Dang. When I don't like a show I just drop it, put in a rating, and call it a day. Yet some people feel the need to make threads about it too as if anyone cares. Also worth noting that you have such an issue with the characters never suffering any death or consequences, yet you like MHA which has to be one of the least consequentual series rn. Even in the manga for MHA only like 3 semi important characters have died so far and none of them made me feel even slightly sad

My brother in Christ you're a one piece fan, when has a single major character in that show died? It doesn't need to have stakes to be good, it's a fun action family comedy romp. If that isn't what you want to watch this is just not the show for you but that doesn't make it bad my brother.

It got way too hyped up imo. People were hyping this up so much when Dress Up Darling was airing, saying it will rival it. Shikimori is not bad by any means. The characters are quite enjoyable and the friend group is fun to watch. I think a lot of us set our expectations really high
