Me( who has watched hunter x hunter but not black clover) and my friend (who has watched black clover but not hunter x hunter) were having an argument. My friend was blindly arguing that bc is better than hxh and I told him after checking the mal ratings it would be tough for bc to outperform hxh but I am in no position to judge as I haven't watched bc so which do you guys think is better. (In your opinion)

Ive seen both of them and tbf their both are great shows but if i have to pick one it would have to be black clover since hxh’s ending is a bit stiff and it feels like something is missing (ik the ending was rushed and all but they could have done better) and black clover (the anime) hasint finished yet and idk about the manga but so far as 170 episodes their pretty entertaining,the fillers are fun aswell. (not saying that other anime fillers are bad) To me the ending of an anime is like the whole cake and if the ending is bad/incomplete it kinda drags the whole anime down for me.

I know that Hunter x Hunter is seen as one of the greatest anime of all time, but I really like Black Clover. The characters and the interactions they have add to the enjoyment. I usually have shit opinions anyway so…. Yeah…but nothing beats Code Geass tho

Easily HxH. Black Clover is a 7/10 MAX, HxH is leagues above Bc in every way.

For someone who have seen both I think HxH is better than Black Clover.
Black clover is pretty good too but HxH is on another level.

Tbh it shouldn't even be a debate HXH is infinitely better than BC I don't see how it's even a debate since HXH is one of the best animes ever made it's just unfortunate it has no ending but besides that it's perfect BC is also very good but not on HXH's level. HXH has some of the best characters/villains in all of anime and some of the best arcs ever.

HunterxHunter is childish and mostly watched by kids. While Black clover is a bit more mature but still can be watched by kids. BC is most watched by teens. I have watched both, and I always prefer Black Clover.

Hunter X Hunter is better. I really like both hxh and black clover but when it comes to how much I enjoyed watching each show it has to be hxh.

I'm a fantasy fan and I just love hard magic systems so I can say BC is a great anime to me in that perspective. BUT comparing other things like character design, storyline it isn't much different from a typical shounen anime(or manga) so all in all, yeah I like BC but only for that magical system and for nothing much.

On the other hand considering HxH I haven't read or watched it yet and don't plan to anytime soon so I can't help you in that way. Sorry

I tried the manga for HxH and i think the manga for Black Clover is better. Hxh just seems very basic to me, i got up to Hisoka vs Kastro and I realized I only cared about Hisoka. And I only cared because he was chaotic and fun to watch. The other characters were so boring. Maybe the anime is better but if its the same storyline I don’t see the major appeal.

Yes i have seen both bc is not mature hxh is really dark even if it compare to fullmetal alchemist brotherhood.hxh is starting to get dark around 75 ep.after watched this episode u r gonna change ur mind

Imo, hunter x hunter is an amazing battle shonen that has amazing characters and arcs. Black Clover is pure shonen fun with some amazingly animated and really hype fights. I think hunter x hunter wins by a long shot
