Tokyo Mew Mew
A new PV showing the new character design of all 5 protagonists was divulged, as well as a new promo picture. What do you guys think? Personally I only HATED Pudding's new character design, especially the fact that she doesn't wear shorts anymore... |

| I don't like the decision to give them all (except Zakuro) skirts, especially the bell-shaped skirts. They look like they restrict the girls' movements, meanwhile in their original designs, they had room to stretch their legs however. Lettuce looks like she's hit her leg limit in that pose, it's just not very dynamic. Ichigo's dress also looks more like Madoka's dress, and it's just... no. And why ribbon chokers? There's too many ribbons now, it's much girlier and frillier and if it wasn't for them being infused with the DNA of rare animals, they literally look no different from every other magical girl line-up now. It's sad. |

| What did they do to my Pudding T^T The one-piece dress doesn't suit her well tbh. She was potrayed to be very athletic, but that dress looks like it'll hinder her movement :'D Especially Lettuce's skirt.. you sure you can move well in that??? Wwwwww Also, i noticed the ribbon on Zakuro's hair.... And.. that definitely does not fit her.. :'D Overall, this looks like they have low budget for it.. but for the sake of childhood nostalgia, I'm still looking forward to it.. :'D |

| Honestly not a big fan of these new character designs. And seiyuu choices as well, but then again, Tokyo Mew Mew New will all be their first voice acting role. So good luck to them I guess? Hopefully its good, as the main staff does seems promising. Plus, I was a pretty big fan of the OG at the time, and Tokyo Mew Mew was also one of the first anime I watched subbed. |

| As expected, the girls' outfits are borrowed from the 2020 Re-Turn reunion one-shot... except for Mint's new hair style. These new seiyuu choices are very interesting... good luck...... Honestly I'm just hoping to see à La Mode adapted... I still really like Mew Berry. |

| No. Just no. The designs are terrible. Too many ribbons, too many frills. Pudding is supposed to wear shorts. Lettuce's hair looks terrible at the ends, not to mention the weird skirt (and her white thingies don't go out of her hair, but out of her waist?!). Zakuro with that pink girly thingie in her hair, are you serious? (and her hair is too long). How are they supposed to fight in these outfits? And Zakuro with that hair. Anyway, what I hate the most are ribbons around their necks and legs. All those ribbons and frills make the show seem like it's for little girls, like Pretty Cure. |

| I feel like I'm the only one who really really likes these new designs! <3 I'd say they're more girly and innocent like original storyline kind of is. Also their original designs in anime looked like they were made of latex, ugh. |

| I find these redesigns kinda unnecessary. They're just slightly worse than before, as the changes aren't at all creative, more like "we had to come up with something" (like Zakuro's ribbon). Why would they get rid of Pudding's overalls just to give her the exact same dress as Minto? I feel kinda conflicted bc I'm excited for new stuff but I feel like it's gonna be Sailor Moon Crystal all over again 😬 |

Still no further news, but I just now noticed this picture! It's honestly kinda eerie seeing Bu-Ling/Pudding as tall as the others and Café Mew Mew looks a lot more purple than pink like it was 20 years ago. |
