Coolest battle shounen antagonist of all time?

Who do you think is the coolest/most badass battle shounen antagonist of all time? You could consider their abilities, intelligence, character design, level of savageness, etc.

My pick is Aizen, for he is the complete product: looks dope, smart af, cunning and a total savage. Madara is a close second, and needs no further explanation.

I have excluded characters like Dio, Frieza, etc., as they are just pure villains, and I am not sure the word cool/badass can be used for these characters...

Probably Itachi Uchiha if he counts. From the ones in this list, I'd say King Bradley. Chrollo is pretty cool too but i think its mostly because of his character design. Not a fan of his religious preachings.

Itachi, imo, does not count, as we learn some things about him later. But I get where you are coming from. Don't get me wrong, he is cool af...but I wouldn't classify him as an antagonist. Bradley is pretty dope, imo.

Out of this list, Chrollo Lucilfer hands down one of the coolest antagonist in shounen for me personally. His demeanor, intelligence, leadership and characterisation made him one of my favourites. But I also like other antagonists on this list too.

don't know much about him, as I dropped one piece before his arc. Akainu was a tank during Marineford, though. Acting cocky against WB, the GOAT.

1. Meruem -
This one is easily some of the best antagonist writing I've seen not just in shonen but in all of anime.

2.pain -
God tier character design and how the concept of six paths was used , with a compelling backstory and ideology.

Easily the coolest antagonist I've seen in any shonen.

3.kenjaku -
Still not much is known about him but from what we've seen , the way this guy plans stuff for hundreds of years and executes each and everything to minute detail on such a wide scale is just brilliant.

Uptill now the author has handled his charater pretty well.

Well, since many people consider Fist of the Northstar a shounen, too, Raoh is a perfect antagonist.

A poll with 10+ characters would be too painful. Hence the "other". Still, imo, Aizen ticks various boxes to contend as the coolest. Imo, he is far more interesting than Chrollo.

It's Aizen negative difficulty (and the only one out of those choices that comes close is Chrollo Lucilfer). Meruem is a great villain, but 'cool' isn't an appropriate word for him. You probably could have replaced him and Bradley for something like Takasugi from Gintama and Geto from JJK instead.

I don't know much about Geto. Only watched JJK s1...think there is only 1 season atm. And JJK was a mid shounen, imo. I just had a quick look. Geto is apparently an elite. Interesting. Not so interested in JJK, as the domain expansion and the techniques are not that interesting so far. Also, Gojo was too OP in season 1...Maybe it gets fairer after we see Geto in action.

It's aight, I understand completely that there are several reasons as to why he isn't popular compared to the other characters on the poll and it doesn't bother me in the slightest xD

Their final intermezzo actually played out quite differently
