So it's been 2 months since I started watching Naruto and Shippuden, and I feel like I've been forcing myself to watch it, and the reason for that is probably because I thought since it was a popular anime I should watch it, and get the full experience. At one point I felt like I wasn't being entertained, it made me thought 'I think Naruto is supposed to entertain me, I should find a way so it can be entertaining'. However, I feel like made me stressed out thinking almost all day about how I can be entertained and get the most out of it, but after a couple of weeks, it still didn't fix the problem since I keep on thinking about it even when watching. I noticed that I should probably stop watching Naruto and maybe try watching another anime because I thought that I will go back to normal and not be stressed out but after taking a break for just one day, the thought of watching it comes to my mind even though I don't like it, and I felt like I won't stop thinking about it if I don't finish it, but at the same time maybe if I don't watch it the thinking will slowly go away, I also don't really feel like doing anything else either. It feels like I have to finish it in order for me to stop thinking about it and being more relaxed, or something like that. Maybe I'm curious to see what happens next, or that I actually like it but I make myself stressed out of it but that's likely not the case. So I'm not sure what to do here, does anyone know? Should I stop watching it so the thought of watching it will slowly go away or watch through it with the stress in my mind until the end so I will finally be free from it? Also for additional information, it might take me 10-20 days to finish it. Also I'm sorry if I made such a long post about this or that some parts just don't make sense, this thing is just bothering me and I want this to end. |

Just drop any show if you think it's boring you and save yourself some time to watch more interesting shows. |

Yeah you should never force yourself for anything hobby related. Try like a 26 episode series next and if it's fun you'll stop thinking about it (if not you might have obsessive trouble and might want to consult a specialist). Shippuden need something like a One Pace edit but, yeah it's hard to commit to absurdly long shows. |

You dont watch Naruto Shippuuden, you read it, and this comes from someone who both read and watched it. If you already completely uninterested in Naruto whatsoever then better just drop it and move on to other anime or manga. |

Most of these long running anime are slow pace and have fillers which make them boring to watch If you want some underrated shonen that a lot of action (action in almost every episode) and ZERO fillers then watch Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken (2020). This one of the most underrated anime airing. However, I recommend watching at least 5 episode, because 5th episode is where the anime starts to be good but it get is even better later (episode 30 to 32 is best so far) Here some scene form that anime (has spoilers) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCFOCg4XIEQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=di2rI--IsxA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXgVyu5en3I |

Honestly I feel the same but not to your extent. It's kinda good enough to not drop it. If you want to complete it, then read the colored manga chapters. You will be able to complete it and also you will feel like a burden was taken off. |

I can only guess that you’re too old to watch it or it just doesn’t fit your taste honestly though the Naruto series only appeal to children and teenager and as you can see, it was beloved by most people because it made their childhood wonderful. I did enjoy Naruto and shippuden when I was a kid but when I watch it again I grown to know that it was such a mediocre story but maybe because of it being so basic in its story it was so simple to understand it in the perspective of a child. |

The real question is why are u forcing urself to watch something u don't enjoy and then asking a bunch of strangers their opinion whether u should suffocate urself or not (as u described) Sorry to say this but only right thing to say here is u should get self confidence in u opinion instead of depending on a bunch of strangers. If u don't like a show drop it. U should know better than anyone else what u want to do |

I think you either slow burn it (1-2 episodes per day), or you smash it on 2x speed until its gone. In between gets frustrating because you are committing loads of time but you dont feel like you make any progress. @PalacinkaHR dont ever change. the internet is a sterile and sensitive place these days and you made my day. |

I manage to finish all 720 episodes. But my advice to you if you feel that you are forcing yourself, just watch the episodes that are canon and exclude the filler episodes. Now this is just me but it bothers me more if i don't finish what I started. There's a guide if you search on the internet on what episodes/arcs are important to watch. |

I thought Naruto Shippuden was good. There's a lot of filler and I would say skip them if you want but sometimes the fillers kinda relate to the war arc. The shinobi war is really interesting though |

Fortunately people here guided you. Skipping the fillers, you have around 100 episodes to finish. The last 20 eps are fillers (yes, even the final parts of it have extra material). But I advise you to watch the last episode - it is beautiful. |

If you no longer enjoy something that's for entertainment, drop it. But if you're really curious, you can always speed through it - skip fillers & fast forward on flashbacks. The other options is just go to wikia and find out how it ends :D I personally love the show so far, but I stopped watching this back when it was airing because of the fillers. But here I am in 2021 finally picking it up again because I finally found sources to watch it and I really wanna know how it ends. When you have the freedom to fast forward and skip fillers you don't like, it's so much better :D @Kitsugatari Would you recommend watching "The Last" movie first or the last episode? XD Sorry, I'm curious XD |

XD Sorry, I'm curious XD I'd recommend both, my fellow user ^__^ , since they are connected. 'The Last' explains Naruto and Hinata's bond better, and what made them closer. It's a gripping story. So if you want to understand what happened, watching it is a good choice. The anime just jumps way ahead in the relationship, but the movie shows an adventure that united them. Since it is cannon, you can watch it but in any moment you like. Although I watched after ending the anime, you can watch before the last season. |
