How to Support an Anime without paying for streaming services, physical copies and merchandise?

I've been wondering how to support an anime without paying, even a cent. As for the background, I just don't want to pay for something I can easily get for free.
So the only idea that comes from my mind is to watch Anime from "Muse Asia" and "Ani one Asia". But they have limited anime, so I'm limited to subscribing to official youtube channels of anime studios(example MAPPA) and watching their videos(example, Chainsaw Man PV) and listening anime songs in spotify.

So here I am thinking what I can do to support the anime without paying (aside from the usual advertising in social media platform which I don't want to do)

Don't sweat it. You sharing your love already good enough support imo.
I mean like, talking about it to your friends, etc.

The thing you're doing right now is already good , if you really want to support more then you got to buy something

You accept the fact that you can't support your favorite anime without paying.

There are two different forms of support.

You can support it socially by talking about it with your friends and enjoying it. This type has 0 effect on whether or not future projects get made.

Then there's financial support which includes buying merchandise, releases, attending concerts or events, ect. This is the only form that actually matters when it comes to execs and producers. This is the type that will get more things made.

Yeah, as much as I like the anime, the only thing I can do is add something to the algorithm, I'll give an example.

https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2021-07-02/odd-taxi-wont-sell-blu-ray-box-unless-it-gets-at-least-300-orders/.174658

Odd Taxi Blu-Ray Box costs 27,500 yen (approximately US$246), way too expensive for me, and I question Crunchyroll's ethical behavior to support them

Yep, this is my main concern, there are youtubers out there who are already doing the promotions, advertising and hyping an anime. I also know that the effects of international attention isn't really a concern on an anime(unlike Manga and Light Novels when they are licensed) except if it's a movie(Demon Slayer and Kimi no Nawa).
What I meant to say is I want those people to continue to create anime and to let them know that they have my support.

Wh... What...? Anime is also licensed. How do you even think it comes out westside?

You can't support a franchise in the way that producers care about without spending dosh. If a thing isn't profitable, they won't make more.

Retweet the anime's official tweets? Doesn't sound that impactful though unless you have a significant following.

That's new to me, I thought they don't sell Blue-ray and DVDs outside their country? I have yet to see a physical copy of an anime.

I'll probably spend on it if I go to Japan, but right now I'm living in another country which makes it so hard to support them.

Thats kind of insane... Every store that stocks DVDs has an anime section here. I tend to buy most anime that I like on DVD or Bluray as to support the licensers so that they remain in business, even if the prices are suuuuper crazy here (though most things are more expensive here).

DVDs and merchandise are, for the most part, much cheaper in Japan. If you can find a second-hand DVD store, you can find a tooooon of cheap obscure anime that would set you back hundreds elsewhere. I lived in Japan for a little while so if you end up going, I can recommend you some places (assuming they're still open of course).

if you tell people about how cool anime is, those people might splash money on anime, thus supporting the media.

Has a 8.60 mean score

Why are you so determined to support the industry? just enjoy the anime and no one is forcing you to pay or promote the anime to enjoy it.

you already do through word of mouth marketing and watching anime on free legal streaming sites like Muse Asia

also watch anime on your local TV channel too so that they can buy more TV licenses from the Anime Industry

You're already doing that by spreading it through reccomendations and also on legal streaming stuff like muse Asia already.

Probably share it online, so ppl with money can support it.

In this world shrouded in darkness, I learned there was someone who’d been struggling along with me. That alone is enough.

fanart, fanfiction, word of mouth. discussing on places like mal works too. even if you can't afford to buy stuff, getting the word out there can get other people into it

I read online, "Why does cracked anime website still up despite the authority can easily shut it down?", and got answered, it because cracked anime site help the creator to spread the word about the anime. Consider before muse existed, my country has very limited streaming services, and moreover, the streaming services has region locked anime library so I can't really watch anything, but anime is still popular in my country.

Tldr; you can support them by spreading the word about those anime, think it like a free promotion, no one would reject free promotion. The more you spread it, the more you support them. Maybe like gain followers or something?

This year I bought the Shaman King set of Yoh and Hao figurines, cost a little over 250 dollars, but it was worth it. Didn't mean to do a cheap flex but, the anime has gotten it's remake, currently airing so felt right to do it.

Sure, there is still support because you watch it for free, but it isn't in the industry's best interest when it comes to finances. Not like I'm any different, but at least, I still pay to watch
