| I feel like Subaru has more determination but Takemichis determination feels stronger in a way. Due to Takemichi not being able to a retry if he fails his mission. He must complete it in 1 try whereas Subaru can try infinitely if his save point is in a good point unlike with season 2s Rem situation. |

| Takemichi is a piece of trash who never did anything good. All the problems are always solved by some external factor. If this shit died and Baji were the main character, Tokyo Revengers wouldn't be so bad. |

| Subaru has literally experienced the pain & horrors of death. A few punches and watching your loved one die is nothing when you've literally had your stomach cut opened, had your body devoured by cute rabbits, and even stabbed himself in the throat with a sword. That shit takes courage especially if you have to do it by your own free will. |

| I don't see Subaru as a looser, the kind of pain and agony he suffered throughout the series, it isn't even comparable with 26 year old Takemitchy, who clearly doesn't act according to his mental age. Just screaming out loud and waving some punches in air solved most of his problems, don't know anything beyond anime though as I haven't read the manga. As for anime alone, comparing these too was never a question to begin with, maybe comparing Takemitchy to Yukiteru or Ouma Shuu is a better choice. |

| Subaru has no choice but to act. He is immortal. Takemitchy can get hurt permanently and has no easy way to "sacrifice this route" and restart. Takemitchy wins in terms of determination easily. edit- wtf everyone is saying subaru smh |
