Lol. I like the part where they call each other using nicknames but with "-san". Like, Ritchan-san and Mitchan-san. I honestly ship Ritchan and Mitchan and I can't believe Ritchan is a guy lol. Shigure kept on teasing his editor I feel bad for her arg.

Hahahah. Ritchan and Mitchan are so funny xP if I remember correctly, in the mangaka comment panel, sensei said many of the Furuba fans shipped them together and tbh, I wouldn't even be mad about that :P

Aya laughing and confidently eating soba noodles was a sight to see LMFAO. What a person to look up to, LOLOL.

"Takoyaro" had me deaddddd. So clever xD

Probably worst episode of the show by a considerable margin. Ristu was just very damn annoying. Hopefully he does change how he thinks and can become less apologetic.

Tohru's speech on the roof was the highlight. What a badass almost falling off a roof but still keeping your nerve and just continuing your speech. SO GOOD

This episode flat sucked. Lol. Holy crap.

Monkey and the stalker editor walking back from takoyaki was nice. Maybe the only part I liked (1 minute? Lol).

The previous tiger episode also was iffy. Maybe if I understood who wrote the letter to the tiger girl?
Though I did like the touching scene with the tiger, her mom and Tohru (with Yuki in the background).

Hated this episode because of Ritsu — obviously because of my innate prejudice against loud characters (and people). Just hope she won't bother me again, as I'm enjoying Fruits Basket quite a bit currently.

To sums up this episode: IM SO SORRY!
"The future is always blank. Only your willpower can leave footsteps there."

"Ruling over death means ruling over life. Death is the climax of life. To have the best death, you must honor life."

This was a real cute episode I can't lie. The deep message obviously is that you should be yourself no matter what. Who cares what others think or say. Just do you.

The monkey zodiac is funny but really close to the point where it gets annoying. Also, I love the editor. She's cute. Loved the episode btw.

Between the annoying character outbursts, the transphobia, and the awkward as hell suicide comedy/drama, this episode is an all time low for an otherwise great series, and absolute fucking train-wreck that I hope to forget about as soon as possible, lest it sour me on the show as a whole. Oh, and no, I don't give a shit that Ritchan's character is written as a shy/anxious male cross-dresser, this is Japan we're talking about it, and it was written over 20 years ago, we all know why such a character can't be trans.

don't @me
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

I wouldn't be able to be around someone who always panicked, someone who is always sorry is okay but damn thats excessive asf. I"d have to strangle em.

Behold of my awesomeness~

that was awful. ive never really been a fan of the su!cide jokes but this was just :// making it a joke at the start and then suddenly taking it serious was a bad choice. also what the hell is ritchan's character, they're making comedy out of her overly apologetic character (which is kind of annoying but whatever.) but then suddenly making it serious and dramatic. the transphobia too damn, i get that the original story was 20 years ago but can't they maybe change something like this? they've changed a couple of things before

Mitchan is really one of my favorite side characters so far purely for the comedic gold she brings when she’s on screen. She’s also really cute, and I hope Ritsu and Mitchan become great friends~

Traps...Traps everywhere, not much of a twist there for me as the the Ritsu's voice made it clear. With their overreaction, the troublesome Ritchan and Mitchan perfectly fit each other.

Perhaps I was expecting too much from a Japanese series, but I thought he was gonna be a trans girl, especially from his back story. Not a deal breaker though, by any means.

Worst episode so far. Holy hell the monkey was freaking unbearable. Someone needs to bully the hell outta her so she goes mute like the tiger girl.

Well, we were introduced to a new zodiac animal, the monkey.

Well, that was certainly an interesting episode. I thought that it was so weird that Ritsu was voiced by a guy, but was a female. And then it made so much sense that Ritsu was a male cross dresser.

Both Ritsu and the editor just need to calm tf down. They both need to just take a chill pill.

In all seriousness though, it was sad seeing them act how they did, and the reasoning why was also sad. So it was good to see themselves find a bit more confidence in themselves at the end of the episode.

I found the episode kinda boring but it´s always great to get to know a new Soma. That scene of Tohru saying nice things to him so he wouldn´t k*ll himself was kinda forced tho.

I don’t know if this is the last Souma that we will be introduced to but correct me if I’m wrong if that’s the case because I’m honestly not quite sure on that one. Anyways Ritsu the monkey Zodiac and evidently a crossdresser. It was kind of obvious that it was a guy because they mentioned that he was the son of the woman who worked at the Hot springs where Tohru, Yuki, Kyo and Momiji went to for White Day. I honestly thought Ritsu was fine as a character, the apologetic nature was amusing but I can see why people would be easily turned off by Ritsu’s antics as it were. Mainly to do with the fact that he likes to scream a lot and his apologies could be a bit too much for maybe like I said others watching this.

At the very least he’s got somebody to talk to now, even if it is Shigure’s editor. And that poor woman gets driven up the wall, it’s like come on Shigure, give the dog a bone sometimes. Tohru had quite the speech up on that roof, I love how she kept going despite her little slip, definitely takes a lot of guts to stand on a roof like that. I think this episode had quite a good mixture of drama and comedy I honestly don’t see it as a bad episode because again Ritsu is fine for the most part there’s probably far worser characters that are annoying so fair’s fair.

Well, we finally met the Monkey, and surprisingly, I don't feel much alike, even though that's supposed to be my sign. 'Supposed'—because, although I'm pretty sure it is, seeing how different this guy's personality is from mine actually made me doubt it. So, I guess I'll have to do some research again... just to be sure. 😭

Ritsu x Shigure's editor! ❤️

A relationship where they're the other person's reason to keep going. How beautiful...

Can the funniest joke in an episode about finding the will to live be a dragged out scene of a character wanting to take her own life? It's jarring to me seeing a character I enjoy watching wanting to end it all as a joke, just for the main serious subject of the episode to focus on a character I hate actually contemplating jumping. It's weird. It should at least be the other way around, that the character I have sympathy for is the one dealing with the heavy problems, and the joke shouldn't be demeaning to the seriousness of the theme. I couldn't care less for the character actually contemplating jumping, kind of wishing they would just do it, and the only thing saving it is Tooru's honest to god heartfelt reaction. I really get why Tooru reacts the way she does, but why couldn't she have reacted to the recurring grief of the editor? Why are most of the zodiac characters so painful to watch...
