In most Isekai series, why don't the people of the new world show any interest about the world of the hero after summoning him?

Shouldn't they at least show a little bit interest about his original world. Also why doesn't the hero ever talk about his world or it's superior technological advances like sending people to the moon?

magic >>> science
most isekai have flight magic and also forget about going to the moon, they can also go to other dimensions AND summon a person from another world... so yeah.

Also, not all "typical japanese person" has some technical skills needed to make any technology past the 2000s. Like, can you make a phone from scratch? without any manuals or tutorials?
How about computers? Airplanes? Ships? Heck, forget about japanese, I bet most people don't even know how car works.

I wasted all my time in rewatching to the point of my rewatch total is higher than my overall anime total lmao

Bruh, I don't think OP is demanding for the main character to be like Senku who can builld anything with the correct raw materials, but one thing that isekai could explore a little more is the cultural shock, the main character comes from a completely different world, but it doesn't matter, the moment they set foot in this new world, they completely forget about their past.
If you're a fanboy, please don't waste my time.

Watch more movies, please.

Perhaps, this is hell.

i am pretty sure there are many isekai anime trying to impart japanese culture into new world.
u seriously have not seen isekai with MC building sauna and people of new world being fascinated by it?

there is even a shitty isekai purely focused on this aspect called outbreak company
https://myanimelist.net/anime/19369/Outbreak_Company

also tech wise Gate anime shows this

I was answering his

question.

Also, there are already a lot of isekai out there who talked about their worlds and told the world about their technology advances. Realist Hero comes to mind. There's also the one isekai that I forgor the title which has the hero comes back to his own world but retains his powers, so he invited all his past companions to his world. There's also the dungeon one where the other world girls goes to the MC's world, and vice versa.
If that doesn't showing any interests to the MC's world, then idk what is.

I bet it's because authors and directors think that there is nothing interesting in describing of our boring and predictable world for typical viewer. I mean if you want to see cultural shock in eyes of a person from another world then you should look for reverse isekai when MC and others came to our world from their magical.

Because sometimes the one who summons the isekai MC is some god/goddess so only very few people or none at all that someone is isekaied into their world.

Even when those isekai MC are well known by natives there in the new world, usually they have better things to do since their worlds usually arent as peaceful as the MC's world.

Because isekai target audience is young Japanese male fed up with stress of his daily life who wants to relax watching power fantasy self insert live his life in a world far away doing things the watcher lacks in their daily life like interactions with interested females, easily understandable goal to clearly better the world (slaying a demon lord for example), making new friends, showing evil punks who is the boss, taking risky decisions that happen to pay off, showing off your dominant skills, ect.

Isekai is a genre targeted to people looking to escape reality so by definition it is not realistic.

Well. We readers aren't very interested in where we came from. Another part is that they are focused on their own crisis and are thereffore unable to spend time and resources chatting about the previous world.

There are some isekai where they are interested though:
Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu
Takarakuji de 40-oku Atattanda kedo Isekai ni Ijuusuru

There are others, but the manga becomes a city development instead most of the time or an "inventor". It is usually the MC who of his/her own bring new inventions. In addition, the new world might not know that the previous world is farther along the scientific path than they. If it isn't mentioned, you might easily forget to ask for such things.

There are more arguments, but I'm currently short on time.

Cause that's not what isekai is all about
I probably regret this post by now.

Most of the time, the fact that the MC came from another world is largely irrelevant and forgotten by the 2nd episode. Because they're not stories about a fish out of water. They're about being OP and getting all the girls.

Thank you for actually waking up and starting to question the entertainment that surrounds all over you. It's a shame more isekai don't seem to make the main character is from another world more of a central point aside from using it as cheap generic tropey beginning shit just to get to the "good stuff"... like wouldn't it be an interesting way to view the world (and to develop the MC) if we see how the isekai'd one compares it to their home and how they have to act in response towards it? This is exactly why Ascendance of a Bookworm is one of the best modern isekai out there today.

Anyway, as to actually answering your question:

Would be a good idea to write your idea in if an isekai where everyone knows about otherworldly MC other than Rayearth gets made though.

it's also possible that, from a narrative standpoint, we're seeing this world through the mc's eyes, so it doesn't feel the need to elaborate on the world they came from. one thing about isekai that makes it a really easy genre to write is the fact that, having a character be new to the world makes exposition easier than if it was a character who grew up in that world

That isn't the point of isekai its all about living in the new world and only like a select few knows about it.

I mean I think the simple answer is because it doesn't really matter at least depending on the anime. If it's an anime like shield hero his issues have no correlation to anything that's going on in the real world. He has to worry about and work with what's going on in his world. But in other certain anime like there's this one show where this guy gets summoned from his world to another one to do politics. And he uses the instances of his world and how politics worked in his world and applied it to the current one. I also think he made food and the characters showed interest in the food he was making from his food. So there's that too.

Older isekai would. There would Sometimes even be crossover between both worlds. Recently, only Ascendance of a Bookworm comes to mind where something like what you're saying happens.

In most isekai series Golgo and ryo saeba should show up and shoot the heroes in the head as Target practice and everyone will be happy ..

if you learn how japanese culture actually work, then you would stop dreaming about staying in japan. they do not accept foreigner's culture, simply being different will get you shunned from society. what do you get when you've been suppressing an outgoing person from staying true to themselves? = stalker.

I've been watching Tenchi Muyo which is originally an older isekai and in the ova series I'm watching mc is talking a lot about his old world to the characters of the new world he's in. So they seem interested there.
