Do you think Demon Slayer is amazing?

| I definitely understand why this show is so popular. But talking on a technical level. It is ludicrously bad if you actually watch decent shounen like One Piece, Naruto, HxH or even Bleach. The plot is as simple as it gets, the fights are fairy tail-level of bad, Nezuko is for pure fan service, female Michael Jackson is for pure fan service, Zenitsu is childish as fuck, Inosuke is Trevor Philips but without personality. One thing I really like about it though is that Episode 19 was pretty good for 5 minutes. |
| "Amazing" is probably a bit strong, but I do consider it a very good series overall and even in those respects where it draws justified criticism it's better than some people make it out to be. The animation and production in general definitely elevate the story, but they don't carry it. Oh, and no, it wasn't in my first five. |

| The thing is that most people that visit the forums probably watched way more than just 5, or 50 anime in general, so this is not the best place to do this poll tbh. In any case, I watched a ton of stuff already and liked Yaiba a lot, both the TV series and the movie. |

| Demon Slayer is amazing. People will often complain about it being a "generic" story when the demographic is literally for people who feast on this type of content. Sure, I found it boring at times, but I cannot deny its great moments which took up most of the duration. |
| It's a solid 5/10 for me. I found the story, characters, humor, and power system to be lacking. Animation isn't something I think about so I'm not swayed on that front. |

| 10/10 animation, but everything else leaves a lot to be desired. The fights are boring, characters feel flat, the story is generic, the pacing of the episodes is slow (I basically watch it at 2x speed, otherwise is pretty much unbearable)... Not gonna lie, I expected much better from such a highly rated show, but it looks like as usual with MAL, high rated shows aren't a good measure of quality. |

| The strong animation and the powerful soundtrack helped to heighten the series for sure. Plus the cast of characters are quite fun. The series has many good aspects going for it, but it is very subjective to say whether it is amazing or not, because we don't know what or how to measure it up to. And we need to take in account that everyone has different standards from enjoyment to taste is music. But to simply answer your question: nah. |
| I dont get the hype around Kimetsu no Yaiba. It was not even average nor enjoyable. Just another generic bad shonen. Nevertheless, I can understand if someone likes it, it being in their first 5 animes. |

| YES! The story is so good, very emotional and relatable. The soundtrack ia epic. Great characters with wonderful characters development. The battle scenes are perfect. The animation is amazing, and one of the best iv'e ever seen. |

| Generic conveyer things can't be amazing, they can't even be good. Sure they could be entertaining for people which don't care about actual plot so much but what for others? It's painful to watch so it's 4-5/10 by default. I don't think that it's about quantity of anime you watched, it's more about quality of anime you watched and what you are looking for in anime. Let's be honest even FMAB fans aren't so solid, at least a half of them liked it because of animation primarily. |
