere is being handled. The music is a consistent banger too. Could've done without the panties every single episode tho

2) Love is War- Peak back at it again. Expecting to have this top 1 by the end of the season based on what I've heard and its track record. Also the special ed was orgasmic

3) Paripi Koumei- Just fun asf, nothing too deep

1-summertime render
it been fun and intriguing and i like the characters, their voices and character design. I also like that the setting is based on a real island that exists irl and it makes the characters feel like they are alive,i’m also a big fan of the manga
-I don’t dislike anything at the moment

2- ao ashi
I don’t usually watch sport anime but this one has been promising and i hope it stays that way
- didlikes: i don’t really like the main character’s japanese va tbh he screams too much so i think the dub is better

3- ya boy kongming or spy x family i haven’t decided, both are wholesome and have heartfelt moments too,
for spy x family the comedy is nice and the characters are good,
for ya boy kongming i like kongming’s tactics and how they use different genres of music too
- dislikes: i prefer the feel of the manga rather than the anime for spy x family, i like the original scenes and all they all give more weight but at the same time i think they shouldn’t overdo them because it slows out the pace, like in ep 5 they made the whole episode centered on a trivial scene that happened in the manga, i appreciated the original scenes but it would have been better if the ep was more well paced
- i don’t dislike much for ya boy kongming i just want main girl to be more clever that all but she’s nice otherwise

3. Date A Live Season 4

Summertime render- mystery, thriller, supernatural are my favourite genre.. plus hot badass milf in glasses swinging sledge hammer and shooting shot guns..

Spy x family- this pretend family is better than most families out there and a spy and a hitwoman both loves their daughter much more than real parents..plus gag anime and eccentric characters, vintage cars, action comedy mystery... I definitely want more .

Deaimon Recipe for happiness.. father daughter bond between two complete strangers, cute moments, beautiful kyoto sceneries, slow paced slice of life and delicious looking sweets which you can only get in Kyoto..
And it has the best opening song by queen maaya sakamoto.. her breathtaking vocals and lyrics of the song is simply above and beyond every other openings or endings..

Spy X Family - This series is shockingly diverse in its themes. It's got action, romance, Moe, suspense and more and juggles all of these things with such flawless elegance that the tone shifts never really feel out of place. I am honestly shocked at how much depth of relationship this series has been able to establish with its cast in only a handful of episodes. Truly worthy as a top contender for one of the GOATs. I guess it can be a little too wacky/turn your brain off at times, but this is such a minor nitpick I feel bad even bringing it up.

Paripi Koumei - I don't really like isekais, but a reverse isekai? For some reason those are absolutely hilarious to me. This show is no exception and I love the tongue-in-cheek Game of Thrones vibe it gives off. Genuinely makes me interested in Chinese History too. There are some surprisingly touching moments and the music and OP are also great. I don’t really care for the most recent rap arc, but am looking forward to how things proceed regardless.

Kaguya Sama - There’s little I can say about Kaguya Sama that has not already been said; it's hilarious, it’s got a banger OP, every character is a fan favorite, ect. Two seasons in and the show just keeps on dishing out the same high quality LOL’s and Aww moments as day one. I do feel it is eventually going to reach the point where Shirogane and Kaguya’s shtick gets old, but that day is not today. Only complaint is that the OP, while still good, isn’t as great as the last two.

1. Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu

The MC acting incredibly petty and tormenting has been hilarious and so is the melodrama involved. Leaves you wanting to know what happens next.

2. Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Ultra Romantic

More good comedy, well known cast of characters since it's the 3rd season, character dynamics and relationships are often fun.

3. RPG Fudousan

Wholesome CGDCT fantasy slice of life, that's quite the effective combo. Right up my tastes.

Just missed out...

4. Skeleton Knight

A recent seasonal overpowered MC anime that I actually find entertaining, shocking. Has some fanservice and the "shock scenes" are enjoyable as always. Wish more had them, even if they supposedly "doN'T pRogRess tHE pLoT", which in itself is seemingly always arguable.

A great comedy is usually my #1 seasonal pick, I like a good laugh.
